The property I was renting was a great price - they don't gouge on rent for the sake of it and rent at very appropriate prices. Anytime I needed maintenance to come out, they were quickly on top of it. And most importantly - because of some personal circumstances, I had to break my lease and move very quickly. They worked with me and held my hand the entire time as I found someone to replace myself on the lease. I walked away without any damage to my credit, a full security deposit returned (I returned it spotless, but even so, it's incredibly difficult to have that experience in a place like LA without the landlord putting up some BS excuse to not give it back to you.) and on incredibly good terms - I'd rent from them anytime. Sometimes they can be a bit slow to return your call, but give them a beat. It's NOT a huge corporation - it's a pretty mom-and-pop sized company and they can only field so many calls in one day.
