After reaching out to several other window companies, we knew that once Jim from Windows Pittsburgh stopped by to provide us with a quote, his company was the one that we wanted to to go with. From the moment Jim, the owner of Windows Pittsburgh, stopped by he was completely professional and made sure to keep our consultation around an hour, which we appreciated. We went back and forth for weeks about grids and colors, and Jim was extremely patient and didn't pressure us at all during this time. For anyone who has shopped for windows, you would understand how "sales-pitchy" these consultations can be. Jim did not make us feel pressured or rushed in to a decision what so ever. He was just a good, local guy, who was thankful to do business with us. Windows Pittsburgh is locally owned, and operated. I liked this because I knew that we were giving back to our community vs. giving in to the larger window companies. After our initial consultation we did have one person come to get exact measurements, and then our actual instillation was approx. 4 months after our order. The installation was scheduled for three days, but it only took the installers two days total. I can not speak highly enough about the installation process because they really took their time to do things right, and cleaned up (very well) as they moved throughout the house. Drop cloths were used on the floors, and they swept and cleaned up after each window. I didn't worry at any time about broken glass, nails, etc. They did a fantastic job, and even wiped and cleaned the new windows (they will never be this clean again!) When I met with Jim initially, I told him that I heard of Windows Pittsburgh from Yelp. He seemed surprised by this, because he doesn't use Yelp for advertising anymore. As you know, this company isn't as heavily broadcasted in the Pittsburgh area. I'm hoping that our review gets noticed, and that anyone looking for new windows or exterior doors in the Pittsburgh area will consider using Windows Pittsburgh, they will really do a great job and you will be happy with the results!

Prices were very good and the quality is top notch. The installation was a breeze! The guys were courteous of my toddler and my house. They cleaned up everything and hauled away all trash. Would recommend Windows Pittsburgh to absolutely everyone.

I decided to use someone else to put my back window in because they only install the same size window over the old frame. they don't actually replace trim or anything. Im truly unhappy with them customer service. though as I said their installer both for the window and siding are the only reason they get any stars. the installers are great. the rest of the chain to get the stuff is absolutely horrid. Super unhappy

They installed a new shower for me in February of 2020 and I was very disappointed in the quality…read moreof work. The workmanship was very sloppy and unprofessional looking. Months later they sent the same installer out to fix the job when I complained but he did as poor of a job the second time as he did the first. Finally, a year later, they sent a different person out to review and ultimately redo my shower. This person, Ted, did a wonderful job of cleaning up the mess that the first person made and I am now very happy with my new shower. I suggest you ask for Ted to do your work if you purchase remodeling work from Mt. Pleasant Windows.

Dearest Gentle Reader,…read more View my story as a cautionary tale. I became aware of this company at a bridal convention at the casino back in 2023. I put my information down because I knew my future husband and I would be in need of home remodeling services in the future. To their credit this company called me once a year for the next 3 years to check in on our status and if we were in need of their services. It is because of their RESPECTFUL persistence (and the charming phone interaction I had with an older very respectful gentleman on the 3-year check in call) that my husband and I opted to begin our house remodeling with new windows and hire this company to do it. In March their sales associate Justin K. came to our home in New Brighton, PA (our location of our home is important to the tale dearest reader). My husband and I had a SPECTACULAR interaction with Justin. He was VERY knowledgeable and extremely helpful in explaining the process to us and next steps after we decided to hire them for the job. As a person who has held many different career paths (one of them sales) I appreciated how respectful and non-pressuring Justin was. Also, as a previous fellow sales associate in my opinion one of this company's strongest assets in terms of employees and their interactions with customers. Justin explained the delay in production with some of the companies they work with (and my husband and I both work in industries where we understand supply chain issues (pediatric nurse, director of metallurgy)) it may be some time until our 5 windows were ready. My husband and I understood and were excited for next steps. I received the call about our windows being ready mid-May. I spoke with a very lovely woman (whose name is escaping me at this moment) but we set up the appointment for installation in June. The gentleman that came for the 2nd and official measurements was also a delight to work with and 10 out of 10 strong employee. Both he and the lovely woman informed me becuase of supply issues with the company fulfilling our order we would be upgraded to a larger dual pane window, as opposed, to the single pane with screens we ordered as the company could not provide information on when the single pane would be available. I mean who doesnt love an upgrade, right? Installation day went swimmingly. Joe (the older gentleman) who led the trio was very nice. He introduced himself and his team (Charlie and Josh). I can not remember which of the two was the younger (highschool age) gentleman but he was very respectful and did a very good job for someone so young. The other older (maybe mid 20's early 30's) man was far from gentle and seemed irritated by my presence (or my Kamala sign I PROUDLY have displayed on my front lawn) but, regardless he did the job he was hired to do (in awakard silence at points) but completed non the less. During the installation Joe brought to my attention that one of the windows was missing its screen. He informed me he put a call into the office and I would recieve a call back about next steps the next day. Overall, I give 5 stars to Joe and his team for their quick and professional installion of our home's windows. I did not recieve a call the next day. I called the office and the woman I needed to speak to was out of the office until the following day. Again I sadly can not remebr her name but she was again very pleasent when we finally connected. She apolozized for the inconvinence and told me she would reach out to the company and get back tome as soon as she had an understanding of the situation. To her credit she did what she promised and got back to me fairly quickly. It took me a few days to return her call (she left a voicemail) as I stated above I work as a pediatric nurse and I work the overnight shift 7pm to 7am. It can take me a day or two to return calls/ emails as most businesses and people are resting or closed while I am working and I am resting while they are open / available. The next perosn I spoke with was April who I guess heads the service department and their appointments. The converstion I had with April at this time was pleasent and I explained how not only do we need our screen but asked if the tech that delivers the screen can look over the windows put in because, dearest reader, my husband and I have been seeing SO MANY FLIES in our house! April and I set the date for TODAY! This is 6 WEEKS AFTER INSTALLATION. Let that sink in for a moment 6 weeks after install AND PAYMENT we are waiting for the job to be finished. The reason being our hiome location (New Brighton, PA for those lost in the story) is an hour away from where they are. Oh yea, that was the common theme amonst all the employees is how far away of a job our home was form where they normally work. Funny cause yall called me every year for three years so I figured distance wasnt an issue?
