If I could give 0 I would. This place is unprofessional on all levels. I got my floors done a year…read moreago by them and they look terrible. Some pieces of my floor were coming up because I found a piece of it in my 10-month-old mouth. A year ago I was very much so pregnant and we were getting construction done, because of the type of construction we needed hardwood to be fixed up, and redone. So the worker called Oscar. When he came to my house he didn't speak to me it was mostly to the worker. He told me that he couldn't get the floors to the exact color but it would be a bit darker but darker was better because it hides more. Though the sheen was never discussed. I asked Oscar if I needed to leave the house due to the fumes he said no I should be fine. Ok great! The weekend passes and his guys come, his guy tells me his English isn't the greatest and I told him my Spanish is awful despite being Latina. I asked this worker (turns out it was Oscar's brother) if I needed to leave the house, just to make sure, he said yes and I asked him are you sure and told him what Oscar said and the gentleman told me, no I have to leave as well as my 3 dogs. So very pregnant me has to pack for 3+ and leave the house with 3 small dogs one of whom is special needs. Before I left the worker showed me the color, which I was not thrilled about and had expressed that. He told me that's what they have, please note the construction had taken longer than it was supposed to, so ok I agreed. Thankfully I asked again because I had my mom at the house to let the guys in and out and the fumes were horrible. So Oscar and his lack of care would have put a high-risk pregnant woman further at risk!!!! So I came home and I HATED THE FLOORS! They put a matte sheen but I would have never approved that! I like the shine. So the construction worker came back and being that he was the middle man I expressed my concern and he blew me off and told me "We'll they are the professionals and they know better" Then come to find out the guy couldn't put the floor trim on because the floor guys left a gap (oh and it's still there, they didn't do it right) they came to fix it but it was not done right. At this point, I had enough and just let things be, I was super pregnant and spent my WHOLE pregnancy with construction because the guy took forever, oh and that guy messed up the newly done floors. By the time I had people out it was the holidays and I told my husband I needed a break for a couple of weeks and then we could have the floors fixed, well my daughter had other plans and came 5 weeks earlier due to me getting COVID-19. So for a while, we couldn't get things done especially with a newborn, time slipped by quickly, and hasn't been until recently that I could address things. Fast forward to the present (last week), I called Oscar because pieces of the floor were coming up, and he asked for a picture, so as I was getting up to take the picture I began to tell him in a summarized version of my dismay, ha, how that conversation turned! He began to blame me!!! And continuously interrupted me despite him asking a question. After going back and forth I asked him for his business name, to which he REFUSED to give it to me and said "Well you should have it." I then told him men like you are not nice to women and asked him where he was from, he laughed at me. I bet you if it were my husband speaking and expressing this Iscar would have not gotten the way that he did. He was also telling me that he is a professional and he always asks about the sheen, and I told him that he didn't this time. When I told him bits of our convo he said that never happened, seriously... it was about a year ago and I'm sure you've had plenty of customers since so you remember this convo?! Yeah... okay! We ended the convo with him saying he would text me his schedule, haha, that never happened, even though I texted several times. RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! Stay away from this company he is sexist and a liar. Plus they did a terrible job because every ding there is a scratch you can see!

Two workers moved all furniture out and back in systematically, removing moulding and replacing it when room was finished. The project was completed quickly (product was delivered in 5 days and install of 1600 sq ft was done in 4 days). I highly recommend using this company. I couldn't be happier.

After flooring they returned to re do as the matte was too matte, after 4 months I noticed splitting in the cracks of the coating. It took 15 years to see the cracks on the first coating done professionally. I believe they watered down or thinned down the coating. This is why the 3.5 rating. The original crew showed up on time but did a poor job on the steps. Owner had to come back and re-paint the walls on the stairs. Due to rain, they coated in a small foyer where light was very low the walls o the stairs, when looked in daylight very uneven coating. It is now one year since they have been here, and I see the floors deteriorating much faster. I would do more research on the company before hiring them. There price was reasonable, but the project grew from one room to two rooms and then a stairwell, then a hallway and then one more room. All due to color and rooms flowing into each other. The color has to match. They accommodated me well, but I think the quality was on the poor side.

We moved into a house that needed to have the old hardwood floors redone, and wanted to add matching hardwood seamlessly into the bedrooms with carpet (and only plywood underneath). We were referred to these guys by a friend who had used them a few times before for different projects. Adam (the owner of Carpet and Flooring Connoisseurs) come out and measured, and showed us a bunch of samples of different finishes, gave us a quote that was very close to the other 3 quotes we received, but between the online reviews, the recommendation from our friend, and finally the option for the natural Woca oil finish (the other quotes were for poly only), we went with Adam. (As far as I understand, Woca is basically a natural wood hardener which isn't as shiny as poly, and actually seals into the wood instead of sitting on top of it - google Woca for more info) They delivered the wood upon deposit, and after it acclimated to our home for a few days, they did the following: Sanded the old floors down, replaced part of the hallway where the old floor had some damage, fixed a big water stain in a main room, tore up the old subfloor top layer and added new hardwood to the 3 bedrooms, and did the Woca oil finish. From the start of the work (not counting delivery and acclimation of wood) they started on a Monday and were out by Thursday night. (Then there were 2 additional days we waited for the finish to set before we could walk on it - didn't want to ruin it!) The final product is beautiful, and you can't even tell where the old floor ends and the new begins. The Woca finish feels a lot different than poly - imagine how a freshly sanded butcher block feels, it's really soft on our feet. See pictures attached here as well. Adam was great, they worked with us on scheduling and returned emails and calls quickly, his crew was totally professional (and super fast), and we would honestly recommend these guys to anyone.
