We had our son's birthday party at Deb's Family Disco last month. We've never taken the time to write a review online but felt everyone should know what a positive experience we had! Our child (8) had the best party of his life. His friends did too! They danced from the beginning of the party right up until the end. What struck us most is that the owner of the business, led the festivities herself and made sure everyone was comfortable and had a great time. From the dancers, DJ, servers it was an amazing day. Deb asked in advanced for our child's favorite songs. He loves new music and had every song he requested played. He also got to have a "Dance Off" with his friends. Every parent got on the dance floor instead of just sitting and talking on the couches. There was something for everyone. We've never been to a birthday party that really was for the whole family and every child got to enjoy their family too while being with their friends. My 10 year old couldn't decide what to do for her birthday until she herself (no help from me!) found Deb's Family Disco online. She fell in love with the look of the club, a truly beautiful discotheque-- great high ceilings, fantastic swirling lights, richly upholstered banquets. She probably get to a venue like this again until her wedding! Anya's a girl who knows her mind and she got on the phone with Deb who was happy to spend quite a great deal of time listening to her every song request, exactly how she envisioned her cake, and the special "pronouncement" Anya had dreamt up for the DJ to say with her opening procession. (In the end the party team really did follow through on every single one of those special requests.) I don't think I've ever seen my daughter so happy as when she and all her gal pals got on the mike and sang their hearts out to All The Single Ladies. (They'd each been given a fanciful light-up ring especially for the song.) When I booked Benjamin's 2nd birthday at Family Disco I had a great deal of trepidation because I had such a motley guest list of toddlers from his playgroup, big sibs at the age when they think they're too cool and a lot of adult friends too. But it turned out to be a HUGE success! What's amazing is how this Family Disco really works for all ages. My son and his little toddling buddies had a ball bopping to the beat and the big ones were totally in their element singing in the mike and dancing up on stage. And wouldn't you know it, who had the most of fun of all? Us grownups who danced our hearts out! Deb and the team (about 5 dancers, DJ, MC) went out of their way to make Benjamin and our family feel really special. They're a truly warm group of people who seem to genuinely love what they do. We hired Debs Disco to entertain a group of 4 and 5 year olds at my daughter's birthday party on the roof top of a hotel in NYC. AMAZING party thanks to Deb and her staff! Coordinating with Deb was an amazingly easy process and her suggestions were a big hit! Everyone loved the light up tiaras, microphones, disco ball necklaces, and other favors the staff gave out during the party. We ordered our cake through her which was first quality and everyone loved the fireworks on the cake. The staff was truly energetic and fun and the fact they kept the kids occupied for so long was great~!...It was so much fun that most all the adults participated. We were so happy to receive a CD of the dance songs so we can dance at home and always remember the event. A great big THANK YOU! To Deb and her staff! My 6 year old loves dancing, so on her birthday me and my husband decided to treat her with the most special birthday party she has had so far. For that we contacted the only dance party planner we know, Deb. She met my little one and noted down all her wishes and agreed to fulfil it all in our not so expensive budget. To my surprise, even though the place was small and packed with the tables and decorations, it was arranged beautifully with attention given to all the details requested by my daughter. The dance floor was the favorite part not only for the kids but the parents too. We had a great time following the moves of the dance instructor and watching the kids roll into laughter. The food was great, it included small pizzas, colorful sandwiches, patties, chips, juices etc everything a kid of that age group would love. My daughter turned 7 this year and requested a "Rock & Roll" birthday party. While I thought it would present as a challenging event, Deb's Family disco made it the exact opposite! They were great! They were very professional from appearance all the way to an on time arrival! Their set up transformed a patio to an outdoor disco. Her staff was great with the children as far as engaging them in dancing and playing the air guitars. It was definitely wort every dime! Deb has amazing resources that will help with a successful party from wardrobe to party give - aways that appear to be as reliable and produce a spectacular product as she does. Five Stars for Family Disco! Hosted my son's birthday last week which was a huge success. The boys had a ball doing the Cha Cha Slide, playing freeze dance and limbo, singing on the mike, playing air guitar on their 4 ft long inflatable guitars. The disco is delightful looking with lots of multi-colored spinning disco ball lights and sparkly fabrics. His cake came with a huge sparkler that thrilled the kids. Parents loved the chocolate fountain (and we loved dancing too!). I appreciate the way the staff was so genuinely friendly and fun, putting disco ball necklaces on the grown ups too when we came in. Party favor bags are extra but I felt they were excellent value for the money. Yes, I would definitely recommend this party with 5 stars! read more

We had Deb's Family Disco for our son's 6 year old birthday. It probably could be more fun if the party were to be at Deb's disco venue. Since the venue was closed for the summer, we had it at our own home. I really can't ask for better turnout. Thank you Deb for sending such WONDERFUL team to our party. Everyone had a great time. I think everyone here was impressed with Jacob the MC, the color hair spray and face gem artist and pop corn from the original pop corn machine. It was positively fun, fun, fun. i don't know how we are going to top that and imagine, my son is only six! i certainly will think of Deb's Family Disco again and recommend it to parents with young kids. read more

Deb and the Disco Family are absolutely amazing! I have never seen such a lively party - for kids! I think we have all been to a few children's parties where we, as adults, are waiting around waiting for it to finish but NOT HERE! I danced with my husband for the first time in probably years, I danced with my sister and friends and best of all I got a few dances in with my kids when they weren't surrounded by their friends! In very short order Deb was able to help us, parents of a graduating fifth grade class, organize a party for the kids. She found the venue, caterer, dj and a dance instructor to get the kids going. The kids loved it and the parents enjoyed a party of their own at the club while the kids partied in the room below. the price was great but the staff, food, music and generally the whole function went off according to plan; that is to say exactly what Deb committed. read more
