Walking into this very well kept market I suddenly felt the urge to buy all items in sight. There are flowers for sale, juices, food items and all the best things a market can offer. Met with a warm greeting from staff I feel already inclined to come back sooner rather than later. I met a friend for sandwich, I enjoyed the Reuben and I am blown away. All of my tastebuds danced at the first bite. You fill out a sheet that is left near the counter by the menu's to either build your own or select one of the signature dishes. Note, they do also have Halal options which is a HUGE plus! Their Deli menu is meant to be enjoyed by all, handful of vegetarian options as well. I'd recommend extra toasted love to any sandwich or panini as it is an option on the sheet you fill out. Stepping into the back patio lounge area, there are many tables and seating places to choose from. Theres almost a sense of peace and serenity you experience while in the patio. Theres koi fish, shaded areas and a very cool pizza station! Plenty of seating, I noticed there was a late morning rush but there was still plenty of room for all to sit and enjoy the summer weather. My only side note that may deter people wanting to visit, parking may be hard to find given that this Market place is splat in the middle of a residential part of Culver City. There is a park a few blocks over from the market, grab your food and drinks and enjoy that open space as well if you're introverted but would still like to experience what Jackson Market has to offer. read more

A fun little neighborhood market. Get your snack on they've got fresh fruits, chips , candies, nuts , baked goods enough to satisfy. staff was super friendly. Ordered an iced vanilla chai while waiting and it wasn't bad. When you first walk in you're greeted with fresh flowers. No one is rushing you to hurry up and leave. You mark up an order sheet and give it back to counter help to place an order meanwhile there's picnic foods refrigerated like salads and other condiments complete your meal. My husband brought me to Jackson Market for the first time in October 2023. It was part of a date day he had planned since we were long distance at the time. I love the array of picnic foods, snacks, and drinks available, as well as the regular sandwich and salad menu. I don't think I've ever gotten anything else besides the melanzane (eggplant) panini. My husband loves their pizza, but we always forget which days they fire up the pizza oven in the back area. When I moved to LA the following year, it became the "hidden gem" spot we would take out-of-town guests. We love the lush greenery, running water fountains, and Edison lights in the back area. It makes you feel as if you are in someone's backyard and can cozy up to work or read a book. It is wild to see how quickly they've expanded in the past three years, particularly with Airbnbs within the space. With that though, it has generated a crowd and impacted our past couple experiences there: getting a seat/table has become increasingly difficult (if you're more than a party of 2), even though I know they've been trying to expand seating options and tried implementing a "no laptop" policy so there might be more table turnovers. I love this hidden gem so much and it has become the meeting place on the back patio with my mentor Sid. Our very own Coffee Talk. ;) I decided I wanted to try their "make and choose your own salad" option for my late afternoon lunch at home. The choices were amazing: 2 kinds of sliced turkey, cucumbers, 2 kinds of pepper (Pepercinos added a great flavor), Swiss and shaved Parmesan cheese over a generous amount of romaine lettuce...dressing on the side. ( I may have left out some other veggies)... When I opened this repast at home I was gobsmacked by the amount of food that came in the container! WOW AND DELICIOUS AND FRESH! I had to enter 1 in order to move forward with review.. I work at Sony Studios blocks away from Jackson Market, and have been a patron for years, ordered food for large work lunches. I have noticed a decrease in friendliness in the last year or so, with at times feeling as if an order for breakfast or lunch night be an imposition. This morning an order was placed for breakfast.. pancakes, 2 fried eggs over medium and bacon. The cook was not friendly and again I felt like I was an imposition. The quality of food is not what it was before, the staff is not who they were before, and my breakfast this morning was the worst food experience I have had. It was awful, stained. Urned pancakes from a grill that was not cleaned and dirty looking eggs. Nothing about today's experience positive, I'm done, and I'll let my cohort and production folks be aware of this experience. Talk about hidden - this market is nestled in a residential area, right on the street with all the houses and apartments (which can make parking a bit of an issue). Inside you can choose from all kinds of groceries, sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast too. Ordering is fast and easy but can have a wait depending on what time you are there. We usually take our stuff to go, but you can walk in the back where they have a great chill spot with lots of seating. The portions and prices are what you would expect. Great choices (or make your own) but it's the Italian Sub for me with a great ration of bread/meat/etc as one of my go to places when in Culver City. This is a really cute spot in Culver City. Parking can be a bit of a challenge because there isn't dedicated parking and it's in the middle of a neighborhood. We ended up parking in the structure down the street and walking over, which worked out fine. Once inside, you fill out a form, pay for it and then had it to the deli to make your sandwich/wrap. I loved that you can fully customize your wraps and sandwiches and there's so many fresh ingredients to choose from. I built my own veggie wrap, and it was delicious. The veggies were really fresh. The outdoor seating area in the back is beautiful and surprisingly peaceful. It feels like a little garden getaway tucked behind the market. Food also got out to us pretty quickly. My husband tried the pizza that was being served and made in the back. It was okay, but nothing special. I definitely preferred my wrap over the slice I tried. I live in walking distance from here. This is like a family owned and run business. We don't get many like that anymore. Been a regular for the past 10 years. I used to always get the caprese panini but then 2025 I started ordering the eggplant. Now that I'm vegan mid-2025 to current, I build my own sandwich. The ingredients are always fresh. There's plenty of seating and sometimes it's full, so luckily Jackson market has the lot next door to enjoy your meal and also the park across the street. The customer service is friendly. It does take minimum 15 minutes for a sandwich to be prepared on the weekend. I'm too scared to come during the week. I feel like it gets busy from Sony. Jackson Market is hiding in plain sight in a residential part of Culver City. In the front, it's a market with an attached deli. Behind that, there is a cozy backyard where you can hang out and even order freshly-baked pizzas. We tried three of these pizzas: sausage party ($21), very veggie ($19), and fungi bianco ($26). It was a busy Saturday when I arrived, so finding seating in the patio was a little challenging but we managed to find a spot. I was ignored by two employees behind the counter and was the only one in the pickup line. They also weren't helping anyone else. Finally, one of them looked up and acknowledged my presence, just took my name and handed me the sandwich. Things like saying hello and thank you may be small, but they affect customer experience. Jackson Market is such a cute gem. I love that it's a little deli store in a residential neighborhood. It's a little incognito and I never would have found it if my friend who lives down the street hadn't recommended it. The sandwiches and wraps are great. You can customize everything so it's exactly how you'd like it. They have a nice selection of snacks from different countries (eg. TimTams from Australia) and they're the only place here I've found Ellenos yogurt from Seattle (my favorite). On certain days they have pizza out back. I always tend to miss this. The last time I came I made sure it was a pizza day but they closed early so I wasn't lucky. It's still on my list to try their pizza. They also ran out of bread for sandwiches so I had to do a wrap. Still delicious. What makes this place the best is that they have an outdoor area in the back. It's a beautiful garden and so relaxing. You can buy wine from here and enjoy it under the trees with the lights and fire torch going. It's a really cute spot for a date. I believe they also hold events. I stumbled upon this gem on a random Saturday. I was craving a fresh deli sandwich, and I found just that here at Jackson Market and Deli. What caught my eye was this small building surrounded by greenery in the middle of a neighborhood. I was able to find parking right in front as I noticed someone leaving, but I am sure parking can be difficult as the street was packed full of vehicles. When my best friend and I walked inside we were greeted immediately. We were directed to ordering station where you fill out a form to build your own sandwich. From the variety of breads, meats, and toppings you can put together a delicious sandwich. While we waited for our sandwich to be made, we walked around the market. I was amazed by all the different drink and food options available. Of course I had to partake and purchase some extra items! Once our names were called and we paid for our sandwiches we noticed people walking out the back of the building and we followed. Wow! the courtyard is absolutely stunning. The perfect set up to study or even have a nice date. Unfortunately, there was no available tables, so we walked around in hopes of finding a place to sit. We did find an open table right in front of the deli. It was still a beautiful scenery and the California sun shining just made it better. Now let's talk about the deli sandwich. Cute spot, decent food, but the employees who work here...maybe because I came early and they weren't quite awake yet. Felt like they were zombies... I wanted to walk around the market to take a look before deciding. I ended up getting a sandwich and a coffee. You order the sandwich by filling out a sandwich order form (to minimize interactions with their zombie employees, although the woman who was making the sandwich was also the only one who was friendly to me). I waited a bit to order a coffee, as it looked like one of the employees was fiddling around with the OJ machine. Eventually, I just asked if I could order a coffee. He seemed to be in a trance when he made my iced latte. Italian sandwich was good - plenty of meats and fillings in it. Baguette was crispy and fresh. I went to the patio looking for a spot to sit. There were a few employees preparing food at the back bar/outdoor kitchen area. I wasn't sure if we could sit there and tried to ask, but the employee hurriedly walked past me without acknowledging me. Maybe he was busy, or maybe he was in his zombie trance? The patio is cute! Please note that this review is based purely on aesthetics and the layout. This place is deceiving in the BEST way possible. Immediately walking up, the property looks like a small unassuming market and deli for locals. But keep walking and walk some more. As you approach the back patio, you realize how big and gorgeous of a property it is. The true star here is the extensive patio. There are plenty of large tables for gatherings, waterfalls, and even heated toilets (more on that in the next paragraph)! Came for a private event at this cute enclosed area for entertaining. The two Japanese toilets in this indoor space have heated toilets and I think even a bidet feature *gasps* I'm convinced this was the life I was meant to live. Come here for your next birthday.
