I contacted her through Facebook and she got back to me so quickly! We booked a time and date before the 14 days mark when the babies can sleep through pictures. Her studio is so clean!!! Plus she had a back room for anybody that isn't taking pictures with coffee, sodas, snacks and a diaper changing station with a breast feeding pillow! Our engagement shoot was a great introduction to what it feels like to know a camera is on you, but with Rich and Alyssa behind the lens I didn't feel weird or uneasy. That is probably why I look so fab in all these pics ;) I love the style and look of the photos, but mainly I adore how they capture the day. Even when perusing photos from weddings of people I've never met, I get that feeling of anticipation, excitement, happiness and love. When I was looking through the pictures from my own wedding I felt all those emotions rush over me again, but it was so fun to relive the day in a way I wasn't able to. I loved the shots they took of other friends and family enjoying themselves, the things I didn't see since I was busy being "the bride". These pictures are timeless. I know I will cherish these photos until forever. As a kid I loved seeing pictures of my parents and grandparents in their younger years, and these photos will be exciting for me to show off if I have my own family down the road. And finally, Rich and Alyssa are cool people. They have a beautiful family and are great people. I feel like I made a couple of new friends after this experience. However, while we paid for two…read moreshooters, there were several separate instances where we were unable to locate either of them in our one-room venue during our reception. This was what we were trying to avoid and ultimately why we chose and paid for two photographers. We wanted to accommodate for breaks, and anything else that might come up while still having one photographer to cover. Olivia offered a partial refund for this, but ultimately went back on her word and provided zero compensation. She stated that they, "fulfilled their contract." I would have to disagree, if you pay for two photographers - you should get two photographers, or at least one when you need them! I would feel terrible if other couples weren't advised of this going into a contract with her. This was, as it is for most couples, the most expensive part of our wedding day. Though we have lots of great shots, it's a stain on my memory to think of the many missed opportunities.
