Salon has gone downhill due to most staff moving on and finding employment at other salons. Only a handful of staff are left. Went there for 2 years and had great service with Nicole and Jenna. Received a gift card for Christmas from my husband who didn't know I did not go there anymore but needed a haircut because my current stylist could not fit me in. I have to say, it was the worst haircut I've ever had. First, I had to wait 15 minutes because he was running late due to client being late. People, if you are going to be late to your appointments have some consideration for others and reschedule. You are putting the stylists behind when you do this and frustrating the next customer. By the time he took me he was rushing and did a quick CHOP on both sides (I have a bob) with a little off on the back. I am on my second haircut to fix this mess and with a few more weeks of growth it should be fine. read more

Had my hair done by Nicole and couldn't be happier. She is so nice and easy to talk to, it made it an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Nicole truly listened to what I was looking for and then offered her own professional advice and a nice way. I ended up with a haircut that I absolutely love! Terrible color job, heavily overpriced compared to other nice salons, "friendly" staff who don't know what they are doing! Instead of apologizing for a completely bad coloring job by Jenna they charged me more than what price they quoted! They are already so overpriced, no wonder no one goes here. I had a very good experience at this salon! Alyssa was very knowledgeable and I left just loving my hair, which I wanted a little more trendy/edgy than it had been. I'm very happy with both the color color and cut! Plus, GREAT customer service. She really listened to me, then offered me good ideas, and carried out exactly what we decided upon. I have fine hair that can be hard to work with and I left so pleased, I'm going back in a week for some additional services. The only reason I'm not giving it all five stars is b/c the salon itself is in sort of an odd building, like a doctor's office building almost, but once you do get past the odd entry, it's really lovely inside - decorated well with cool furnishings/colors. I'm so happy with the service I've been receiving here. I get my hair color done with Jenna or Nicole and they are amazing!!!! I've never had waxing done here before but I had some facial waxing done today by Karen and she was so meticulous and amazing!!! I almost fell asleep!!! I own a salon myself so I'm very particular about how I'm treated and these girls are the best!!! Also, Jenna gave me one of the BEST blowdrys I've ever had. Hubby bought me a GC for the holidays. Got my hair done (roots and all). Got a basic mani/pedi (not gel) and a wax. I will honestly say I felt more pampered than you can imagine. I've told my hubby I'm done with "saving a buck" and that I'm going here from now on. Turns out my stylist works PT there and PT on Newbury Street. So, I got Newbury Street service for more local prices. Again, if you're looking for someplace in the "middle of the action" you're not going to find it here. I visited here to have a mani, pedi and hair color. I really enjoyed my services. My favorite was the pedicure, it was in a really cool private room that was very tranquil and relaxing. The salon is cozy and everyone was very friendly. It's not a store front so it was a bit confusing to find it at first, but once find the office building and correct entrance it's easy. I just moved to the area and checked on Yelp to find a salon to go to. I have short hair with a little buzz and I wanted to go to a salon that liked doing fun short hair cuts and also fun colors. I was impressed with the review of De Anza on this site and then checked their Instagram account and was happy to see short hair as well as long, and some great coloring jobs. I made an appointment for Alyssa - we discussed what I was looking for (which I wasn't sure other than a little different from how I have been getting it cut) and she took her time with me. I tried this salon today for the first time. I had a coupme voucher to use for a cut/color and manicure. The salon is very cozy and inviting. My manicure was with Suzanne and she was great. I haven't had a manicure in a very long time and really enjoyed my treatement. Alyssa was my stylist and she was also very sweet and quite knowledgeable. I couldn't decide what color to go with and she really helped me pick the best shade to suit my skin tone. I am very pleased with the results. I will try the spa pedicure next, it sounds lovely! Wonderful salon! Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The customer service is outstanding. All of the stylists are very talented and knowledgeable. I saw Alyssa for my cut and style. This was my first time at the salon, and she gave me a tour of the salon and fixed me a cup of coffee to enjoy while she finished her client. As I was early for my appointment, I enjoyed the relaxing time. She took her time consulting about what I would like and she gave me a great cut and style.
