I talked to them and made an appointment about 5 weeks out so I could drop the gun off and have a somewhat reasonable turnaround time. I guess this was lost on them because when I dropped the gun off, I was told it would still be weeks before they could get to working on it. I was slightly annoyed about that since this was the whole reason in waiting to drop the gun off, but whatever, there busy and I get it. When I initially spoke with them and when I dropped the gun off, I was clear that I wanted wooden dowels inserted into both pieces of the stock and the remaining gap filled to make it a solid piece again. When I come to pick it up it looks like a terrible fix in my opinion and they said they inserted metal slivers (like nails) into both ends and epoxied them. I was not very happy about this fix, but when I questioned them about this, they said they believed it to be the best course of action to fixing it. It looked very cheaply done and flimsy to me, the stock actually bends at the separation when the front band is not in place to secure it to the barrel, but the "fix" was already done and they supposed to be professionals so I let it go. I also asked about having the wood touched up slightly to blend a light-colored spot from where the stock had been taped together for years, but it was not done and when I asked about this upon pickup, I was told how to do it myself. Again, I was slightly annoyed, but I just wanted my rifle back so I didn't push the issue. The thing that really upsets me though is after getting back home and looking the rifle over a little more closely you can clearly see where when they were trying to fix the rifle the front band was pushed too far down onto the barrel/stock and gouged the wood on either side. And then to get the front band back off it looks as if a mallet or something was used to hammer it back off and damaged the front band along with put a small gouge in part of the barrel. I have attached an older picture of before the "repair" was done and it is slightly blurry zoomed in, but you can clearly see the gouges were not there. I would highly recommend taking your rifle somewhere else if possible

Dick's had put out a flyer offering 2 types of Schwinn bikes at 50% off. The problem is their website and store didn't have the same offer. After contacting their customer service, I had a note offering a "price match" in which they honored the 50% price. A special call-out to Chris Campbell, one of their service technicians, who did an excellent job adjusting the gears and brakes during the safety check. He did a great job explaining the safe operation and maintenance of the bike. As a precaution, I took out their warranty for the free tune up and safety inspections. Check out was quick and easy.

Precision firearms performed work on my Glock 45. I had the slide milled for an RMR footprint and…read morerequested a basic Glock trigger job. I was given an estimate of 6-8 weeks until completion. The job was complete in about 8 weeks. I found the prices reasonable, and the staff was courteous. The slide milling was outstanding, a perfect fit. A layer of cerakote was added to the slide, something I was unaware would happen. One side of the slide looks a bit sloppy, as the the cerakote appears to have gathered in small groups (similar to when one applies too much spray paint to a surface without allowing the layers to dry). I identified an issue with the trigger reset, but this was quickly addressed by the gunsmith at no cost to me. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and recommend this store to those in the Savannah area. Support local businesses!

They took the time to research the specific dimensions of the product I wanted installed, consulted me on what changes I could expect from the firearm when it was complete, and got it done. It was a friendly and secure environment and to my knowledge the staff and owners are all veterans with years of experience with firearms. Yesterday (less than 24 hours ago) I purchased 3 boxes of ammunition for appx $70 to shoot my HR218…read morequalification. During the course of 25 round fire 4-5 rounds didn't fire. One round took 3 primer strikes and still didn't fire. I returned to the store immediately after the course of fire with the ammunition and the round that took 3 primer strikes. Their gunsmith took the round in a brand new firearm and confirmed it didn't fire and it was a manufacturers defect. He fired my weapon and confirmed it was functioning correctly. I asked for a refund and they said we have to give you the "used ammo price on new boxes of ammunition. 1/2 price of what I paid less than 24 hours prior. This is poor customer service. This is a product that could be the difference between life and death in a situation. 1st time customer. Last time customer. I would avoid this store at all costs. It could cost you more than just 1/2 your money back. It could cost your life.
