5 Stars for the man or woman who is looking for something unique every time they thrift here. Unlike a goodwill or most thrift shops, Dechoes doesn't make you look too deep for great finds. There is little chance you'd leave without finding something that drew your interest. This mean that the buyers are discerning and that they really look for the good stuff. I dig this location for its size and the fun events they do to unveil new inventory. You'll find designer brands, in with unknown brands of bizarre/cool threads, and lots of fun vintage thrown in for good measure. I've also found a couple of pairs of shoes here and jewelry. If you like spending hours looking for a ridiculously good deal with the high possibility of leaving empty-handed, go to Goodwill or lesser thrift shops. This spot may be a tad more expensive, but it's really well curated. And I'll pay a dollar more for convenience and style! read more

I found the staff uninterested in their customers. They appeared more interested in themselves than managing the business or engaging their customers. The price was significantly higher than all of the other thrift stores in the area. Perhaps it's the ZIP Code however, that is not a reason to gouge . THIS STORE SELLS STOLEN ITEMS! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! I've been a loyal customer of Dechoes for years, but I can no longer remain silent about my frustrating experience. Back in 2023, my belongings, including my deceased grandmother's priceless shoes, were stolen by a young lady. I filed a police report, and the state picked up the case, but the situation has only gotten worse. Screenshots and pictures below show that this young lady entered Dechoes and sold my stolen items without any proper verification. It's clear that they have no policy or procedures in place to require identification for high-value items. Do they not care about selling stolen goods? I literally had to REBUY my own items back from this store. After speaking with the state attorney today, they informed me that, regrettably, justice will not be served due to this oversight. The state may have to drop the case because Dechoes does not mandate ID verification for sellers. I've lost over $10,000 in valued belongings, including items of significant sentimental value. I reached out to the owner today to address the issue in good faith. She claimed she tried everything to cooperate, but this is not enough. Dechoes has provided proof that the young lady made appointments to sell my items and even has an eyewitness who saw her do it. However, the state prosecutor informed me they can't use the eyewitness testimony due to legal technicalities. It's infuriating to know that Dechoes continues to operate without proper safeguards in place. At least pawn shops require ID for every item sold. I've urged them to implement a policy mandating sellers to show identification, which could prevent these issues in the future, but to no avail. Beware of Dechoes and their practices! Second hand clothing store that is a bit high in price, do I guess that is to be expected when they are located on Edgewater Avenue in trendy College Park. Customer service was hipster "let's ignore the customer because we are cooler than they are." No greeting or any acknowledgement of any kind. Again, you can't beat the location, but for the price, I could probably find the same quality clothing in a retail outlet. I am not going to say it was the worst experience ever, however I believe I could have had a better experience elsewhere. If you find yourself in college for, take a moment and check it out. Don't worry, they will probably ignore you. But you might find that one thing that you have been looking for or something that you never knew you needed but you cannot live without. read more

Stopped in the place after recently moving to the area to check it out. While the location itself is great, and their selection of clothing isn't bad, the review is more for the employees itself. Not very friendly - very cold. It's a decent place to stop in if you're looking for some vintage threads, however if you're treated as I was when I stopped in, then I doubt it'll result in a good experience. Hello happiness! My daughter loves, no, adores resale shopping. You can always find some hidden delights in a good resale shop. She found the cutest top and a great dress (unfortunately the dress did not fit quite right so we only took the top). After sorting through and finding a cute purchase after wandering in, there was a smile that I was only too happy to see. Not only do they offer clothing but accessories, lamps, men's clothing, shoes, purses... well a lot of many different items. I really wish now, that I had not given the 10 bags of clothing away before I moved to Orlando, I had some GREAT items and would have loved to be able to bring them here. The Dechoes in college park is absolutely adorable. They had a lot of great deals. What I love about dechoes is the wide range of hair products that are typically so expensive if you were to buy it retail. For instance I got a Tigi Catwalk hair product that is typically between the range of 15.00 to 20.00, I ended up getting it for like 5 dollars. I also scored this authentic hand crafted Mexican piece for 15 dollars, and a great book read for 4 dollars. They had a ton of vintage pieces, and just great articles of clothing period! As soon as you walk in you can not help but fall in fashion love. So if you are looking for one of a kind pieces this is the place you want to come to. read more

Gave them a 4 star review in the past after being a buyer and now I'm taking that back. Tried to become both seller and buyer at the same time recently and it was not a good experience. Although most of the items are nice and yes high end brands, I personally don't think its worth it to get those branded items from this store when you can afford to buy from the actual retail store. For me , items here are not expensive but overprice for items you don't know how many owners had. Also they stink when you sell items to them. I'd rather keep the items than to sell them to Dechoes. Fun place to buy and sell. This is my favorite Dechoes location solely because it's larger - more fun stuff to go through! Dechoes stocks an assortment of vintage, high-end designer, and mall-brand clothing (mostly women's, with a few racks of men's), vintage housewares, accessories, jewelry, candles, etc. Their buyers have a really good eye for cool pieces. I find random things I love almost every time I go in - today I picked up a parachute skirt from a random german designer for like $16, and it has a Rick Owens vibe to it. The staff is always friendly too. Protip: follow them on Instagram as they, like many vintage resellers, post the newest goods there and you can pay via Paypal if you want first dibs on something they've just gotten in. read more

Been here many times for the clothes. I love the mature/art decho/modern/prints selection at this store. I'm a size zero/xs and most places don't have enough of one size but I have no problem here. The high end luxury items I still think Colonial area carries that the most. This is a bigger spacier branch than Colonial also the staff here are not as friendly as Colonial. This review hurts my heart to say the least. I used to be a die hard decholic but it seems those times have long gone and passed. The store has undergone a new and undeserved flare that has pushed me much further away from it than I ever thought I would be. I recall 6-7 years ago this store used to be the best thing that ever happened to me, it was a great spot to find awesome designer items at a great deal but not any longer. The owner, Carie, is much less involved now and the store seems to have a hard time retaining the same loveable employees it once had. Prices have skyrocketed to the point of it often even being more expensive than its newer outlet alternative. It's very surprising to see Dechoe's in this state. It feels like it went from new age progressive thrifty consignment store to a wanna be NYC Soho consignment store knock-off where prices are high, employees are smug, and they could care less about earning your business. This is a very large far cry from the old atmosphere where you'd often find the owner and her husband avidly engaged in all 3 stores, buying, selling and being involved in the process. They even eliminated their prior rewards program for some kind of sudo-electronic thing that's honestly a joke compared to what they used to offer. It feels like the little who let fame get to his head and now they're so far gone off the beaten path that their doom is inevitable which is absolutely heartbreaking. I love Dechoes and don't want to see it go, but I'm sure its inevitable at this point. The store's aren't doing as well as they used to and it doesn't seem like they will be returning to their roots we all know and love. With a broken heart and a beaten soul, I have to reluctantly award them a whopping 2 out of 5 stars. After being told it's faster to communicate with this company from instagram, I submitted pictures and was told to go by the store so they could inspect the items. I had one receipt handy and if I needed more it was easy for me to get because when buying designer they make you create a profile in store to keep track of your purchases. I get to the store and sit for about 45mins then the girl told me she was ready for me. I get to the back of the store she then proceeds to tell me that she has found inconsistency in my items. I then told her no way i directly purchased my items through the gucci store, Hermes store, and balenciga myself. I then proceeded to call Gucci customer service number on speaker and they told me they located the item under my profile but I would need to stop by the store for the reprint. The girl at the store then contacts her boss not once did she tell her boss I heard them say they located it under her profile. She wasn't trying to help or be accommodating at all. I then proceeded to call balenciga they told me I can pick it up. Moral of the story stay away if you are of color. Everyone who wasn't of color got to sale they items and walk away while I was told mine were fake. I own 10k Chanel's and 100k car I would die before I purchase fake items. The girls who work there clearly don't wear designer and are not real authenticators. Don't waste your time. read more

Most of the staff are too aloof and immature. They don't take most of what you bring in, regardless how nice and good condition your clothes are. They are very specific to vintage and low-grade clothes. I will admit of how busy the store was the entire time I was in there... they obviously know what their market is. I have purchased many items here before in store. We actually would go to their locations almost every week to see what was new. They have officially lost a customer. I purchased an item from their website for the first time. When I arrived the item didn't fit. I was sad and asked if I could return it. To which the employee said all sales are final which I did not know. That's perfectly fine. I get it but she and the other employee start laughing like children. So unprofessional and rude. So then I inquire about reselling it to them and the option is 40% of the price I paid back. She says this through a crappy smirk. I am already used to their employees ignoring customers while you're in the store but this was a new level of disgusting customer service. I was there with someone else and from that experience they've definitely lost 2 customers and I will continue to tell people about this awful experience. They post a sign outside about exclusivity but then act like entitled toddlers once you come through the door. The owners of this place should really reassess their awful staff. read more

You will always find something great at Dechoes! Offering a wide selection of barely used designer goods, where could you go wrong? From Prada to Chanel, if you are addicted to labels and like getting them for a bargain price then Dechoes is your place! If you do not plan on shopping but have some stuff just lying around why not sell it? All you have to do is call and make an appointment. They will always offer you a fair price for whatever it is that you are selling. On the first Wednesday of each month, they open their store for an evening party called, "Wine Not". It is a cool little venue where they offer food, drinks, live entertainment and of course, shopping! Just be careful the Dechoes punch is lethal! The owners of Dechoes really care about making their store succeed. You can tell just by walking in and experiencing the ambiance. Great stuff! The jewelry and little goodies are what makes the stop here worth it. Belts, rings, pins, change purses, great finds! The staff was super friendly as well, not salesy in the least, just helpful. One thing to double check is that a ton of the items are prices individually but you have to look at the bin they are in or if they are on special. Ask in case you can't tell cause you don't want to miss out on a great item cause you think it's too much dough! Make sure you have time if you are looking for clothes cause you need to go through all the items, there are gems in there!! Make sure to get a punch card too! I really love Dechoes. I can always find something for my wardrobe at this resale/vintage shop. They also carry a few housewares and plenty of jewelry. I don't ever leave Dechoe's without buying something, even if its small. I've only been to the Colonial and the Edgewater locations, both usually have a large selection and they rotate their merchandise from store to store to keep it fresh. From experience the girls that work there are usually friendly, there have been a couple times where they were kind of snobbish (maybe I wasn't looking particularly indie hipster chic that day? Or maybe they were having a crap day?) I've only "sold" a few things to them, they're very particular about what they want for the shop (but I can relate being a shop owner myself) and you usually won't walk away feeling like you got an amazing deal for your clothes. Completely forgot to go to the website and wish I didn't because I wasted twenty minutes driving to the store and going in only to find out I have to call a number and make an appointment. This place is my favorite secondhand shop in all of Orlando. The staff is always very chill yet friendly and willing to have a conversation with you. They offered my friend and I a drink the moment we walked in which was a nice gesture. The clothes are all amazing and I like that the selection isn't overwhelmingly large so you actually feel like you're getting quality pieces. After trying to sell them some of my clothing castaways, I learned that you technically need to make an appointment to have your garments assessed. And that there is no guarentee that they will take what you have to offer. They base their need by what is selling. So be patient and keep trying. I'm from Boston an I'm an ardent fan of shopping at consignment shops and we have some great ones in Boston. However, while visiting in Florida I found Dechoes consignment, which has two locations and was blown away by the quality of what they were selling, the competitive pricing and again the incredible customer service from the owner to all of her staff, and that includes William who I felt like I knew for years rather than a few days. So, please don't go shopping there so I will have all the all advantage! While I wish I could shop there every week, I'll have to be satisfied following this great consignment store! Want to find designer threads but without the price tag? Then definitely checkout Dechoes resale. I have brought some old stuff in for consignment many times there and gotten a great price for my things. I love the fact that you can get designer jeans, handbags and vintage clothes all in one store and just like it's mass retail counterparts, it offers a layaway plan in case you want to purchase a pricier item but can't pay at once ( Louis Vuitton purses anyone?) My favorite of the three locations is the one on Edgewater, it has the feel of Clothing resale giant, Buffalo Exchange but, with a hometown twist. I love their Monthly Wine Not Wednesdays where you can mingle with Orlando's resale fans while enjoying free booze and food and live music! Dechoes is fashionably fun :) read more

I just recently started traveling back and forth between NYC and Orlando. I'm a religious thrift-er. I love a deal. I was looking for thrift sores in my area and Dechoes popped up on Yelp. It was a 12 minute drive away from my house. Upon arriving, I was greeted with smiles from all the staff members. They explained to me in detail what kind of sales, and specials they had going at the moment. The decor is VERY chic and vintage. Its such a colorful store. The floors were clean, and everything was organized. They had women's clothing to the right and the men's clothing to the left. But of course, there were more woman selections than men. There's a fitting room all the way in the back which was very well kept. The accessories are kept in random spots on the sales floor, but the jewelry is kept by the registers and towards the front of store. The clothing selection was very diverse. They had very high-end brands, as well as very affordable ones. Brands such as J.crew, Chanel, Betsy Johnson, etc. Most of the clothes were vintage but very chic. It was just amazing. The prices are much more expensive compared to your normal thrift store. This is because the brand names are much more popular. I would advise you not to go in there thinking your going to spend $20. However, everything is still reasonably priced. I loved this place so much. It was such a different experience for me. I wish I could have stayed longer, but time wasn't on my side.
