Two jewelers back home confirm it is a new ring, not an antique. About two months after the purchase, the ring fell apart into two pieces. I sent photos and was told that the store would pay for the repair. When I sent the receipt for the repair ($290) I got no response. I called and the owner said "There is no way that ring just fell apart" and "you must have thrown that ring against a wall," basically calling me a liar. It did, in fact, simply fall into two pieces, no damage to it. We paid $4000 for the lovely ring. She is refusing to pay for the repair. We still love the ring but am saddened by our treatment and the proprietor's rudeness to us.

The shop is Gorgeous! with really beautiful details and attention to detail. Which is true of the garments as well. I've never been into corsetry because of my super short torso but the shop owner (I think) assured me that I would be able to find something that fit. They had a great selection of gloves and art work as well. Definitely a great spot to browse and buy yourself something special!
