Warren was very responsive and professional. I will happily do business again with him in the future.

I wish I couldn't even give one star. I am amazingly disappointed. I handed over the remains of my…read moreparent's estate to these people, thinking it was in good hands. I have waited at least a week before I received my first check before posting this, I just wanted to calm down and be fair on my review. First of all, I was dealing with this by myself so I was happy to hear that they would come pick the items up as opposed to me bringing them in. It was explained to me, by doing that, they would take 40%. I was fine with that. I was not fine when it was a husband and wife team that showed up with no other help. I helped them carry everything to the truck. If you're going to take 40%, I don't really feel I should have done that, but fine. When I initially spoke with the owner, I specifically asked ( given this was my first time to have to deal with anything like this) "You guys don't start the bidding at $1 or something like that do you?" He told me not to worry, I believe that he used the analogy of, " Bidding is like drinking, when people have one they just want to keep going." I told them the value of several things that I was giving them and that if they had any questions to call me. It was a month before I picked up my first check. I had called a couple times and either my call was not returned or it seemed that I was bothering them. They were definitely not as friendly as they were when they came to the house. When I actually showed up to the business to pick up my check, the woman that I spent 3 hours giving my parent's estate to and chatting with acted like she didn't know me and I was completely interrupting her day. I will put it this way, the check I received was not even the value of one of the clocks they took. I consigned so many items that we filled the truck the first night and they had to come back the next day. I was also initially told by the owner that I had the option of donating the remainder of items that did not sell. I was fine with that, seemed like a stellar cause. However, once we loaded the truck up and the paperwork was signed, I was told that I did not have that option because if they pick it up it's theirs regardless. TO BE FAIR AND HONEST, I was never promised anything. I was under the assumption that these were professionals and knew their trade. Turns out, I made a poor choice in the business I chose to handle my parent's estate. That is why I'm leaving this review. For anyone that is considering this establishment, do your research. I'm simply saying, if I had it to do over again, ( which I don't because I gave it all to them), I would definitely not choose this company. Harsh lesson learned. Find a company with more reviews, including stated reviews without the last name of the owners. I will continue to share this on social media sites. Not because I want to hurt or damage this business, but because I feel it's important that if there is anyone out there that is doing this alone and for the first time...be educated and make the right choice. My opportunity to learn and do it differently the next time ended with this company.

God forbid anyone have any kind of delay in pickup, these people are a real class act when it comes to common human decency. They own a storage shed about 18 x 30 and refuse to give items if after 1 week. I would recommend ebay or davis auctions or even k & b auction house before these people. Hope that helps.

When buying, pay…read morevery close attention to description and details, as they knowingly take minimal and bad photographs and include next to nothing in their descriptions. They have twice sold fake Rolex watches for over $1000 as "unknown authenticity" even after I told them that I collect watches and the ones they had for sale were fake. They also sell other known reproduction Rolex watches which is illegal. The Rolex is just an example of other less than ideal selling approaches. And when they say as-is, assume what you are buying is junk! I bought 6 Beyond Bright garage lights As-Is and not a single one worked. That's $80 down the drain. Not illegal, but incredibly unprofessional. I also tried selling with them once, and the pictures were terrible and several of the descriptions I asked them to use were not used and ones they wrote were not right and misspelled.

When I asked for a refund the seller basically blamed me for the whole transaction. He was super rude on the phone and very condescending. Then he threatened me with court if I wrote any reviews!! I found out yesterday they ripped me off for the shipping charges too. Found out they overcharged my by $30 on that. Just type in Auction Depot Ft Worth Texas reviews or rip off and see what comes up. This place is BAD NEWS!!!

A SPARKLING GEM of Fort Worth! I absolutely am a proud art nerd for finding out about this sweet…read moreart space in this beautiful city. This is a small-scale art museum that showcases a few artists' work at a time. It is free of cost too, which makes this a must see. I went during the last day of Ben Willis' Candy Man exhibit and WOW was it cavity inducing. I like how they feature local creative minds, too. Organic, haha jkjk. But it's lovely seeing the variety of styles they rotate in each exhibition. The entire layout of the studio has several rooms around a tall, modern white space. It is visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The curators and owners of the space are very friendly and even offered us a refreshment while we were looking around. Of course, being an exhibition, every piece is for sale. Each artist even has an opening and closing event AKA party where you can definitely peruse the museum and potentially buy some artworks. I like the intimate dynamic as an outsider here to be able to mingle with the artist and surrounding community. You don't have to be a full-on art nerd to appreciate this quirky place! Outside, there's even a huge mural of a vortex-looking abstract ringed monstrosity done by the talented Hoxxoh which I dig so much! Go snap a photo with it before it goes away. So, parking is a tad tight here. I believe you have to fight over ~8 spots, so come here at an odd time and weekday and NOT during one of the events and you'll definitely be accommodated. Definitely come as the artists rotate! A super cool way to spend a day in the culture district while supporting the sweet Ft. Worth arts district.

Fort Works Art is a small shining piece of glory off a not so main road in Downtown Ft. Worth. The modern/contemporary vibe drew me in and I will definitely be back. Did I mention, it is Free. I went during the Duets 2.0 viewing and I was definitely not disappointed. While you're in the Fort Worth arts district make sure to take a trip to Fort Works Art.
