She treated my injury and my body as a whole and her body work and massage are amazing! She focused on helping me recover completely and trying to improve my health overall. I've since come to her to treat a little case of "travelers gut" that I picked up on vacation, which she treated with affordable herbs and practical biology. He either spends the time telling me that I need to exercise, and stretch more (instead of working on the task at hand), or venting political frustrations at me (for a chiro appointment? C'mon!). After an uncomfortable, abrupt, and pokey massage with a massage gun, and a couple unsuccessful attempts at making my back crack, he told me that he wasn't able to do anything because I wasn't loose enough (but that he'd be charging the fee, regardless). I basically paid $40 to get told that I'm fat and that I should stretch more. That it's my fault that he was ineffective at his job. The appointment was only 30 minutes. Other chiropractors that I've seen will put a heated pad on me, to loosen the muscles, before making adjustments. After adjustments are made, I'll usually get a follow up massage, or electrical therapy. I just don't think that I Jallo cares to take the time. I'm curious about how many people he sends away, telling them they it's their fault that he wasn't able to do anything. I gave him 2 stars because he's inexpensive, and was able to see me right away. He's inexpensive, but, then again, you get what you pay for. I won't be returning for a follow up visit. Maybe you'll have more luck than I did.

After about 2 sessions we were able to talk about subjects that used to make my muscles tense, and my brain distract automatically, with a new sense of ease and comfort. Stacie has a warm, and inviting energy, a clean studio, and a very kind heart. She is generous, and intuitive in all of the right ways, and continues study relevant to her practice, and our times. Stacie's needling technique is extremely gentle, and accurate, she likes to incorporate stones, and occasionally oils if you like. I haven't picked up a cigarette in over four months now, the smell even repulses me, wen though I recall enjoying it even as a child. If I could give a ten star review I would, I highly recommend Stacie for acupuncture, Gua Sha, and cupping. The studio is always clean, quiet, and friendly. There is also tea in the waiting room which is an excellent bonus.

I was especially thrilled to find a local acupuncturist with familiarity in scalp acupuncture, as I have had great luck with that in improving my mobility and strength, as I have a diagnosis of Arthrogryposis. Her prices are very fair, her office is clean, comforting, and smells nice, making an appointment is quick and easy, and she even works with a specialized insurance biller to explore your coverage. Stacey is a rare Humboldt gem, and I highly recommend her.

I experienced a set back in week 5-6 due to added issues from both lifelong scoliosis and past injuries which complicated my condition somewhat. Jack helped my tendinitis disappear after many visits (started to get more and more spaced out between visits and only went back for "maintenance"). I saw Mona Lisa Perez for a few weeks prior to my microdiscectomy surgery and for 8 weeks after I was healed enough to resume PT. She is so, so skilled in in her field. She noticed and addressed things not just related to my lower back and having just completed my time with her, I legitimately feel stronger and like I'm more in control of my muscles and body movements. She was also delightful to work with - very personable and I often found myself laughing during our sessions. Crossing my fingers that I'll never need to return to PT again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to see Mona Lisa again.

The problem is that I paid upfront for both sessions and then my insurance company paid them as well. And they kept all the money. I complained and they responded with some BS about in-network/out-of-network, it's the insurance company's fault. No, it's simple. I paid them and then they kept my reimbursement from the insurance company. It's 7 weeks since the last appointment. It's clear I'm not getting my money back. It was just $185, so there's no legal option really. I'm just concerned that another client might not notice before they're out of a lot more money. James M. replied that they told me they were not accepting my insurance. Not true. They took all my information and said they would file the claims and see if they were accepted. James M. claimed that they cut ties with the insurance company in Sept. (I still have the email), If so, why did they file the claims in Dec. and Jan.? The insurance company did not accidentally pay James M.'s business. They filed the claims and my insurance company paid them to James M.'s business. And they didn't mention that to me.
