I highly recommend Glenda for any estate sale you might be considering. My mother's house, sadly, was heavily cluttered and in disrepair. From the beginning, Glenda was undaunted. She jumped in to clean, uncover and inventory valuable items, price the items, and organized/staged them in an appealing and buyer-efficient way. Through Glenda's significant experience, she was able to balance both sides of an estate sale. As the client, I had multiple goals, including earning money, clearing the house to prepare for its sale, and closing a chapter of my family's life on an uplifting note, knowing that my mother's belongings were making other's happy. For the buyers, their goal is to get things they really want and if their are willing to take a little risk, get those items at further discounted prices as the sale progresses over multiple days. Glenda met all those goals. The proceeds from the sale exceeded all expectations, with the vast majority of items sold (the rest to charity), and the uplifting closure we were looking for. And while there are always a few ornery buyers who want deep discounts on day 1, the vast majority of buyers (hundred of them a day) left each day with very happy smiles on their faces. Lastly, Glenda doesn't operate alone. She surrounds herself with a regular team that knows Glenda's process inside and out, executes its role flawlessly, and treated the sale with the respect and dignity it deserved. I found a lovely patchwork quilt that I liked and realized I had left my wallet in my car so I asked the saleswoman at the front desk if I could set it down somewhere while I went to my car. She pointed to some bins behind and I put it in one and went to get my wallet. When I looked to see what I had in my wallet, I realized I was going to be a little short so wouldn't be able to make the purchase. Now not ever having used the bins before at this company, I was not aware they had a rigid rule about not being able to put things back once they are in the bin. So I go over and grab the quilt to put it back where I got it from and as I'm walking back, the saleswoman very tersely said "Mam! Where are you going with that! You cannot put that back, you MUST purchase it!" Before I could even address her she stormed off in a fit so I just went to put it back. When I came back, I simply said "I don't understand" she begins to chew me out in front of a house full of people, completely humiliating me and belittling me - I was just flabbergasted at the epic rudeness. I told her I had come to their company many times before and said I had bought many things and simply did not know about this rule. She was so rude and so unprofessional with me I was just stunned at how mean she was. She yelled "Well if you've come here before than you should know all our rules!"....I couldn't believe how unpleasant and awful she was. i just felt so confused and baffled at the weird level of hostility toward me. I had never even talked to her before. They are hostile, rude, unfriendly and I would never recommend them to anyone. Steer clear of this horrible company. I will never shop with them again. Maybe they need to train their staff a little better in how to deal with people in a professional and tactful way instead of being so hostile and off putting! Good riddance to this company!

Doug spent numerous hours setting up and organizing everything many weeks in advance. Yet he was so considerate of my parents who were still in the house. He was very accommoding and flexible to their needs. I was able to watch all of the work online which was great since I live out of state. He posted detailed photos of each item so I could watch the progress unfold. He cleaned/polished everything so well, I didn't even recognize the items when he was finished with them. He did the impossible in de-cluttering 30 years' worth of personal items in a two-story house. We witnessed firsthand the lines of customers (and cars) waiting an hour before the opening each day in anticipation of the sale. At the end of the sale?
