I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to repair them and delete my data only to get rid of them right after. Domain Tech Academy helped me wipe out my hard drive and destroy another one that was just no longer good and then donated them to a good cause for me. I was even able to get a tax receipt for them upon request! The only suggestion for improvement I have is for better communication. I had called and told them I would be stopping by because I wanted to see if my data was in fact deleted off the drives and it was a bit more difficult than I had thought it would be to reinstall the hard drive to show me. After realizing they could not install the hard drive to my personal laptop because it was going to be donated without being completely fixed, they got an external drive and connected it to another laptop to show me it was deleted but it was just a bit confusing and a bit of a wait. Overall, I left satisfied and trust that they handled my laptop and information with care and honesty. I would recommend this place especially because it is run by students still in college who are offering their services at quite a significant discount in order to develop their skills in their fields.
