The first Five Below opened up in 2002 in Pennsylvania and there are now 1,850 stores throughout the United States. Five Below has been rapidly expanding. The concept of the store is everything costs $5 or less. At least it used to be. Something I noticed through the years is that they are offering more and more items over $5, especially tech, more elaborate holiday decorations, and room decor. They now have a room in the back of the store where some of the items are as high as $25. Their inventory is mainly marketed to kids and teens. Expect to see a lot of nods to pop culture. If you have a young person in your life then you are probably well acquainted with this discount chain. Departments include seasonal decorations, tech, work out, play, beauty, and snacks. You can't beat their $5 t-shirts and I always find myself drawn to the snack aisle. When my daughter was younger I would shop for inexpensive birthday party presents, stocking stuffers, and cheap room decor. Now I find myself stopping by to pick up cute motivators for the kids I work with. The store is currently all decked out for Halloween. It is worth popping in from time to time to see what is new.

As kong as my puppy stayed in a cart, they let us in! I really appreciate places tht allow our furry friends to come in with us, otherwise my mom wouldve had to wait outside. As for the staff, they are nice and particularly young. This means that they may not have much customer service experience and I don't think they receive much training. Like all retail, it's a hit or miss with who you check out with. Affordable for everyone!…read more Dollar tree (well 1.25 tree now) is one of the places I love the most. Why? Because I can find everything I need and do not need too heheh . The variety of products they have it's impressive. And now that they increase their price, it's getting better( new brands / better quality). I always go to my clean products and of course always finish my shop with extra candies/ chocolates/ candles etc... ehhehehe it's impossible to say no to these things. My only complaint is that sometimes their staff are really rude but I would stop sparkling this place for me.
