Don't judge this book by it's cover! From the front of this store it looks sketchy, at best. Bars on the windows, mug shots of those not allowed to enter, all in a little run down little strip mall in the middle of Dean Forest road where you aren't sure what language they will speak when you open the door. HOWEVER This was hands down the best gun buying experience I could have asked for. The gentleman working inside were smart, personable, and weren't trying to get you to buy a bigger more expensive anything. They wanted to help you figure out what you needed, and just so happen to have the best prices compared to anywhere else in all of Savannah. For as long as we live here, this place will have our business. Additional note: If you are looking for a giant, pretty, gun store with a ton of different ear pro, eye pro, clothing print shop and overhead company prices that closes at 1 pm on a Saturday... this isn't the place for you. But if you want a GREAT priced gun, this is where to do it. read more

Always a pleasure to walk into this business. People are friendly and helpful. To date i have purchased 5 firearms from them over the past several years. Inventory selection varies from time to time so if they don't have what you ar after talk with them and they will special order it for you. Sales folks are very helpful so if you are looking for your first firearm and are not sure what to get they will assist in a very patient way to help educate you and assist in making the decision. Another very important point: This business supports local charities in a BIG way. They also support local law enforcement in a BIG way. For this they have my support and business. read more

I have bought my last 5 guns here. Doug is one of my favorite people I've ever worked with as a customer. He is very knowledgeable about not only the guns themselves but also the laws that go along with them. The prices are great and the selection is to for a store this size. Like I said I've purchased my last 5 guns here. Outside maybe a gun show, this will be the only place I buy guns from here on out. And to the lady who complained about having to send the gun back to the manufacturer... that would happen at any gun store in America. That is the protocol. I purchased a gun from Dean Forest Road Guns and Ammo for my husband. It was his Christmas present. When I purchased the gun, Hank and Steve were extremely helpful. However, the first time the gun was used, it jammed - the very first time. We took it back and asked for a refund or to trade it for a gun that works. We were told no. Then we asked that they repair the gun. We were told no. They proceeded to tell us that we would have to send it back to the manufacturer - that they have absolutely nothing to do with repairing guns. When we said that they should back their products and help with the problem, they said that once the gun is purchased, it's no longer their problem. Wow. Horrible, horrible customer service. Oh yeah, to top it off, my friend bought the same exact gun for her husband and it also jammed the very first time it was used. When they tried to return the gun, they were treated exactly the same. These guys are rude. They got snappy with me for asking basic questions related to making a transaction. Their store has a very seedy feel (a cross between a yard sale and pawn shop) to it even though it isn't in a seedy part of town. They quoted me a slightly better price than the more professional gun shop down the street but based on my experience there, I will happily pay the higher price at the other store. read more

This is by far the most disrespectful establishment I have ever encountered in my 28 years of life. I walked in the store looking for a mil-spec buffer tube to go on my rifle and the older gentleman informed me that if I was to open my eyes I would clearly see that they did not have any. So I asked him if he had any nickel boron bolt carrier groups and he informed me that he just told me that they do not have anything I'm looking for. So I stopped dealing with him and I went then grab a grip to go on my rifle and went to the younger lady behind the desk to check out. I asked her did they have any military discount because I am a retired disabled veteran. He interrupted my conversation to tell me that he did not give any discounts to anyone for anything period so I proceeded to put the grip back on the display because I was not going to give him my money. As I was walking out the door he told me that I did not have any money anyways period I have never been disrespected like that in my entire life. Not only do they not have anything you're looking for their prices are disrespectfully High. Stay away from this establishment at all cost. I am now going to Patrick's uniforms to buy my part that I need for my rifle. The customer service there is some of the best customer service around and not only that if you buy something from them they will install it for free.
