Bought an expensive LG refrigerator just under five years ago. Finally got to the point that it would not make ice in the door dispenser. Our local appliance repairman diagnosed the problem correctly and helped us contact LG warranty service and helped us navigate their "pass the buck" and "run around" tactics. Finally, LG agreed to have their authorized warranty service dealer contact us and come out to do the repair. Long story shortened: DDD service technician, Josh, immediately recognized the problem, removed and replaced the defective linear compressor and checked out all systems. We soon realized that our refrigerator had never cooled properly. Regardless of the settings, the freezer drawer never got below 15 - 20 degrees. The upper ice maker always dripped water, was slow making ice and food (especially ice cream) in the freezer drawer was never frozen solid. But within a couple of hours after Josh finished the compressor replacement the lower freezer drawer was at 0 ( zero ) degrees and the upper ice maker is producing ice as it should. I give DDD Appliance and Josh my highest recommendation for their service, reliability and courtesy. Jim Lever Tifton, GA P.S. They were arrogant, claimed I caused the problem by slamming the door too hard and were totally disrespectful. They left saying an additional part was required and during the following three weeks refused to answer calls or texts. I can not say enough good things about this business. I have Speed Queen washer and dryer appliances. I had a problem with the dryer. Speed Queen reached out to DDD to repair it. The company is two hours away. They contacted me, thought they knew the problem, ordered the part before coming, contacted me in two days and so in less than a week my dryer was fixed. They stayed in contact with me so I knew what was happening. The gentleman repairing the dryer was in constant contact so that i knew who was coming and exactly what time he would be here. Is it possible to add ZERO stars to rate this company? Because I want to put about a million times minus ZERO . I had an issue with my Frigidaire cooktop that cracked and Frigidaire set an appointment with them so that they could come out and take a look at the cooktop they set the appointment between 12:00 and 5:00p.m. and my request was to please call before you head out towards me. Sat there until 4:45 p.m. no one showed up when I called Frigidaire they called DDD appliances and the guy told him that he didn't feel like coming out to my address! Seriously wasted my time all day long I have a family member who had a stroke and this is the way they treat their customers! So Frigidaire reset a new appointment with someone else from me! I am hoping to raise the review on this rating!! DDD came out to look at a washing machine that's only 7 months old on warranty through Lowe's. I told them the make/model/serial number on the phone when they scheduled the appointment, was told they'd bring parts to the appointment the next day. Guy showed up as expected, looked at the machine, made a call and gave them make/model/serial number (that I had already provided) then hung up and said, "Yep, you got a problem. There's a service bulletin against this machine. We'll have to order parts." And left. It's now been 3 weeks, no one has ever called back to reschedule the repair or tell me parts status. I've called and left messages at DDD without any reply... Next step is going back to Lowes and Better Business Bureau. This company is a joke. They are also NOT a certified repair company through Alliance Laundry Services, although they were at one point in time. After speaking with a representative in Racine, WI at the Alliance headquarters (many brands, like Speed Queen are alliance products), they verified they are no longer authorized to work on this company's products. I've been dealing with them for over 2 months and they're just now finishing work that should have been finished in early October, at the latest. They don't make sure their repair was successful before moving on. They blamed part suppliers for delays. I was able to get a part, out of pocket that should have been covered under warranty, in 7 days. It took them over 2 months and they never even got that part for us. In the beginning this company's service was what you would expect from a small-town local company. The true essence of this company wasn't revealed until we had an issue. After calling for service, a technician came right out and diagnosed our appliance issue and as soon as the part arrived, he came right back out to finish the repair. Within a week, the same issue started again so we called again. They sent out a technician the same day; however, we were charged $55 for labor time and the problem remained unresolved. The stove issue was said to be due to a manufacture's recall, which we verified, there isn't a recall. Everything went downhill from there. I went by the office to discuss the matter with the Lead Technician, Joey, and that experience was even worse, he was argumentative, unprofessional, and I could hardly get a word in. While I was trying to speak with Joey, an office clerk joins in offering a tirade of excuses. I quickly concluded I was not going to get an appropriate resolution to this issue. The professional culture of this business is flawed and the management conduct is clearly replicated through the subordinate employees. I only write this review to forewarn others and to prevent an avoidable headache. We usually call Cook's appliance for service, but due to their backlog we decided to try DDD. My 6 mo old refrigerator stopped cooling. The manufacturer sent DDD Appliance to repair it This is the beginning of the nightmare. Constant visits did not repair it. The last repairman agreed that the refrigerator could not be repaired. The repair man wrote on the repair ticket that I refused service and the manufacturer refused to honor our warranty. Horrible experience and all the negative ratings are true. I spoke with a male on the trying to confirm that I. was on their schedule for that day. He was very rude from the start of the conversation. DDD Applicance has been out 3 times to fixed my LG refrigerator and it's stills not fixed. They came out to fix the freezer because it wasn't getting cold enough and they said that they had to replace the compressor . Once the compressor was replaced two weeks later I had the same problem . The second time they came out they replaced another part. The freezer worked for a couples weeks again and stoppEd . The third time they replaced another part. My refrigerator or freezer haven't work since they left the third time. REPEAT ....Do Not Let This Company work on your appliances. 0 stars .... LG uses DDD for potential repairs under warranty. The DDD technician arrived, looked into the problem and told us that the compressor was shot but it was covered by the warranty and they would put in the ticket to get it replaced. We've been waiting 3 weeks now and have heard nothing back. So we called. DDD informed us they were waiting for LG to respond. However when we called LG, they told us they denied it on the advice of the technician who came. No information. No explaining anything to us during the visit. In fact we were left with the impression that everything was good for a replacement. No honesty at DDD. Why the subterfuge? Never accept them as a repair company. This company is fraudulent and the technician LIED! Maytag sent this company's technician out to replaced the motor in our MAYTAG dishwashwer which is less than 6 months old. When the technician came out he worked about 4 hours on the dishwasher and turned we turned it on. It wouldn't drain and was making a noise louder than when he first worked on it. The technician and I had a conversation that this was all he could do and the dishwasher wasn't draining and making a louder noise than even before. The technician stated that most likely MAYTAG would have to replace it as the new motor didn't work. I then called MAYTAG three days later and they informed me that the technician put in his NOTES that the dishwasher is working appropriately. He flat out lied. I explained to MAYTAG that the technician and I had the conversation and both witnessed that clearly the dishwasher wasn't working and making a louder noise than before. I called Triple DDD and was informed that the owner's would be calling me to discuss and then the receptionist hung up on me and refused to answer any of additional calls. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company....you will REGRET IT! I have never experienced a company so fraudulent and unethical. MAYYTAG is requesting a review and should have them removed as a repair provider due to fraudulent documentation and billing!! read more

Please pay attention to the negative reviews. They are so spot on. We had an issue with an LG fridge. Which is still under warranty Ddd is who LG sent to repair our fridge. Worst decision ever. The technician was nice enough but could never repair the fridge after 4 trips. Everytime upon leaving claiming it was fixed this time. We are 3 months with out the use of our fridge. We have called too many times with no return call and same result when you text a message to there text line. Please find someone else to use as they are not even inept enough to return a call. Leaving us again with out a fridge for 3 months. After reading all the other reviews and seeing how they could possibly lie to LG about the repair work We are now reaching out to the BBB and will definitely call LG back to take them off there repair list . Diagnosed the problem incorrectly and of course ordered wrong parts. Lied about how long it takes to get the parts. They put on a bad part and wanted to leave it. LG set up an appt. with these guys 5 months ago. Said they were going to call me that day to confirm the appt. no one ever called. I called LG back sept. 28th they told me the same thing. Still no one called. I called DDD Appliance on sept. 28th and the girl told me I had an appt. for the following Thursday. I asked for a time. She said they would call me 45 mins before arrival to let me know the time. No one ever called or came. Oct. 1 I called LG back and they said I had an appt. and that DDD Appliance would be calling me that day Oct 1 to give me a day and time. I heard nothing from DDD Appliance. After hearing nothing from DDD Appliance for another almost 2 months I called back LG on nov. 22. She said she was going to look in to the matter and call back. no one called back until Nov. 30th. Then they told me again that I had an appt. that day between 8 AM and 5 PM. I asked if she was sure about this because they told me this before. She called DDD Appliance to make sure. While on hold I also called DDD Appliance to confirm. The girl at DDD Appliance said I did not have an appt. till Thursday Dec. 2nd. and That there was no scheduled time and that I would receive a text and the driver would call me 45 mins before arrival. I told her I had been told this same thing several times before already and no one texted, called, or came out. I told her that when I tried to call DDD Appliance back on the matter they blocked my call for whatever reason. So I used someone else's phone to call. When they answered they told me they reset the appt. to the following thursday but still no one texted , called, or showed up. And I told her I did not want to go through this again and that it has been 5 months. She said " I am sending your order back to LG and you have a nice day" and then she hung up on me. I have asked for a supervisor several times at DDD Appliance but they keep telling me the same thing. That the supervisor is out and they will give her ( whoever her is) a message and she will call me back. I have not received a call back from any supervisor at DDD Appliance. So now I am calling LG back once again to let them know what happened and I am filing a complaint against DDD Appliance with the Better Business Bereau. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences in my 46 years as a home owner. We had an issue with a washing machine that was covered under a Home Depot extended warranty. We filled a claim and the repair order was assigned to DDD Appliance. They sent a technician out who didn't have a clue how to service the machine. I had to show him how to access the control board which needed replacing. To make matters worse he began to work on the machine and I noticed he had unplugged the dryer which is 220 volts instead of the washer which was 110 volts. As he started to disassemble the washer I told him he had unplugged the wrong machine and that the washer was still plugged into power. He removed the control board made a phone call and told me the board needed to be replaced. Which is what I told him when he first got there. Getting follow up service was a complete fiasco this outfit scheduled their service calls a day out. So all Tuesday calls are not scheduled until Monday afternoon. I called twice and asked for a longer lead time for scheduling purposes and both times were told they only schedule a day ahead in both conversations the employees I spoke with 1 male and 1 female were very rude and dismissive claiming they could only schedule calls a day out. So after almost 3 weeks we are scheduled for service between 1:00 pm and 3:00pm on a Tuesday. We get a call at 11:00 am and are informed the technician is 30 minutes from our house ready to do the work. We explained we were told 1-3 and we're down town but would get home quick as we could. So this is a different technician than the 1st guy. He shows up and asked me what is the problem? I said you are here to replace the control board right? He said no the work ticket just said the washer wasn't working no mention of a control board. I explained a different guy from DDD had already been here and was supposed to have ordered. After a series of phone calls he apologized and explained that the original technician had the part but never updated the work ticket to reflect his diagnosis of the problem or the fact a part had been ordered. In the end we called the warranty company and had the repair order reassigned to another provider. DDD Appliance Repair seemed to be inept at the most basic elements of customer service. read more
