My pump is still running fine after I was told I needed to replace it several years ago. The problem was a leak, not the pump. There was a trainee that told me it was a leak and he was rebuked by the trainer. I don't trust them. Thank goodness I didn't buy a new pump. read more

If only there's ZERO star, this is by far the WORST pump company in the area and I think in the WORLD!!!! This is a con business and believe me I will report them to the BBB as well. Two years ago, we had them installed a brand new pump $1600 USD. This month our storage tank's bladder gave up we called them to install a new tank $1300 USD, after we gave them the check, the two technicians said the pump they installed 2 yrs ago is on borrowed time, this 2 yr old pump !!!!!! I told them how can that be they just installed this new pump in 2019. The 2 technicians said call the office and have them send out the manager to check it. He came few hours later and he told us the pump has a SHORT, and we just had to watch it for now and also he said our well is not GOOD. Today I called them because the pump is now rattling and there's no water pressure AT ALL!!!! The girl that answered the phone have the nerve to tell me, my pump issue is not a priority to them and they only have 4 technicians and 2 of them are on a job and the other 2 called in sick today!!!!! EXCUSE Me But my water issue is more important to me, you had no problem cashing my check, but when I call for the problems that your company created.....and you have no one to come. Dearman I do not need your service at all....for I have called the REAL pump company in the area and they have came out and GUESS WHAT They found out the pressure switch was not set up probably by Dearman's tech and that was the issue ! Thank goodness for them I now have water pressure and also found out there is no issue with the pump and the well. Seems to me Dearman should invest some money on teaching their technicians how to do the job probably and also you need someone with customer service skills to handle your customers concerns the right way. Redding has a way of breeding the most unreliable, rude, unprofessional people. We had an appointment at 10:00 am. At 12:00 we called to check in the status. Instead of an apology, we were yelled at (I'm not joking, the woman yelled at us) that she was try her best, she can't get someone out here, and other excuses. It has been two weeks and we have still not heard from them. Do yourself a favor and watch a YouTube video to figure it out yourself... or hire some in from Red Bluff. Run...run as fast as you can. Overcharged, installed used equipment without our approval or knowledge, and we had to have the whole thing redone by another company a month later. The only reason we know he installed used equipment is because we got E Coli in our water and had to have 2 other contractors come out. That's how we knew. After our house burned down we had Dearman come in 3 years ago and install all the new components. The air tank and control box had a 5 year warranty. Last week they went our and I could not get Dearman to call me back. I had no water anywhere to yard animals or house so called another company (heitman) to come get me water. After a week of calling to find out if they could help me get the tank warrantied he tells me I voided the warranty when I let someone else work on it. Which I only did because no one would call me back. Run the other way!! read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Horrible customer service. We purchased a new pump from them in August of 2019. It stopped working- no water. My husband and I have 4 children plus my MIL living with us. Not to mention our pets. I called to have a tech come out at 2PM and was told someone would come out either that night or in the morning. I called in the morning to confirm a time and was told that the technicians were being dispatched out and someone would be out to us soon. About an hour later I received a call back stating, that no one would be able to come out for a few days. Super annoying that this was not known when I called the first time or the second time. The warranty with them expired, only a manufacturer warranty for defect was available. My husband called to get a better understanding of why we were receiving such terrible customer service since we spent over $5000.00 on a new pump. The call was passed to what we believe was the owner who told my husband he was a D**k, the warranty expired and to F**k off. Customer service is key to running a successful business and they have failed miserably. read more

Dearman pump installed old, used, damaged materials. Wrong sized wiring, etc, etc etc, everything was wrong. We made an appointment with Ron Dearman to come inspect the work that his company was putting out,  he never showed up for the meeting. We had to hire another company to undo what Dearman pump did and do the work correctly. That is quite costly. Ron collected a large sum of money in advance. (Which is illegal). Then continued to request more money even after another company came in and redid the job. Do not make the same mistake!!! Do not pay him anything in advance!! No matter what story Ron gives as a reason for needing money. This was a new well, not a repair. Ron sent a new, untrained employee, that was not licensed or certified in anything. Due to defective materials installed, our new well was contaminated with oil. I was never given a contact. Despite many requests for one. A book could be written on everything that was wrong with this job. Thank goodness I documented everything, with notes and pictures. A complaint was filed with the CSLB. read more

Ron's company sent an employee to a house occupied by a 92 year old man who is taken care of by a Thai woman with broken English. Their well was not working properly. The guy they sent took the top of their well house off, broke the main line from the well (almost killed the girl who speaks broken English), then charged her $700 to break their stuff and leave without putting anything back in place. When I called to have them make it right, I was told to file a lawsuit. I have video of the way everything went down. Now everyone can watch and see when the lawsuit is filed. Well they oversized the system at my old house on antoinette, such that it pulled more 2x as much water was available, resulting in the the pump burning up every 3 years, then at my new house they had replaced the system 2 weeks before i moved in, while the house was in escrow, and would not warranty their work or parts 4 weeks later when the system failed. My well pump started to give way, my water pressure slowed way down so I called Dearman. They came out (twice ) the same day and gave two different diagnoses. One being under 5k of a job and the next being well over 10k and stated I was out of water. They also stated others in the neighborhood had holding tanks installed due to drying up wells that month. Come to find out it was a TOTAL SCAM! Not true by any means. My water table Isn't low and they didn't service anyone in the neighborhood recently due to lack of water. TERRIBLE SCAMS due to the massive want and need for water. What a joke! So glad I did my research and went with another company! I'm sorry for others who didn't. read more

Tech was professional and nice enough, got my system fixed, for 500$ (slightly pricey for what was done but they did it on the weekend) Biggest gripe is the tech took my failed part with out my permission, 5 minutes after he left, he would not bring it back but insisted he take it to turn it in for warrantied replacement. Now 6 weeks later they refuses to give me either the replacement they got or the original. This is a 225$ part that I could have easily repaired. I personally think this was just another way for them to increase their profits I Have experience with 3 other local pump companies and Dearman is not the worst you could choose but, this is last time I will ever use them. If they had not installed the system 6 weeks before my issue I would not have given them a shot. read more

Our water turned a rusty brown color, and no matter what we did, it would not clear. We thought the worst and were worried about the water safety. Called Dearman on word of mouth referral. They were out here quickly. Water was tested, and we had high iron. Given our location, they were surprised we hadnt had this issue before. They looked over all the components of the well to ensure it was all in working order, and let us know what was needed to fix the problem long term. Gave us a quote right there for the fix as well so we can get it done in the future. We were also told a way to help clear it until then, which worked. So thankful for an honest company who is out to help customers, not just take their money. Told us $4000 in parts alone were bad and then took our parts without our knowledge or permission. After days without water we had to go to their house (they no longer have a shop, don't let them lie to you about that either. The phone numbers are forwarded to cell phones) to get our parts back. Got a 2nd opinion. The parts they took were actually good and our well issue was able to be fixed for $1000 including labor within hours that same day. Not to mention none of the parts they said were bad were even the issue. We have now heard they go around town taking good parts from people by telling them they are bad and then reselling them to others. Called these guys to come service our well/creek hybrid system up in Round Mountain. These guys did a great job. Called after hours and I got an answer and was able to schedule for the very next day. John and Scott came up and trouble shot the system quickly and efficiently and really did a great job not only fixing it but walking me through the process and what we need to do in the future to keep it in good condition. They installed a new tank and well pump as soon as we got their estimated price and we okayed it they began working. They finished the job in about 4 hours and we had water running. We have had two wells upgraded with pumps and water softeners. They have worked flawlessly over the years. After moving one of the systems, they came and verified work and corrected the softener system. I will surely use them in the future if needed. They are definitely customer oriented. read more

Dearman Pumps! Trying to get rich sooner rather than later! How? Like charging travel time from Anderson to Bella Vista. Five PVC fittings were charged off at $100. A nice round figure. Tanks that are in a warehouse in California and cost $270 but the cost to you is $680....Plus they charged $190 to put it in a pick up and bring it from Anderson to Bella Vista. Everything gets marked up 30% by his own admission. When I complained Mr. Dearman said he didn't want my personal business or the business of my company anymore. So be it! Really nice until they pay you or you have a situation that they cant fix by tossing water softeners on it. When they took my cash and their softener did nothing to solve the problem, they refused to allow me to return the softener. Ron Dearman's first comment was that they would take it out and give me only $300 on a $2,000 dollar purchase. That is outrageous. I would expect those numbers to be switched but really? Then Ron Dearman told me, "Listen, you will get a lot more with honey than you do with vinegar." An old wise statement that would be the wrong thing to say to someone trying to return merchandise. Business is business - The Dearmans (Lonnie and Ron -the bully) have robbed us = they came and unplugged the water softener and left it at that. Today Ron refused to speak to my husband - hanging up on him after yelling at me. Ron has a hot temper and doesn't care who he intimidates or bullies. Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I am wrong... I wonder why he didn't suggest a softener at the beginning - telling me that we had soft water and didn't need one? I'll start by saying Ron Dearman and his crew are incredible !!!! Last evening, just after 5:00 pm, as I was getting ready to shower as we were having friends over for dinner, I noticed that our water pressure was REALLY low. I immediately headed to the pump house and noticed that I had an error code on the control panel for our variable speed pump. I called Dearman Pumps after hours number and left a msg, less than 5 minutes later Ron Dearman returned my call and said he'd come by in 20 minutes (at the time of my call the Dearman family was having a Christmas party). He arrived, diagnosed the problem, contacted a member of his company to go by the shop and pick up the part, and by 6:30 pm my pump was back up and running. Our guests, who arrived at 6:00, hardly knew that there was an incident occurring on the property, except for the appearance of the Dearman Pump truck on the property. I had dearman come out after getting home from camping with my wife and 3 boys to find the control switch stick open and water log my tank resulting in triggering the relief valve. I work out of town so Monday I talked to Dametra over my wife's speaker phone, he told me the bladder in my fiberglass 120 gallon tank had ruptured and that I needed a new tank, I asked if it could be fixed and he told me it would have to be shipped out and take approx. 2 months. Without a choice really, I cleared him to do what was necessary to get me water. He sold me a brand new 85 gallon tank and we were told that we'd get more water with this one that our last tank. After paying them 1500$ we couldn't run 1 garden hose without the tank draining before the pump would turn on and we would lose water completely. After they made 2 more visits out and me pulling the roof off my pump house so they could plug an air gap (that I was told would fix the problem) and the second guy trying to tell me anything he could so I would just live with it, finally the third trip they sent Dametra back and he reinstalled a new tank exactly the same as my old tank, this time I was home and his story changed dramatically, his b.s. story on the bladder changed and he admitted that I could have had my old tank fixed for approx. 500$ (and not be shipped anywhere). He told me that my wife wanted a new tank till I reminded him that I was the one who cleared the work over her speaker phone. I told them they owed me 1000$ dollars he agreed and said there office would be in touch. I also found out that they had sold my elderly veteran father with Alzheimer disease a new pump in 10/2017 witch he probably didn't need, he passed away shortly after, needless to say I haven't heard a word from them, they cashed the check literally the next day and that's all these criminals care about, so if you want to do business with a company that takes advantage of women and the elderly with Alzheimer's disease then dearman pump are your guys! They will never see another penny from me!!!! read more

Hired Dearman Pump to inspect a well and pump at a house we were looking to purchase. The only thing they told us was the GPS and toxicity report from the county, when we asked about water depth and static water they said they would have to remove the pump and it would cost $500-800 even though we requested this in the original inspection and were quoted $245 for it. They then submitted a quote to fix a faulty wire or potential bad pump for $2000. We then had Sinclair Pump and Electric come test the pump and were given completely different info. Static water level, pump inspection, tank pressure, and well history were all provided for $300. The information Dearman provided about the pump was inaccurate and either falsified or the person that did the inspection was inept. They were more interested in having unneeded work done than provide an accurate report. read more

Our water went out at the same time as the carr fire. We are about 20 miles away from the fire. We had a repair man scheduled to come out at 8 am so we could finally have running water in this 100+ degree heat with our two babies in the house. Seven hours after our scheduled repair, we find out that dearman pump would rather help fire evacuees and they politely told us to do business with someone else. Would not recommend. read more
