Said he would be out to fix our dryer and called the next day to say he couldn't make it. He continued to say he could come out a day later. He calls that day and has another excuse for why he can't come over... Just say you have no time or know how to work on certain dryers. No one likes to be led on. I left a message for him, hoping that he might contact me even though it was the weekend. He called within an hour and said he'd be here Monday afternoon, which he was. I have been meaning to write this review since February! Extremely disappointed with service I received . Mr. Decher arrived,opened my refrigerator door and said computer board was not working! I asked if the problem may be the relay or capacitator and perhaps he should check those . He did not check anything. But quickly told me that his fee today would be $79.95 and that I should buy a new refrigerator. I did my research purchased relay and capacitator for less than $100 and fixed my refrigerator myself. He obviously was not interested in helping me just there for $79.95 quick fee. read more

Mr Decher came to fix my GE dishwasher. He determined it was the user interface and asked for $100 to cover the part. He came back, installed the interface but did not know that the interface had to have its personality set to the specific machine ( although the part is supposed to come with specific instructions ). He left me with a non-working machine. read more

Called him about a maytag dryer. I was working a lot of hours at the time. I tested everything myself including replacing the two coils the day before he came. It was my own fault because the dryer reacted the same way as before I replaced the coils. He came replaced them and charged me $160. Bought coils myself online for $26. Try to help a local guy this is what they do. Do not get this guy to repair anything. read more

TERRIBLE experience. Decher talks and talks forever but does not listen! Refrigerator needed diagnosing, tenant not native English speaker with little understanding of mechanical things - to them, everything with a problem 'is broken', even if its just a thermostat on a wall that needs new batteries. I know my tenants, a good family with young children who couldn't afford to buy all new food. I needed a professional to diagnose the problem in person - I know my tenants! He gave me his word he'd be out the next day, and instead told my tenants to do a series of things they couldn't understand. He upset the heck out of my tenant, who didn't understand, and broke his promise, instead telling me I 'most likely' needed a new fridge without even looking at it, but relying on my low-English skill tenant, which was the whole reason I needed a professional to diagnose it! He didn't want to take the trouble to come out when he promised he would. This guy is a nightmare who likes the sound of his own voice more than making money, I guess. Avoid at all costs! read more
