We had Ryan from J&B fix our dryer last year. He did a quick and efficient job at a fair price. This week, the freezer on our side by side stopped freezing, so we called him again. He spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong but couldn't find the problem. He doesn't deal with Freon issues, so gave us the name of someone to call. Amazingly, he refused any payment for his time because "I didn't fix anything"! That kind of service is rare these days. I HIGHLY recommend this hard working and honest man. read more

I didn't even purchase any service from this Great company, but I'm still posting a Glowing review for them because they answered my inquiry about repairing my old appliance versus replacing it, and saved me hundreds of dollars at the expense of not trying to repair my old appliance and taking my money. Ryan from J & B Appliance Service quickly responded to my text and stopped by later that day (on my last minute request) to diagnose my dysfunctional washer (LG front loader). He quickly identified the issue - a defective motor sensor - and placed the part on order. Two days later, at my convenience, he came by, installed the part, and fully repaired the washer. Ryan was very friendly, professional, and obviously extremely knowledgeable - he diagnosed the sensor replacement vs complete motor replacement as suggested by LG service, at less than 1/3 of the price. I called pretty much everyone in town to try and get someone to come to look at our refrigerator to figure out why the freezer was dropping in and out of cooling. I was actually referred to J&B via J&M (guys, we need more distinct names). My washing machine was leaking water. I called Ryan at J&B and he said he could come to correct the problem that same day. Ryan came at the time he said he would and he identified the problem pretty quickly.
