We stopped in recently and were helped by two nice, professional employees. We needed to be sure of the room measurements so we went home, measured, and returned to the store. The second time, we were approached by a very unkempt looking employee who acted like he would rather have been anywhere else but there. His shirt was untucked, his pants were baggy, and both looked ill-fitting. It was such a turn-off that we left and ended up shopping elsewhere. They will claim that they will give your full purchase price in trade. They don't tell you the caveat that the rug you are trading for must be more expensive and of a style that is popular at the time of the trade. We own four of their rugs. We no longer have a use for one of them. We tried to trade it for a less expensive rug for the kitchen dinette. They told us that would be impossible, and besides, green is no longer popular. They were supposed to have some custom samples made for us, and four years later we are still waiting to see them. We have dealt with Royal Gallery of Rugs for over thirty years. We thought we had a good relationship with them. Not!
