Customer service needs to be addressed! My children came here tonight 5/1/26 and spent ALOT of money and the gentleman who helped them was EXTREMELY rude. Tall man, brown hair and glasses not only made them feel uncomfortable but he was really rude to them. I called the store to speak with a manager to report this employee and the man who answered the phone was no better. He was trying to rush me off the phone and I could tell he didn't care what I had to say. The employees here who are the two gentlemen need to be trained on customer service. If you can't treat customers right maybe a retail job is NOT for you. Every other employee in the store were super friendly except this tall man. We won't be back at this location after tonight. So whoever cashier 3810163 is needs to do better and learn what customer service is and not treat teenagers differently from an adult. What a joke! I love bath and body works. I truly do. But recently because of all the different types of sales I believe the employees are a bit stressed out. Some of the employees are getting a bit of an attitude problem with customers about questions they have. I will still be a loyal customer, but maybe only purchase online. read more

Came to this BBW to do a Christmas return without a gift receipt and there was an issue processing my return. The checkout lady attending me seemed very condescending with her service and even giggled with a coworker because the item I had been gifted was old. Mind you I was unaware and even offered to keep the item. However I thinks it's highly inappropriate to assume and treat a customer differently just because you think I may have wanted to cheat my way into store credit. I rarely shop at BBW and when I do I'll make sure it's not at this store. I understand that you think of customers as a part of your day and as people you'll forget with time. But as the customer I left feeling belittled and humiliated for something as simple as a return. Do better! Never shopping at this site again. read more

Yay!!!! I'm so incredibly happy they put a Bath & Body Works in the Crossroads Shopping Center! Best decision ever!!!! So I just got off work and was cruising over to Target. And I saw that Bath & Body Works was open. I was so excited! I knew they were opening I just didn't know when. I turned around and went home and grabbed some candles I had to exchange and went back. Business is located where Justice For Girls was. The minute I stepped in & the cold AC hit my face & the beautiful smells entered my nostrils I had a instant feeling of peace. A feeling of calm . Happy!! I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works! B&B is my happy place. If I'm stressed or not in the best mood & I come here it's instantly uplifted. I don't expect you to understand but my fellow B&B lovers , I know they get it. They know exactly what I'm talking about. I had candles I wanted to switch out . I was not feeling them , was not the vibe!! I could have went to the Vintage Faire but it's a hassle so I never did. You have to find parking then go through the mall . Between work and kids I'm too busy for all that hassle. So it's totally convenient having a location next to my house. Employees super nice & so helpful. Business clean, well organized. My exchange was easy peasy. This is going to be my new spot!! Super happy! read more

I come to this store often since we moved to Oakdale, just like others when there is sales, etc I enjoy a 25 min drive to this store! But after today, it has really ticked me off customer service and how they are all about making that money during the sales! It doesn't matter if someone comes to the store to spend $5 or $100, it's how you treat a customer! Some have store experience working in retail etc and we all know it can be hectic. Anywho, I bought couple of plug ins refill and when I came home have not even opened, they are all leaked in the bag, on paper. This store is 25 mins away from my house and I wasn't going to drive back, but I did! I first called and lady on the phone said "bring it and we can look into it" What is there to look into? Empty sealed bottle? So here I am I came back picked a new bottle, came to register and lady I forgot her name found it funny, she laughed! I'm not sure what is funny. I'm not being cheap, but I did spend $5 on this bottle during your 40% sales. Then she proceeds to give me a bag and receipt that is soaked ( but here I am, brought everything so they can "look into it" Disappointed and have left the store feeling some type of way. Too many bodies following you around the store like storm troopers and at the front door, it's such a weird vibe! Will think about coming back in the future! I enjoy shopping at bath and body works, this business has great products, however, this riverbank store could do better if one employee had better customer service. This is for you, Orlando Rosales, whom gracefully with an attitude gave me his name and emphasized I not leave his last name out. Or maybe you gave me a fake name... but whatever, you know who you are. Treat customers better, you work in a retail store, these customers whom you have no patience for and in the to repeat your statements help pay for your wages to work there. It was a nice store I really like the selection and the layout of the store, however the person whom rang me up was not at all friendly and I had coupons and she didn't scan them all, I didn't notice it until I was home and I didn't want to drive the almost 40 minutes drive back for 20%.. not sure if I'll return to this location. read more

I visited this location for the first time it was very organized and everyone was very helpful except for one lady. Her name was Shelly, I had a few questions through out my trip and everyone was so helpful. But I had a question about a scent and Shelly happened to be close and I asked her if there was anything in that scent in stock. She went on to say "that is a seasonal thing and this is not the season" and if that was true and her tone wasn't so condescending that might have been an ok response. Also, I don't know when else a scent names "frozen lake" would be available!?!? As I continued shopping she was helping other people with no condescending attitude or tone! And no thanks to her I found a fully stocked candle display of GUESS WHAT......FROZEN LAKE! read more

Unfortunately I was unable to get some of my holiday shopping done there today as I was told I couldn't come in with a shopping cart. I had my toddler in the cart and was hoping to do a very quick shop. Had I put her in her stroller I'm sure it wouldn't have been an issue. (Same size as a cart) but I can't load a stroller up with candles. Most with a toddler understand how challenging it can be and I wish they could have bern more understanding and accommodating, Bummer! read more

Per yelp and the internet this store closes at 7pm on sundays. I went to this location on Sunday at 645 for my online pickup. I work 12 hour shifts and I drove 30 min to get there. They locked the doors 15 min early and when I called the store they said they closed at 6 but were still there and couldn't just give me my order...Now bath and body work canceled my order because I didn't pick up my order in 3 days. not only was my order canceled but now the candles I wanted are out of stock and not the price I ordered them for. Thankfully Sam from customer service was so amazing and helped me even though I was so frustrated and probably a little rude to him and was able to get my candles and everything I needed delivered to me. I would give Sam 10 stars if I could. Best customer service experience with customer service. read more
