    Prosciutto Pizza

Pizza and Prosecco? That's a great idea! But I actually had pizza and red wine which was also very good. So, basically it's a casual pizza restaurant with a nice vibe. Definitely date material. Buy a bottle and share a pizza because the dessert list looked yummy...but I was too full to eat it. But I wish I could have! The pizza was very tasty. I ordered the margherita pizza and my only comment on it is that I would have liked more basil. I got three pieces, but I like a little bit on each slice. The crust was thin, but not too thin, and it had the perfect amount of sauce with delicious cheese. I really really liked the atmosphere. As I said, great place for a date, but I went with a friend which was also nice. It's just a chill spot to eat some good pizza and drink some wine. Service was really nice as well. While I'm not in the neighborhood for this particular restaurant, I would like to go to De Pizzabakkers again.

Big portions, but finished every bite! Food is amazing here.

We decided to give De Pizzabakker's a try after our hotel recommending them for a bite to eat. It was our first evening so didn't fancy a trip into Dam so went here as it is located a few doors down from our hotel. So glad that we did! The pizza was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. The portion size was big, but I couldn't resist their panacotta for dessert. With no regrets! Also, a glass of prosecco is roughly 3€ which is absolutely great! My boyfriend and I live around the Essex/London area and a glass prosecco is never priced below at least £7/£8! Great value for money, and amazing food! Only downside is that they don't accept cash, which we didn't prepare for before travelling to Amsterdam. We always exchange our spending money into cash, but will probably exchange half of our holiday money on a prepaid card next time as this seems to be an approach of most places we've visited in Amsterdam . Minuscule downside for such a lovely restaurant with a good vibe, great food and friendly staff! :)

So good! We based our decision to eat here on yelp reviews. We showed up and the place was booked, but they worked us into the terrace. The focaccia ... so different, but so so so so good! Make sure to make a reservation or come at off times.

Me and my partner happen to come across this amazing place and I'm happy we did we're both born & raised in New York and this is hands down the best pizza we have ever had. I wouldn't trust anyone that says this place isn't good. The service the environment the food 10/10. A Must go!

4.25 Stars. Ventured over here on my first night in Amsterdam after reading some stellar reviews, and was stoked to have some primo pizza. I arrived at 6pm, and there was no one else there except for me (changed later, as more people started streaming in). I ordered a pizza with sausage and red bell pepper, and yes, I did find it to be really damn good, but it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had. For some reason, after reading the reviews here on Yelp, I thought it would be at least top 3, so I was a tiny bit disappointed, hence the 4.25 stars. I had a glass of wine with my pizza, and I followed up the pizza with a dessert, which was very nice, as well. All in all, a solid experience, though I did find the girl working the bar/serving the restaurant to be just a little below my expectations for this place. Come here expecting a really good pizza, but by no means expect the best you've ever had, or even top 3 if you're a pizza lover. Keep that in mind, and you'll be totally satisfied.

Awesome bruschette, delicious pizza with crusty dough and tasty desserts (big up to the chocolate calzone)! A lovely place for a nice dinner with friends or in couple ! Also, waitresses are very sympathics :)

Bruschetta selection starter, great to share!

I didn't end up eating here. It was busy when we walked in, around 7, and very bright out. I saw a mouse running around so I left.

Best pizza's in town! Friendly waitresses. As a vegetarian I had many options to choose from and great homemade limoncello.

Three reasons we went here: - Three minutes from my house ;-) - Charcoal oven where they make the pizza's - It was 'Gierige Maandag' (Greedy Monday); pizza's were 8 euro's So yea. The combination of these factors made us go here. The place is nicely decorated, great for a multitude of reasons. Good wifi available, good beers both bottled and draft, and god yes those pizza's. De-lish. They were very nicely done and even though it's called Gierige Maandag, they definitely were not Gierig with the toppings. Great mozzarella, lovely crust, not too much cheese (god I hate too much cheese), very nicely balanced flavors. We switched halfway through our pizza's and I can confirm that both were amazing. They have a number of specials depending on the day, so I'd recommend trying out a few of these days. But the pizza they serve are what hooked me and I'm sure it'll get you hooked, too. You're welcome! :-)

The pizza was definitely good but it didn't wow me the way I thought it would given this restaurant's prestige. The service was great and the inside is very nice but yeah. Truthfully I didn't think this was a super standout. Maybe I've had too much Neapolitan pizza... Worth eating at for sure especially if you haven't had Neapolitan before but yeah. Their cacio e pepe bucatini ball was my favorite part of the meal. Sooooooo yummy!!!! We managed to snag this reservation, no clue how. But 100% you need one so be sure to get one! I think they have a take out storefront though so that's also an option.

Reservations are often booked up for a year so our best bet was either take-out or walk-in. I don't think take-out is available every day of the week so be sure to check before heading out! When we visited, the wait for walk-in was over an hour and there was no way we were going to do that. Take-out is actually its own building and entrance right next to the restaurant. They don't have the full menu as the sit-down side but you can get your pizzas so much faster. They even acknowledge the fact that people will eat in front of the store so they'll provide plates instead of the pizza boxes to save on waste. They'll also have scissors to help cut your pizzas into shareable portions. Each pizza is large enough for a single person but it's better to do family-style and order a bunch of different types to try more. Their style of pizza has a bit of a larger crust and I ended up not finishing those. I tried the Oyster Mushroom, which was my favorite with the mushroom and garlic flavors. The second one was the Salsiccia and Patate (I think?) and was our meat pizza. I couldn't really understand the cashier but they were out of something so the pizza I got wouldn't have been the complete thing. I'm not sure what was missing but overall, a tasty pizza too. If you can get a reservation, I highly recommend dining in to try more things. But if your wait is over 30-45 minutes, just do take-out because I don't think it's worth the wait.
