    Rainbow Crunch Grapes

Took a ride down to La From the bay just happened to run into D at the shop Freshly prepping some greatness bought some grapes and they lasted me the drive back to the Bay still intact ‼

The customer service was a 10/10 and the owner was very nice and generous! The grapes are really good! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch is BOMB! The fresh grape juice is chefs kiss! It's a small, quiet, clean treat shop with a variety of flavors to choose from! Every cup of grapes comes with a cute little fork. I recommend and would definitely come again!

This place is so bomb! My sister introduced me to this when she ordered from Too Good to Go. She ordered an extra large bag as I did today, but instead of the small 2 grape sample I got, she had everything else pictured but also a cup of grapes larger than the bigger ones in the photo, so a feel a little cheated, but it'll still be good.

    Candy Apple Grapes

These treats looked so cute like the acorns and tasted good and refreshing. They were just as satisfying as candies, but I did not feel guilty eating them as they were mostly (green) grapes and crushed peanuts with a bit of white chocolate.

So happy I decided to try this neighborhood hidden gem! The grapes are out of this world and the customer service was wonderful. I definitely will be recommending to friends and stopping by again!

    Cheesecake Grapes

The people who run DD'z are so humble and down to earth, talking to the owner and his son I found out all the grapes are handpicked and not all of them make it, they put so much care into what they do . I had the cheesecake grapes (the crunchiest and juiciest grapes i ever had) Would definitely get them again.

He introduced me to this market years ago and it's fun each time! It's exciting seeing all of the vibrant produce, and often times, I'm introduced to something new! Fruit, Veggies & More | I'm amazed by all of the colorful, vibrant fruit and veggies all around! The samples are fantastic and usually gets me every time! Haha! Everything tastes so fresh, it's such an eye-opening experience! Produce straight from the farm truly makes a difference, it's like an explosion of flavor in a totally different way! I truly can taste the difference! Purchases of the Day | The Blood Oranges were so full of flavor, tasted like half orange and a bit of grapefruit! The Cherry samples were love at first bite; got the large container! The Red Velvet Plums had me at first sight, as I love the name! Haha! They were really good! I tried so many Plum samples & they stood out the most! The peaches were so full of flavor! I immediately imagine putting them in my morning oatmeal, as well as yogurt! They taste so good on their own as well, yum!! Scenery | It's quite the busy market, as there so much going on, but also relaxing atmosphere! This time there were small tables and chairs where people were dining! There was a musician playing a guitar and he started singing to me, it was really cute! People were so friendly, both at the booths and while walking around! Each booth I visited had the friendliest customer service and everyone was so knowledgeable about the items! A special thank you to the sweet girls at the tea booth! Thanks for the incredibly fragrant OSMANTHUS OOLONG tea sample, was absolutely so delicious!! Once I finish all of the different types of tea at home, I'll have to buy your tea!! Sweet Tooth | Though I was fully focused on sampling and purchasing the vibrant, fresh fruit and veggies, I also have a sweet tooth! Haha! I had a delicious pear croissant to go! Overall | A market full of fresh veggies, fruit, and other foods and drinks is always a win! I'm looking forward to going again! What a fun experience!

Good variety of produce and lots of prepared food options too. Of course it's near downtown Culver so businesses there are also quite active. Parking in the lot at the mouth of the market; also convenient to reach with public transit. Overall I believe this market is very well rounded. If you're looking for fruits & veg, breads or pastries, and hot food of various kinds, it's all here. Notably there is a kuya with specifically Asian vegetables priced very reasonably! Otherwise, prices range, and if you're looking for a specific farm or brand, you may be out of luck.

One unfortunate aspect to the fruit carts is that the stock is typically hit or miss. Some have mango, some don't and it's the same with everything else, you kind of have a crap shoot when it comes to what fruits will be available. Not here though, the guy has almost every single day: mango, coconut, honeydew, cantaloupe, cucumber, pineapple, jicama, watermelon, orange. Every day, no kidding, and with it being directly outside my place of business this cart is pretty much perfect in every way. The gentleman that runs it is the nicest guy on the block. If something is a little unripe he will keep it real and let you know. Just this morning he sliced me off a piece of mango so I could judge for myself, very kind of him instead of just unloading the mango. I went pineapple instead. I talk to him in broken Spanish, he talks to me in broken English, and somehow it all works out. Bonus points for not filling the fruit in plastic bags either, he uses plastic to-go containers which are much easier to eat from, and no worries on it tipping over if you're driving. He has small $3 boxes up to a $5 size, and if you're a fan of fresh coconut water (like me) he'll crack one open and fill you a cup for $1. Everything that comes out of this stand screams 'refreshing', I love it. I know he works about 9:30A - 4:00P on weekdays simply because he's in the prefect place with a ton of office traffic, don't know if he works weekends. Look for him right outside the parking lot of the Wells Fargo, located on Washington Blvd. And don't forget to tip! Yesterday afternoon, I went to the ELF warehouse to spend a GatherGreen coupon. The coupon was a…read more$25 for $50 deal, and had expired, so I went in only expecting to trade it in for the original $25 I spent on the coupon, NOT the $50 coupon deal. As it is standard with online coupon services such as Groupon and AmazonLocal that although the promotional value will expire on a specified date, the amount paid WILL NEVER EXPIRE and will continue to be honored by the merchant after the promotional value expires, I assumed there would be no problem. However, where many vendors will not only allow one to spend the amount paid but will even allow the customer to use the promotional value of expired coupons as well, ELF would not even allow me to trade in the GatherGreen certificate for $25 worth of product. I would understand if they simply wouldn't let me use the promotional deal of $50, but just--keeping my original $25 and not giving me $25 worth of products? I was only asking for $25 worth of merchandise, for the $25 I had already paid, yet the girl acted like I was demanding a special favor. She kept saying that the coupon had expired and could no longer be honored. No matter how many different ways I explained it, she couldn't understand that I WASN'T ASKING FOR THE COUPON TO BE HONORED. I wasn't asking to spend the promotional amount of $50, I only wanted to spend the non-promotional amount of $25. This is STANDARD PRACTICE with every other online coupon service I've tried. Finally I gave up, when my phone alerted me that my meter was about to expire. Probably for the best, as my capacity for civil interaction felt like it too was about to expire. I am not one to yell or throw tantrums, but as I walked back to my car, I could see how one might be driven to such behavior. I also felt sad, because previous to this experience, I would have given ELF five stars like everyone else. Their products--with the exception of the Indonesian cacao--have never disappointed me. I've been in the raw lifestyle and a regular ELF customer for years. Maybe I've been lucky with exceptional service in the past, but this is the only one star review of a business that I've ever given, and I'm not giving them one star because their products aren't good. I'm giving them one star because my experience with the GatherGreen coupon situation was so negative that I was in tears when I left. I'm giving them one star because I don't feel good supporting them by purchasing from them any longer. This was especially upsetting because the other reason I'd gone in to ELF was to set up a wholesale account. Our raw food business has been using ELF's raw pitted botilla olives on a new pizza we released this month, and we've been going through $100 worth of their olives every week. Pizza orders are skyrocketing and we expect to use much more in the near future. However, today with only a little research I found the same raw peruvian pitted dried olives online through another one of our suppliers for $6.25 RETAIL for 8 oz., as opposed to ELF's price of $8.69 WHOLESALE for only 7 oz. We will be saving several hundred dollars a month, thousands a year, by NOT buying through Essential Living Foods. ELF would have made $300-400 a month from us, to start. I hope it was worth it to the ELF customer service lady to treat me as she did, because she lost the company she works for $1000s a year; I just placed an order for three cases of the olives from the alternate supplier I found, in time for next week's orders. At least I have her to thank for inspiring us to look for olives elsewhere. Because of her we will be saving $1000s a year. To me, that's worth the $25 they kept. ...I would also advise against purchasing their GatherGreen coupons. The reason my coupon expired wasn't because I forgot about it. To the contrary I was online several times a week for the duration of the 3-month promotion period, waiting for the items I wanted to come back in stock, and they never did...yet they continued to be in stock at Erewhon and other health food markets (where the coupon wasn't applicable, as it was an "online-only" deal). When I mentioned this to the customer service rep, she informed me that they only do the coupons to advertise their business and to clear their inventory of less popular items. Fair enough. But I won't be buying again.

ELF was my business' go-to wholesale ingredients supplier for years, and the fact that the company…read moreI handed my business over to utilizes them too definitely sweetened my licensing deal. These same ingredients have been staples of my diet, and they are also available at health food stores- you may have never noticed where those bulk brazil nuts or cashews you buy come from, but often it's Essential Living Foods on the bin labels. They sell everything from nuts to cacao powder to very niche raw superfood ingredients like maca and mesquite. Their wholesale prices are comparable to the larger corporate devil UNFI, and their retail prices are fair. I haven't tried any of their snacks, since I generally make my own, but they are made with the same high-quality ingredients and available at every health food store I frequent.

The name of the stand is no longer visible or I would put a review of outstanding on whoever made these tamales. They had various kinds, and so I had a great deal, ordering the pork, chicken, and first time ever, pineapple tamales. The three tamales were large, with a sweet corn surrounding its inside of stuffed pork, or chicken or pineapple. The pineapple tamale filled with fresh pineapple is a revelation.
