Add this to your list of places to visit. It's 2 buildings of vintage, antiques, crafts, food and other items you didn't know you needed. They also have a very nice collection of Amish made patio furniture. Currently lots of spring items to brighten the home. I bet you won't leave empty handed!

Coming to Tru-Finds Treasures during their Christmas Open House always gets me in the holiday spirit. This weekend is the Christmas Open House, and they are prepared for the crowd of folks it brought out. They had 2 extra people checking folks out, and it went very smoothly. The crowd kept the aisles and booths packed, so patience was required, but there was so much to see that nobody wanted to rush through. I found the prices reasonable and affordable. The shop was beautiful with all the lights, colors, and gorgeous items on display. There was an abundance of decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, Christmas gnomes, angels, Santa's, furniture, clothing, and charming table settings. I think my favorite was the upside down Christmas tree decorated in purples and pinks. Perfect for Christmas, Mardi Gras, or leave up all year. If I had a larger home, I would have purchased so much more. But my downsizing does mean fewer items in my home. It was extremely difficult not purchasing many of the items I fell in love with. Everyone seemed extremely pleased with the selection of amazing Christmas options. I overheard several people express how happy they were with their new Christmas finds. Several were shopping for Christmas gifts and marking names off their list. It was great fun seeing the shop full, wall-to-wall with spectacular home decor. I love bringing new, afforable pieces home and how excited I get to decorate for the holidays. Lebanon is just off 65 North and a short drive from the west side of Indy. It's worth the drive if you love home decor, but especially Christmas right now. Stop in.

Along the newly refinished Indianapolis Avenue in Lebanon, there is a shop filled with booths of home decor items. Much of it is seasonal and some may be antiques, but mostly, there are lots unique items to consider for your home or as gifts. They have their own parking lot and with a few quick steps up into the "lobby" area, you are greeted with pleasant scents and rustic charm. Upon entering the actual store, I was greeted by several folks at the checkout counter. As I meandered through the shop, I realized that the booths were not arranged in perfect rows, but were tucked away into several side rooms as well. So, take your time going through so that you don't miss any booths! I didn't notice much furniture for sale, though there was some. Mainly, there were some women's clothing & accessories, candles, table decor, and lots of items with upbeat phrases. I was free to roam at my own pace without feeling pressured to make a purchase. The items that I caught my eye seemed to be fairly priced as well. If you are looking for something a little different for your home or as a gift, stop by here. Review #3471

After brunch one Sunday in downtown Zionsville, I went shopping in the downtown Zionsville historic…read moredistrict and came across Fivethirty Home. This quaint little shop was very nice and cute, and had some nice local merchandise and unique nicnacks. I walked through the shop and could tell it had a nice selection of merchandise and the value of the price appeared to be very good. I went into a separate room that had 50% off merchandise, and found a few things that caught my eye which I ended up purchasing. They were kitchen coasters and they were very decorative and attractive looking. The service at the shop was Ok. The woman behind the cashier table was very nice and said hello when I first walked into the shop. When I checked out, she was very gracious and wrapped my kitchen coasters very carefully so that they would not break. Fivethirty Home is a neat shop with great merchandise, so if you are in downtown Zionsville, you should check it out. It is very nice and worth browsing around.

Fivethirty Home inspires me to be creative and do a little redecorating. I was worried that the…read morelittle shop had left Zionsville, but discovered they moved down the street to Bender Square in a much larger location. The new location has lots of nooks and crannies for setting up interesting displays and they do. We stopped by while out doing some Christmas shopping and found the store packed with shoppers. Good to see people supporting these small independent shops. They carry about 1/3 vintage items like globes and suitcases and nicely painted furniture pieces, about 1/3 local artisan decor mostly Indiana themed (which I love) and then about 1/3 reproduction vintage filler such as wrapping paper and trendy letter art. In addition she carries a line of high quality chalk paint and supplies. They teach classes on how to use the chalk paint (which I've been meaning to take). The pieces that she finishes are gorgeous - mostly little side tables. Today they carried a lot of Christas themed items. The owner is very friendly and happy to provide advice on painting. She is indeed gifted. The prices on the chalk paints are a little high so I haven't taken the plunge yet until I know I have time to complete a project. I see many customers coming to buy the paint and supplies so they must be happy. There is street parking available and a free lot across the street but it can be a bear to find a spot on a Saturday. They are not opened on Sunday. I'll be back and perhaps soon I'll take one of her classes.

He told us the the building originally was a chicken hatchling house. The original sign hangs behind his counter. The store is extensive yet easy to get around. Aisles are wide and it is easy to see the merchandise. They carry a great assortment of local antiques and vintage items. Prices range from low to high depending on the item. Glassware is nicely displayed. The upstairs is filled with furniture. He carries an interesting selection of old pipes and campaign buttons. There is also a few nice restaurants on the square if you'd like to dine while there. Peddler's Alley was close to the square so we stopped to check it out. The building is much larger than it appears from the outside. Convenient parking is in front of the shop. I was warmly greeted as I entered and I immediately headed to a gorgeous fireplace mantle close by. The grouping was gorgeous with the mantle, area rug, chandelier, willow branches, rocking chair and other home decor items. The large shop has several rooms filled with mid-century furniture, prints, lamps, home decor, candles, glassware, stained glass and so much more. If you enjoy browsing or looking for something specific stop in Peddler's Alley and explore this clean, well organized shop. The owner is friendly and helpful but allows you to browse at your spend. Stop in.
