I shop often at dd's discount stores. This particular location happens to be the closet location to my home. However, they always seem to be only half stocked. Doesn't matter what time of year I go in there, there is rarely products on the shelves. I have been going there off and on for two years now and it's always the same. Why are all the isles halve empty? Where are the products? Where is the selection? Very disappointing to say the least because I like dd's, just not this location. dd's discounts are similar to the bigger names like Ross, TJMaxx, or even Marshalls in that they carry a bit of everything - home goods, clothings, shoes, accessories, toys, interior decors, bed & bath, etc. So used to always going to Ross or Marshalls, sometimes forget to check out this place too. They sometimes have similar or exact items as would find in Ross, but maybe at a little lower price. If looking for bargain, it's worth a visit! Located in a decent plaza with plenty of parking spaces, this location is not too bad - well kept and organized. read more

This review is for the manager Andrea and trust me I will be taking this up with corporate as well. She has short brown hair My father had picked I'm two suitcases they were exactly the same and one was marked down at a cheaper price so my father went to go ask why and we were told they mistagged the bag so they took the bag away and tagged it at a higher price. I told the manager that you should honor that price. If we would have ever told you we would have gotten it at that price And she literally said to me in the most unprofessional way and in a very demeaning and rude manner "I should but I'm not going to" Yeah okay. I enjoy the selection of goods and the prices here. During the holidays it gets to be a challenge because so much is rifled through by shoppers and placed down all over in different departments. It is still worth your time to browse through the sales. You may find the perfect gift at a great price. read more

i never come here because it consistently smells like someone took off their pants and laid a fresh dump in the middle of the store. I had dinner at the Vietnamese place in the same shopping center tonight and thought i would walk it off around the store. Possibly the worst experience I've ever had at a dds store. The loss prevention lady was rude from the moment we walked in having an attitude welcoming us in not even looking up when she said it. Also when we went to check out the cashier acted like she wasnt even there they were focusing on some incident that happend with a previous customer that had been giving them problems unrelated to us. Once we paid she said heres your receipt we then asked wheres the shoes she said with so much attitude "it's in the bag" then we said well wheres the bag?? And she said right there and pointed to her baging area. All the while having SO much attitude. We proceeded to ask how were we supposed to know that?? She then popped off with some disrespectful comments and then we got told we can leave now that we paid for our stuff by loss prevention. By far the worst customer service I've ever received by not only the cashier but also loss prevention and the manager on duty ever and I wont be going back to this location ever again. Might not even go to the whole dds store chain. You guys need to retrain your employees and show them how to treat customers. read more

Cashiers are very rude. They ignore you and gossip within each other about previous customers, etc. Very unprofessional setting. I paid and was waiting for my receipt while they were gossiping, I ended up just pulling the receipt myself. The lines are always really long and it's because the cashiers are catching up on their conversations instead of working fast and efficiently. Will not be recommending this store to anyone. read more

.Terrible customer service.. I bought some items. She used 2 bags (I did not know this) but only put one on counter for me to take. I realized when I got home I was missing stuff so I called right away and the worker said well there isn't any bags left. She said the next customer must have taken it. I said we'll I paid for those items. She said bring the receipt in and they would look at the cameras. The loss prevention lady was extremely rude. Looked at the tape and said well she used to bags so sorry. I said she did but only one. I grabbed my receipt to just go and I guess I touched her and she ran after me screaming. I called corporate but have had no solution. Make sure you watch them bag your stuff because if they don't give it to you it's oh well. I will never shop there again.. the security person (female) should be fired. For God's sake it is not Macy's. She is a low life disgusting human and should not be working with the public. She should be fired. I will tell everyone I know to never shop at the coffee location. Even the manager was oh well. They stole my money and kept my items. Don't ever shop here read more

I came in today with my husband and two daughters and the store seemed pretty clean and organized but the cashier was super rude there was an African American gentleman in line and he was being super friendly to us but she was just being unpolitical to him and when he left the cashier started using a bunch of hand sanitizer and told another cashier to spray some febreeze because he stunk and that "he shouldn't be allowed to come back." When they said that there was a huge line of people and I was right in front of the cashiers. I'm sorry but that is just too unprofessional and I will no longer be bringing my business here we're people are rude and discriminatory. read more

This store was nice when first opened now looks like a junk store dirty stuff all over floors an shelfs stuff just thrown on them clothes section every size is mixed. Had to return pants because size on hanger said 11 get home oh nooo there a size 9/10. Smh. And the long huge lines one girl working. Manager andrea is a hole new level of crazy. I worked here so t recomend anyone do so you will be used talked about put down by manager while she stands right next to you. You get cheated on your paycheck for hours worked. They treat customers soooo rudely and if you look a lil low income or colored they told us and security to follow an watch those people. I'm so happy to have this store I've shopped at the other location off Tully for years and it's way across town for me but now this new one is like my neighbor! Every time I come to this store there is always only one cashier and over ten people waiting in line. There seems to be no sense of urgency with the employees slowly scanning and bagging the items. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Store has the most rudest employees I have ever met in my entire life my son and my husband went into the store to go shopping for some sandals they walked into the store stripes the sandals and before they can start looking through the sandals to choose a pair the manager Michelle walk up to my husband and asked him to leave and said that she has the right to refuse customer service my husband showed the manager Michelle that he had money had no intended on shoplifting and ask for a reason why he was being asked to leave all she could say is called customer service when I called to ask why they were asked to leave she was very rude and disrespectful and would not answer to why she asked him to leave the store and told me to call customer service she also hung up on me. First time in the Coffee Rd location in Modesto Ca shopping Friday Morning after I had breakfast with my husband to see what the store was all about and let me just say instead of asking us if we needed help finding anything the older lady that was stocking the self next to the aisle with dog supplies decided to discriminate and walkie your security to scan all aisles. As a mixed couple of Asian and Mexican my husband and I felt very offended. We work in the Corporate word and that kind of service was not called for. read more

Staff is very rude. I misplaced a receipt prior to realizing that the employee left the anti-theft tag on a set of thermals for my grandfather. Thinking that they would have a record of the sale linked to the barcode on the tag like all other stores I took the clothes in. The girl at the 1st counter brushed my questions off since I didn't have the receipt and spoke to a coworker over me and he repeated the same thing she said without. Both in a tone as if I don't understand English. All I asked is what are my options now. Since they both spoke to me rudely, I responded to her rudely, which I don't usually do and I felt bad afterwards. I was tempted to throw the thermal back at her with that attitude. They can keep the $6.99 I paid for them already since I can't prove I paid for it already. They just lost a customer that's for sure. All that was needed was to speak to me normally without an attitude. It's DD's for crying out loud. I'm pretty sure if I was going to steal something it won't be a set of men's thermals, not saying I would steal period. Just using it as an example. Have frequented the Tully location and was thrilled at the prospect of a closer store. Went there Tuesday AM around 11. The store was fairly quiet. Selected my purchase and went to the checkout area. Several registers and no cashiers. After waiting at least 5 minutes along with 4 other women with several children I called across to the security guard who totally ignored my question " is there a cashier available?". A young lady in the exchange and return line spoke up and said "That would be me." So we move out our purchase line towards her line. Finally after a complicated return she calls for the manager, saying "help will be right up." After another 8-10 minutes one mother with small children put her purchase down and left. I'm the meantime 2 other customers were quite upset at being directed to the end of the line for their returns. No manager no further visits to this location! I'll go to Target or Kohls. read more
