So I brought a client here to select and purchase high end Thermador kitchen appliances. The sales process went smoothly but when we found a few minor defects that needed some very small replacements, it was like pulling teeth without novocaine. They gave us SUCH a hard time over a couple hundred dollars of spare parts after we spend about $40K with them. I never went back here and I do not recommend them. read more

These guys helped me out in a big way to repair a propane stove for a friend in NY state , I live in Seattle . They arrived on time with plenty of notice about the service call, fixed it quickly and had the part on the truck , price was reasonable and although it was a late model which could have taken months to get service from the manufacturer, they agreed to get it done as I explained my friend had been without a working stove for six months and was also being treated for Cancer... Very pleased with this family owned appliance center. I had previously purchased my washer and drier from them and decide to return again. Everything went as promised-the phone calls before to confirm delivery and the day of to give me the 2 hour window which turned out to be less than an hour. Today my new double stove was delivered. Roger and. Bobby were extremely careful bringing out the old stove and bringing in the new one. Used several levels to be sure the stove was properly adjusted and were great answering my questions. Just had a new dishwasher installed by Dave and John, the deliverers from Feiden. They were fast, did a great job, and didn't make a mess of the work. The dishwasher had been ordered at the store, where we got great service and were shown the various models. We also explored other products for possible future purchases, and the salesperson gave us a lot of information about the items. He even heated a pan of water to demonstrate how induction stovetops work. The only downside was the delay in receiving the dishwasher. It turned out to be a supply chain issues; nothing the store could do about that. All in all, a great experience. read more

They went above and beyond to install my refrigerator, making sure it was level and that all the doors and drawers moved correctly. Very nice guys. It was a pleasure to have them in my home. Not to be recommended in our opinion. Haven't taken care of burner issue to our satisfaction. The seller says there is no problem but we feel there is since center of burner won't stay lit (wished I could post a video of the problem), goes on and off (flickers) every couple of seconds which is irritating at best but worse is the outside of pan gets heated quickly but center of pan not. The 'simmer' setting does not work at all. read more

UPDATE --- Bradley from Earl B Fraud responded with feigned concern to the complaints, and requested I amend my ACCURATE review before they do anything.... As a Yelper, I assured I would amend upon taking care of the matter. He danced around it, cited the way the washer was set up as the reason for the machines performance, and advised Lowes would not install the new washer they way they had it.... Lowes came, installed and low and behold, the new washer works fine... Not Earl Be Feine, but actually good. This business shamefully prays on the elderly and does not stand by its product. To be avoided. They bilked hundreds from an elderly couple and left them to deal with a faulty machine. Shame. END UPDATE --- Wow - envious of the 70 year old who finds them the best. My girlfriends 70+ y/o parents experience with a clothes washer qualifies them as simply the worst. I wish zero stars was a possibility. Long story short - 6 months with a bad washing machine - Earl B Feiden refused to replace or repair. Washer never came with documents - seems a floor model or scam at best - full price was charged. Anyway, they went and bought a new washer at Lowes after beating their head against the wall for 1/2 a year. I am guessing the store knew this would happen. Not letting this place off the hook - I'm picking up the hunt now - nothing worse than a business that preys on the elderly. Simply disgraceful. read more

I had a bad experience at Marcella's appliance in Clifton Park. After a 15 minute wait, with 3 employees there, one with a customer, no one recognized me as a customer, completely ignored! I went into Earl B Feiden's store and it took 10 seconds for someone to approach me, he was knowledgeable about washers and I purchased a new washer. Important update as of July 3, 2020: Brad Feiden of Earl B. Feiden Appliances called me directly to resolve this matter. In short, he did. He arranged to have a brand new refrigerator delivered to me within three days. It was. and the appliance is spectacular. He also offered an extended warranty, which I was happy to accept. The two gentlemen who delivered the unit had a tough time getting it into our house, but they persevered and got it done. What a great group of people at this company. I now recommend you shop for major appliances there. We'll be back this fall to complete the upgrade to all our major appliances, with a new gas range. read more

So - I have never purchased appliances with Earl B. Feiden as I always kept it local in Saratoga. Not anymore. After spending lots of money on appliances for various properties - I called my 'local' appliance dealer to order a plastic end cap for a dishwasher I purchased from them a couple of years back. It was a $.58 piece. When my local dealer sim0ly wouldn't respond to my calls for help - I called Earl B. Feiden. Rob in parts answered the call, ordered the parts ON THE SAME PHONE CALL, and I picked them up the following day. Again, one call - parts ordered - dishwasher fixed the following day. I'll give Earl B Feiden my future business due in total to Rob in parts. Helped me out, was responsive and helped me to fix my issue. That makes them a company I'd like to deal with. When our home was built 18 years ago, the kitchen was designed to have a built-in GE oven, with a matching GE microwave mounted just above it using a standard GE microwave trim kit. The original microwave lasted 12 years. We purchased a replacement, with installation, from one of the major home improvement chains, but after delivering the microwave they advised that they didn't actually do installations. They did refund the installation charge, but we had to find another way to get it installed. Fast forward to this Spring when that 2014 microwave failed. In an attempt to avoid the installation hassle, I decided to call a full-service appliance dealer, and Feiden's assured me that they could handle everything. The new microwave was delivered about two weeks after we ordered it. But Feiden's performance on installing it was no better than the big box store we had dealt with six years earlier. Let me be clear that the installation crews were excellent and knew how to do their jobs. The problem was with the materials ordered by the salesman for the installation. Initially, the salesman insisted that a trim kit would not be required - he insisted that the new 2020 model-year microwave would fit into the 2014 model-year trim kit. He was wrong about that, so the first attempt at installation was a failure. Then, the salesman insisted that the standard GE trim kit would not work because it would not cover the opening in the kitchen cabinet (although standard GE trim kits had worked just fine for the 2002 and 2014 installations). Instead, he insisted that we had to use a custom trim kit supplied by a specialty metal fabricator. Once again, the installers were unable to complete the installation - they found that it would be necessary to modify our kitchen cabinets to use that custom trim kit, and Feiden's policy was that they were not allowed to modify customer-owned cabinetry, leading to a second failed attempt at installation. In addition, my wife really didn't care for the appearance of the custom trim kit. At that point, the salesman agreed to try the standard GE trim kit, but four weeks after ordering it he learned that it was backordered, and there was no ETA for when a kit would be available. He estimated that the wait could be six months or longer. That left us with the choice of either using the custom trim kit that my wife didn't like, or else waiting many months until the standard GE trim kit could be obtained. So we had to settle for the custom trim kit even through it was not our choice. We also found that communicating with Feiden's was very difficult. The only person who could answer any questions was the salesman who handled the transaction. When he wasn't available to take calls, we had to leave a message, but he rarely called back. It ended up taking more than ten weeks to get a new microwave installed, and even then we had to settle for second choice in trim kits, and I had to do part of the installation. To be fair, this all happened during the COVID19 situation, and that almost certainly was a complicating factor. Locally-owned stores like Feiden's justify their continued existence in the face of competition from the big-box stores by offering better customer service, but in this case the salesman repeatedly dropped the ball. read more

I would give no stars if I could. I called and told them that my refrigerator died on Christmas Day. I was assured that they would be able to deliver faster than anyone else and to come in. I looked at the website and found many items that fit my needs and price. When we arrived the saleswoman instantly took us to a model that we did not want. We told her what we had seen on their website and that we could not afford what she was trying to sell us. Rather than trying to accommodate our needs she brought us to a computer and began to argue about the website. Every time I stated that we can not afford what she offered, she did not budge. I asked about her lowest price and she referenced the computer screen again. As a retired teacher I felt like she was doing her "yea, but" routine like my preschoolers! When we left she told me to be aware of Lowes! BTW I am having a refrigerator that meets all of my specifications including price, tomorrow from Lowes! Oh wait with free financing. Returned to Earl Feidens Appliance to buy a new refrigerator. This is our third major appliance this year. Zach was our salesman once again and beat the price and had our refrigerator delivered in an amazingly short time. Zach was terrific. Our refrigerator was delivered by OG and Christian. What a pleasure to deal with these young men. They moved furniture to get my appliance into the house and made sure they put everything back to rights before they left the house. They were super careful with every item and assembled our new appliance to our satisfaction. I cannot say enough about what professionals both of the young men were. My Electrolux dryer stopped working only 13 months after purchase. Fiden told me to wait a month for a service call. Two weeks later I called back to let them know anther service company found the issue and it may be a part under warranty, since I purchased the washer and dryer from Feiden I thought they would help. I was told they would never offer service again on my dryer since another company tried to help us, they rudely hung up on me. Called back and asked to speak with service management and was told they would call back later that day, never happened. I would not suggest Feiden for your major appliances if you even need service you can't count on them. read more

This was our first time making an appliance purchase with Earl B. Feiden. It won't be the last. We had priced this range at a big box store where they told us it would take 2 weeks to come in. On a Thursday, Feiden told us it could be delivered Monday! Not to mention, EBF does the conversion from natural gas to Liquid Propane FOR YOU. AND their pricing was within $100 of the big box store. AND there's no haggling about charges to remove your old appliance - it's INCLUDED. Normally, if you use LP, you need to call a plumber to change the orifices - chances are, you'll hear "3 to 5 days out" on the appointment. All that time, you wouldn't be able to use your new range (been there)! EBF saves your sanity. Now then - there was a hiccup. The range which arrived as ordered did not match up to the expectations - a mutual oversight. No worries! One call to EBF, no problem at all.... a swap was to be delivered the following Monday. My Wife and I went to the store today specifically to buy an LG washer and dryer. I had done my homework and decided on the one we wanted. From the time I walked into the store the sales associate continually tried to push an Electrolux product on me and after repeated attempts to state what I wanted to buy I finally had to walk out of the store because she would not listen and made it clear they do not service LG products and can't get parts. My advice to anyone going to the Clifton Park store if you looking to buy anything but Electrolux I would advise you to go elsewhere. read more

They usually have a good assortment of the most current lines and then good books to show other options of the appliance you are thinking of. My 15+ year old GE fridge finally is done. I didnt want to go to the big box stores as i like more local business. Walked into the clifton park store an hour before closing with wife and 2 young children, not the place they want to be. I was greeted by Zach and was extremely pleased with his knowledge and professional attention. He gave me all the pricing and info i needed at that time. The next day i went to a competitor and was quoted a lower price etc, i called the store back and spoke to a very unprofessional and rude salesperson who basically without saying i was lying, said i was lying. I called and spoke to mike feiden who was so helpful and completed the purchase just based on my word and thanked me for the business. If it was not for Zach and michael i would have purchased my new fridge from the competition, based on my experience with other staff.
