I came in to buy some shells and politely asked the clerk if she could wrap them in a little extra bubble wrap since we were heading on a trip to Las Vegas and needed to protect them. Her response was rude and dismissive, flat out refusing. The bubble wrap was sitting right in front of her, which made her attitude even more incomprehensible. These are delicate and expensive items, and such a complete lack of willingness to help leaves a very bad impression. I would love to recommend them based on their selection, but the service needs a major improvement.

I recently bought there a Swedish dish towel of a fun map of Florida and it does a great job of washing dishes by hand. Also a charming pack of cards with 2 turquoise seahorses with a center of a floral arrangement with a vase by the artist Rosanne Beck. One of the best stores in downtown 5th Avenue. The owner Sheryl is very professional and helpful. Also asked me if I needed anything to be gift wrapped. My friend Chrissy also bought a notebook for a gift for her husband which I helped her pick out. As my friend and I left the store, we were completely amazed at the store and Sheryl. We were saying geez she is so cool, her hair, makeup and clothes are impeccable. So we turned around to go back to tell her. Thank you so much!

The store is a bit bigger than most shops and the better of the merchandise are the t-shirts and sweatshirts. They were of better design and quality without being too expensive. By better design, I mean the shirts were not cheesy or super touristy. It does not look like you got the shirt at a giveaway. The designs and cuts were just enough to say casual beach wear and if you wanted to stock up for gift giving it won't break the bank. There are shells to buy in the back of the store as well. Sand dollars were in good condition and they have a good variety of smaller colorful shells too. Good people working there as I was not pressured to buy something. But no, instead he chose to use the time I was in the store to say Naples doesn't tolerate any trouble, and began to praise a Sheriff from the neighboring area Grady Judd as shooting a man 67 times, and when the media asked the sheriff why they shot him 67 times, the sheriff replied because they ran out of bullets. And he was proud of this story, and as he told to me he smiled and felt good. Why he chose to tell me this, me, on vacation with my family is beyond me but I took it as a threat and I would advise any person with any shade of melatonin to avoid going to the store, unless you want to experience some very slippery underhanded racism. In hindsight, the scents must be phenomenal, as they have this jerk mining the store, and it's said opposites attract...
