Used to be great but now there is a new owner. Doesn't speak any English. Phone number is out of service. Website states they offer pickup and delivery - after a no-show, was told that was from the old owner (which as far as I know was a lie). Door states "last wash at 4pm, closes at 6pm." However, after 4 failed attempts to pick up my laundry after work, between 430pm and 545pm, was told that if no one is there doing their laundry, they close at 4pm. This is not posted anywhere, and due to above-referenced out of service #, you can't even call to see if still open before going there. Clothes came back covered in lint. read more

Complete rip off... The dryers cost twice as much as my normal place and I obviously didn't know til I'm sitting here with multiple loads of wet laundry... Obligating me to pay their outrageous costs. The staff was unfriendly and stand-offish... Many broken machines. Run down and trashy. Cramped and 4 people is crowded. Don't come here... It is exploitive because the people across the street can't get to anywhere else. read more

Got my clothes done. There was charged $60 for wash and Fold4 15 items came back extremely dirty and much much lint, very upset. Can contact them on the phone disconnected. I want my $60 back and I want other customers to know of their business practices. read more

I went to this laundry mat and was happy at first until I came back and the door was locked. The sign on the door says that hey close at 6pm which is the new covid hours I come at 5 and my clothes are locked in there. There is no phone number that I can call either cause the one online says disconnected. What do I do now. I just have to pray they are open tomorrow. This is so upsetting. not even sure where to begin. Basic issues: Old broken machines, leaking water, employees with nasty attitudes and unethical practices. This business also may be operating off the records (per the city of Dedham, the business was dissolved 25 years ago). There's no phone number or owner made public ally available which is very weird. -I came in with 4 large bags of laundry. Two women working there, no one greets me or helps with door. Instead, the older of the 2 starts preemptively scolding me about this insane idea she had that I was going to put about 5 loads worth of laundry into 1 machine. There was ZERO reason for her to think this! I should have left right then looking back. -While I load 5 machines one at a time obviously not overloading and feeling quite anxious as the women watch me like I'm an animal in the zoo. The woman from before bizarrely comes over and stands literally within 2 feet of my face just staring, literally standing in a corner it was so weird. Just in case you're wondering, no I'm not a drunk insane person who came in spilling shit everywhere trying to break all the machines. -2 of the machines clearly needed the quarters removed and they took a few quarters without giving credit. I was already too hesitant to talk to the two employees so I just paid extra. -Later a massive puddle of water starts coming from under one of the machines. Clearly there's something wrong with it. I call over the woman from before (I had no choice at this point) and she doesn't say a word, just looks at me like I broke the machine or killed her first born. Didn't acknowledge the fact that my laundry bag was completely drenched in wet FILTH and unusable. -While I am putting clothing from the wash into one of my laundry bags so I could bring it to the dryer, the other woman comes over and berates me about how my clothes are going to be wrinkled because I'm putting them on top of each other in the brief minute it takes me to bring the bag to the dryer (??). I told her I was putting them in the dryer...she rolls her eyes and responds sarcastically and smiling as though I'm an idiot bc my shirt will be wrinkled or something like that lol -The place is supposed to close at 8. However, around 7pm, they started closing up shop. They are actually handing me my items like I'm supposed to be leaving, almost an hour early. My clothes had just been moved to the dryer. Them, I see the first woman find my quarter on ground (literally in the little area where only my stuff was, also I was the only customer...) and put it in her pocket. I guess she thought she deserved a tip. Now I'm just...shocked. -By 7:20 they are literally standing together looking out at the FRONT DOOR. I am so mad and just want to get out of there ASAP. I hurriedly grab my 5 loads of semi-dry clothes. On my way out I ask for my quarter back. The woman gives it back to me. I tell the two women that my experience had been terrible after the woman asked me if I wanted to say something to her (in this weird antagonistic tone, at least they're consistent). This sets off the younger employee who is now laughing angrily as though it's the most ridiculous thing she's ever heard. I'm leaving when she comes up to me all angrily excited with these tiny keys and a wet shirt SCREAMING asking if they are mine. I grab the shirt and say the keys aren't mine, she then says (actually, screams angrily) that if I leave my stuff then they can take my quarter even if they know it's mine since I dropped it (logical, I know). I ask if she is really saying that if a customer leaves one thing in a machine, that means that employees can steal from them. She screams "YES" and then gets in my face literally physically closing the doors in me and yells "GET OUT!". I left SHOCKED and with damp clothes. Honestly I've never seen anything like what I experienced there yesterday. It was actually insane. read more

This is a totally easy, functional laundromat. Not a ton of pedestrian traffic in this plaza means less chance you'll have to fight to the death for a machine. I am happy to report that no brass knuckles were used in my time at Dedham Laundry Center. The machines are laid out in a logical fashion, i.e. dryers aren't on the opposite end of the facility from washers, which I appreciated. Machines are new-ish, in actual working order, and self-explanatory to use. Prices for supplies and machines were fair. Staff was helpful and friendly. Easy is the only word I have -- and that's the best word I can think of when describing the dreaded task of laundry. read more

After a horrible experience at Bubbles Laundry on VFW Parkway in West Roxbury, I took my next laundry loads to Dedham Laundry in the CVS Plaza on Bussey Street - which also has a pizza place, Dunkin Donuts, and Bank of America ATM, with plenty of parking. The wash/dry/fold service was $1.00/lb and everything was perfect. I took my next load there and did it myself. Management kindly approached to inquire if I needed assistance and then backed off, although available if I needed her. They didn't try to rip me off like the Bubbles manager. When she noticed I had a leftover soap, she bought it back from me and then handed me candy for my children, who accompanied me. Super nice people and the business is clean, with mostly newer machines. I only saw one small older machine that was out of service. Will definitely be going there again! Ohhh...cost: $4.00 triple load, $3.50 for double load, $0.25/6 minutes dryer. read more

Is the worse place ever. The attitude of the staff are fucking terrible and the help are sucks. If you fuck up you fuck up! All they can tell is "not my fault" also is not cheap at all. read more

Fiirst time i washed my clothes here and knew they were not as nice as they seem. I saw the owners laugh at people behind their back. Good thing i checked the hot water, it was cold as iced. I went over to tell the lady about the water she said the hot water pump is broken, i told her i need hot water for the whites and my under clothes. She said no refund, i told her that that's there's nothing posted and i want my money back. I told her that these people don't even know. She shhhhh me and gave me my money back.
