The lime one was a little bland but all alcohol drinks are final just FYI! . So there's a lot of options for all cravings of Mexican style pizza or tacos. There's Birria Ramen as well. I ordered on DoorDash for pick-up. This allowed me to get it in route while driving home. The food was so fresh and delicious! I ordered the Birria Ramen and really appreciate that they waited until I arrived to pick up my food before adding the birria broth to my bowl. This kept my food as fresh as possible. The portion size was perfect, and I would absolutely eat this again and again. Even though I was only in there to pick up, my little one had to use the restroom. Nothing but markings to say about this place! We went an hour before closing and we were thoroughly impressed by the food and service! Our server was very kind and helpful. We ordered the medium pepperoni pizza. I can say this is the best pizza I've tasted! It was so light and perfectly crisp and seasoned. We also ordered the honey hot wings that came with fries. The wings and fries had the perfect crisp and flavor. The wing sauce was a 10/10. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Update: We went back for lunch and tried tacos and more wings. I ordered the pollo asada (no Mexican crumbling cheese) and the chicken tinga taco (no queso fresco or sour cream). The tacos were amazing! They had amount of flavor and spice with each bite. De Horno is the best authentic Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I used to eat here a couple of times a week but moved further away but I still make the drive here at least once a week. We drove over an hour to come try this place based off a recommendation. It was amazing and we now wish we had one closer to us! It was a small restaurant but their menu did not disappoint. This has become my go to spot whenever I want Birria, Pizza or don't even know ever I want. The service/atmosphere is great. The staff is an amazing group, they take the time to explain and suggest what you may or may not like and the food is delicious. This would be my second time coming here and this time I will say it was a huge disappointment, customer service is horrible from the kitchen staff, server/food runners, to the manager. I never been to an establishment where everyone was so careless in the food industry. Long story short they forgot about my order and they didn't apologize or take into consideration the inconvenience they cost me relying on their customers service. I ended up getting a refund after waiting 50 minutes for an order of birria ramen and queso birria tacos. Not to mention the server/food runner was very rude. I honestly felt like I was being discriminated against, Catering to everyone else besides me (black woman) and I been waiting way longer than everyone else. As I did not have the chance to sample the food, I am unable to offer any comments on that aspect. Upon entering, I observed two young individuals behind the counter, and neither acknowledged the customers who were arriving. Rather than one attending to me and the other assisting the other customer, they both remained at the counter. My daughter and I initially sat down but then relocated due to crumbs on the chair. We then moved to another booth, which had sticky cup rings on it. Considering it was empty, one might not anticipate unclean tables/booths. I requested that it be cleaned, but I was simply told that I could move to another booth instead of being asked if I would like to. Given that I had already moved once, I decided, based on the customer service, that today was not the right time for me to try the food. While I appreciated the music level and the setup, I did not truly experience it, so I will provide an update if I decide to try it again. I am keen on supporting local businesses, so I will give them another chance, hoping for an improved experience. read more
