Everything went smoothly, from check in to new patient paperwork to cleaning and X-rays. The hygienist was a superstar, dealing with a couple of areas that were hard to clean in my small mouth. Dr Buckwalter was great and went over everything you'd expect as a new patient. Administratively it was all very organized at check out (they bill your insurance) and now I'm all set for another cleaning in 6 months!

I had a filling performed and they explained to me exactly what the treatment consisted of and it was a breeze! The week before, I had my teeth cleaned and my hygienist Mallory was incredible, she has the hands of an angel! I have never had such a pleasant cleaning in my life. I changed dentist to them and they kept me from pulling out four teeth. I had a different tooth that needed to be replaced with a prosthetic due to an error in judgment years ago and they did their part wonderfully. The administrative staff is wonderful and responsive to your requests. I am never kept waiting long, and they are great for scheduling. They are also better than par for dealing with insurance.

Then they acted like we should have known that anthem no longer covered this. I read an article that greatly shroud whether panoramic x rays should be done in addition to serial x rays. The article I read says panoramic images are prone to distortion and artifacts. It also stated that the amount of pathology discovered with panoramic vs serial xrays was negligible. The front office people were definitely not nice. Be sure when you book that you are clear what you want and ask them to let you know if they will be upcharging.
