I'll give a second star for the pretty flowers but the woman there had such an attitude. You have to put your bad day aside, you can't put that onto your customers. And if your day is that bad then have your other employee help me. Though neither of them smiled at me or wanted to help me. It felt like she was judging me right away, was short with me ("like I already asked you"). They didn't even greet me when I walked in, she looked at me but I had to be the one to say hi even though no one else was in there. Most flowers are pricey these days so not sure if that's just them but I did feel they were slightly overcharging me. Again, most of the issue was with how I felt walking out of there. Debra's Flowers just did the arrangements for my mother's funeral. My mother was an avid gardener and in every place she lived she would transform the landscape with trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs. I went over this with Debra and asked her to create something special and unique for my mother and she did this brilliantly. My mother looked like she was taking a nap in a summer garden, complete with both cut flowers and live plants, topiary tree, herbs and unique creations. Debra's Florist went above and beyond to help me on their busiest day of the year -- Valentine's Day. My daughter's mother-in-law was being moved from the hospital to a hospice home in Holliston. My daughter wanted to have flowers AND balloons delivered to the hospice home so her mother-in-law could enjoy them. The balloons are a signature gift from my daughter. Debra's Florist not only delivered the flowers, but they sourced the helium balloons, picked them up, and then delivered them BEFORE the patient arrived at Hospice. Having seen examples of her work at a friend's house, I chose Debra's Flowers to design the handheld bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding. I had a meeting with Debra to discuss plant material and colors; I also showed her photos of arrangements that I particularly liked. Then she worked her magic and I was thrilled with the results! I was appalled at the poor quality of flowers sent to a funeral home on my behalf. The arrangement was inferior and did not represent the photo displayed nor the money spent. I like supporting local businesses so I was very excited to see the new place next to my favorite farm stand. First the woman was rude. Second I asked for the price on a bunch of tulips. She said $18, really, really do I look stupid. You give me attitude then quote me some totally absurd price on tulips. I'll take my weekly flower buy back to Winston's in Wellesley. read more

I was disappointed enough that I want to share my experience and make sure others don't undergo the same one. I have often ordered through Debra's even when I could have gone to an online, cheaper service, and it puzzles me how they don't acknowledge the fact that there are many choices now for customers, and if you order fro a local florist, and allow them to take a commission on an order that otherwise you could make directly for less $, they should be nice to you, and show appreciation, and be flexible, and... you know, treat you like a customer? Oh my. Well a couple of times I had to laugh when they would say that they were too busy at the moment, or would not make a delivery to the next town until a day after "because they had already been there today,", but the killer was when I ordered a live plan delivered and explained carefully to the owner that I did not want orchids, and gave her all the reasons for it. Lo and behold... that's exactly what was delivered. And when I called, she said "I did not order an orchid." No probably she did not, but clearly she did nt bother to specify that it should not be an orchid. Small detail. Never got an apology even though I had been a good customer. Emphasis on the past tense. I am not going there any longer. Lesson learned. If I shop in person, at a local shop, leaving aside the opportunity to do it cheaper and faster oline, I expect to be treated well, thanked, and, to have my requests followed. Too much to ask? I guess. So if you shop there make sure you are very very very clear about what you want delivered. And make sure the delivery fits their schedule. read more

It's a shame I can only give 5 stars, both the service and arrangement I received deserve a lot more! I went in at the beginning of the month needing a very specific arrangement for my mother on a day that is not easy for my family. The woman who helped me didn't bat an eyelash at being put on the spot and created an amazing gift for my mom. I had tears in my eyes when I saw what she came up. Mom said they were the most beautiful flowers she had ever seen and was actually sorry they weren't fake. I will go here whenever I need flowers, however I will give them more time to work with in future!! read more

Nice little florist in downtown Holliston, right behind Pejamajo's. Asked for a bouquet to be put together on short notice and they did so without any problems. The flowers were all very nice and they even gave a free rose to a preschooler in tow. Prices were about what you'd expect them to be. read more

I received two separate deliveries from Debra's flowers. My family member and a friend both sent me a small arrangement in small glass square based containers two years apart. I'm certain they spent good money on them but the quality on the arrangements where pathetic. One I got for Christmas and it had a pitiful amount of flowers in it and the second was for sympathy over my father's passing and the flowers looks thrown into the small vase...some of the flowers needed some rearranging as they were falling out because the stem was cut too short. Save yourself the money and embarrassment and go to SUNNYSIDE flowers in Hopkinton instead (I don't work there but their work is amazing)! read more
