I had a pipe break underneath my house. It flooded the entire crawl space I have a home warranty which is worth its weight in gold. They said I had to use XYZ Company which was an incredible terrible ordeal. The guy wouldn't even look at the problem & said there was no access (not true) I called the home warranty company and requested that they send Aments Anytime for a second opinion which they did. We filed a claim through our home warranty and they sent Aments out. Our kitchen sink in our new home was clogged. The person who came out snaked to 50 ft (warranty terms cover up to 125) and said they sealed leaking pipes under the sink. They did respond quickly. However, they didn't seal the pipes completely or correctly and they continued to leak. The 50 ft snake didn't clear the clog and they told the warranty company they would need to clear it through the roof vent, so our claim was rejected and nothing got fixed. We called a different plumber on our own. They snaked to 75 feet and cleared the clog. They did not have to go through the roof. They also sealed our kitchen pipes correctly. I don't know if the person we got didn't care, was just wrong or lied, but nothing got resolved through our warranty because of the plumber's notes. read more

Ben arrived within the time window and was extremely helpful in answering my questions. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. The water heater was bad and needed to be replaced. First, let me say I have not seen this kind of service and assistance in any company in recent memory. We had the gas valve on our water heater go out. It was warrantied. BUT! The company we bought it thru, who I wont mention out of respect to Aments and not bash competitors, Refused to help us. Refused to even return our calls or honor the warranty of the products they sell. This part can ONLY be handled under warranty by a retailer or wholesaler and this other company again refused us. Lori at Aments was so helpful on the phone and worked hard to be able to get the part under warranty and the fastest appointment for installation possible. Not only did they have an earlier opening to come help us out after a few days of no hot water, but when Ryan arrived he arrived with a smile, went to work quickly and efficiently and within no time at all had the old valve out and new one in, lit and on the way to having hot water once again. NEXT!! This was the first time any company I've dealt with, came in UNDER THE QUOTE which was already incredibly reasonable. Saving us even more time and money and told us with the same smile as the original quote. Tell me you have had that happen to you by any company?? I would recommend Aments to anyone in a heart beat and hopefully no one will encounter the sleezy company I had the misfortune of buying the heater from 5 yrs ago and left us high, dry and in the cold....Thank you Aments very much!! read more
