My FAVORITE vintage pieces were found at Deja Vu Vintage Clothing. Robin always has the rare and wonderful. I have a 70's long leather jacket, an 80's puff sleeved prom dress, stocking and garter belt from the 50's, fascinator hat, hand embroidered jeans from the 60's, beaded purse from the 1920's and lots of rhinestone jewels that Robin sold to me. I highly recommend gift shopping here. You will find something unique and thoughtful to give. There is a lot more than clothing and jewelry. Great energy as you enter the store. Welcoming. Robin is a gem and made sure I felt welcomed to touch and try on anything my heart desired. The pieces are in the best condition I've ever seen for true vintage. Zippers intact. No stains. No rips. Seams intact. Excellent condition pieces for absolutely the most reasonable prices. I was surprised. I looked through each and every rack and selected 4 pieces to try on. I ended up purchasing 2. 2 true vintages pieces for under $100. STOP!!! I will be back. True vintage items at fair prices. The owner has an eye for quality and prices were appropriate for the value. She specializes in jewelry so she has a several display cases of pieces. I spotted a girl scout necklace from my youth (which was a blast from the past) and it was a locket. She has clothing and household items. The store is nicely curated and the owner was friendly and helpful to me. I did not make a purchase however I plan to go back and stop in the next time I am in the area. This little shop is packed with jewelry, trinkets, accessories, clothing and shoes from eras gone by. If you like vintage pieces, this is the place for you! The woman who owns the shop (forgot to get her name) is very friendly and more than willing to chat with customers. She clearly has an eye for unique and authentic vintage items. The negative reviewers are on drugs. This place is fantastic. I came in from out of town, and was immediately sucked into a nearly 2 hour adventure in this store. Everything I saw, I wanted. High-quality vintage, amazing accessories, and the owner is AMAZING. She helped me pick out some great clothing, and was very knowledgeable about labels, styles, and what she had in her store. I didn't smell smoke at all. I was worried about this from the below review, but it's crap. The place smells like a vintage store, and there isn't any smoking inside. She also has costume rentals, which another customer was trying on. They were beautifully maintained and in good taste. If I lived in Orlando, I would be in this shop every week. Not only is the shop full of GREAT rare vintage, but the owner is so helpful and friendly. I chatted with her at length, and she had no problem directing me to other stores in the area, which was great. You are insane/a crackhead if you don't check this place out. So, my wife is having a reunion and they are doing a 70's theme. We have been scouring thrift stores in Orlando to find something appropriate to go with her novelty oversized afro. Most stores were lacking or way too pricey. Then we found Deja Vu. Great selection of clothes and jewelry crammed into a tiny space. But the real gem here (ha! get it? 'gem'..huh? huh?...awww, c'mon. That was funny!) is the owner, Robin. When we told her what we were looking for she immediately suggested several spot-on outfits that fit my wife perfectly. Several are for rent and that's what we ended up going with. Robin also suggested several accessories that worked perfectly. She clearly loves her business and knows her stuff. My girl loves vintage clothes and was dragging me around shopping but Deja Vu was a decent pit stop on our shopping excursion. It had a really great and wide selection of vintage and consignment clothes and accessories. I was really surprised by the men's section because it had some decent jackets and pants. Ladies would go crazy browsing around in this store. It has a very respectable selection of vintage clothing, antiquities, and accessories. Robin, the owner, even has old college letters from really old school Universitys like Washington, Michigan, Yale, etc. It's a special store run by a special person. The ceilings are cleverly lined with women's stockings making it seem like women are embedded in the ceiling. I went into Deja Vu yesterday in search of a 1960's attire for a party that I am going to on Saturday. I was met by Patty who was the most down to Earth person I have met. She helped me navigate through the store and explained how the rentals work and etc. There was such a huge selection of attire to choose from with all different eras right at your disposal. I found a really cool red, white, and blue dress that I absolutely love and I cannot wait to wear on Saturday. I am going back tomorrow to find some groovy digs for my hubby. Absolutely despicable customer service. The RUDEST salesperson I've ever come in contact with anywhere, who I can only assume to be the owner. I have no clue how this business is still open. If you want to be insulted then this is the store for you. I drove an hour to this shop only to have the owner talk over me, and not give me the chance to say what I was there looking for. Then, she had the audacity to tell me "the bigger sizes are over there". I am a size 10. This woman lost a sale and customer. She has no idea how to be helpful or even hold a conversation. No wonder there was no else in the store! I am telling everyone to beware of this disgusting establishment. The items are overpriced, and that woman needs a reality check. read more

Best vintage in Orlando hands down! Robin always goes out of her way to make me feel special!

Been meaning to check this place out for a while & finally did this afternoon. After a nice lunch with a friend at White Wolf, we walked a few doors down to Déjà Vu, which both of us found to be very interesting, unique and cool. I was surprised to find so many items for men in here, especially considering that I had a preconceived notion that it was primarily a store for women, if not entirely for women. I found that to not be the case as the store has a decent selection of shirts for men as well as jackets/blazers, pants, belts and other items for men as well. My friend browsed the clothing for women and said she saw several neat items, but found the prices to be slightly higher than what she was hoping for. She spent quite a bit of time perusing through the jewelry cases and displays and pointed out several items to me, which I also thought were cool. The displays feature many different bracelets, necklaces, rings and more, with prices ranging from the teens to as high as $60-something (perhaps there are less- and more-expensive items in there, but the ones I looked at all ranged from $10-$60 or so). There also are hats (my friend tried on a cute leopard- or cheetah-patterned beret or something like a beret) and assorted memorabilia items, including banners. I even saw some photographs, old letters and maybe postcards on display. There's a lot of interesting stuff in here, and there was a decent-sized crowd in attendance this afternoon. (Most were women, but I did see a couple of men stroll in and out.) I found a nice dress shirt for $10 and purchased it, and I probably would and could have spent more had I not spent some money at Dechoes and Etoile Boutique over the past few weeks. Perhaps the next time I'm looking for some interesting, hip and affordable clothes, I'll stop in here before going to either or both of the aforementioned places. Déjà Vu definitely is worth a stop if you're into vintage clothing, browsing through interesting items, bargains or if you're simply curious about what's in the store. The owner (according to the business card I brought home with me, her name is Red Robin) is very sweet and friendly, and I hope that business remains steady and that the store does well. I don't get to come in too often because I live kind of far, but any time I make it out, there is usually 2 or 3 dresses that catch my eye. Overall quality is very good, therefore some pieces can be pricey. The owner is always there and is ready to answer any of your questions.
