So I really dig this place, and this concept. Roll With It is basically like a bar/restaurant for…read moretable top/board gaming. You can bring your own, or play any of the MANY games they have available. Also, the staff will come around and teach you how to play if you're trying to learn something new which is a big plus. It can get pretty overwhelming pretty fast -- but they've got everything from kids games, to retro games, to long RPG kinds of stuff - so whatever your lane is, they've got something for it. The menu is kind of limited, but what I've eaten here has been delicious. On one visit I got a lovely salad, on another the teriyaki chicken which was delightfully spicy, and on other occasions we've tried the appetizers like the hummus plate and pretzel bites. Portions are pretty small for the price. They do have some wine/beer options as well as tons of non-alcoholic options as well. The staff adheres to a NO TIPPING policy - but a flat gaming fee is added to your bill. Kind of a cool concept. There's always been plenty of spaces to park when I've visited and it's definitely a fun night out if you're wanting to do something different with friends. I'd go with a solid 4 1/2 on this one!

When we first arrived, we were greeted by a nice gentleman asking if we want a big or small table depending on what kind of games (bigger or smaller size of the game). We picked a smaller table but regretted because we ended up playing the Photosynthesis. We were told that they don't accept tips since 18% will be added on our bill along with a $5 fee to maintain their boardgame library, and I totally love this idea. I was a server once and this is so much better for both customers and servers. Regardless of that their service is still great other than the food was slow, which I know it's not their fault but their pos machine was down/kitchen/whatever. So we sat down and ordered our drinks and food. Their drink menu has couple IPA, wine and milkshakes. My bf had some IPAs and I just got water because I usually get cocktails but they didn't offer any, which is a disappointment for me. I ordered the Tuna Poke and my bf ordered the Turkey Bacon Panini. The food was pricey but they do give you what you paid for, the flavor is incredible. My Tuna Poke is really spicy so beware if you don't like spicy. The sauce is creamy and full of flavor. I can taste a little soy and sesame. There's a generous amount of tuna which was covered with poppyseeds. The Turkey Bacon Panini is THICC. Huge amount of turkey and everything on it are fresh. My bf loves avocado so he LOVES his sandwich. While waiting for the food, we went to check out what game we wanted to play. The shelves are so neat and every boardgames are placed in categories. The colors of the stickers on the boardgame represent how hard is it to learn how to play the games. We picked Photosynthesis because my bf was thinking of buying it but wanted to try it beforehead. After we went back we started to read the instructions of the game and setups, but we planned on eating before playing because we were pretty hungry. Unfortunately the food hasn't arrived due to miscommunication on their part but the owner apologized and the server did check on us occasionally. We were also taking our time to learn how to play the game so it wasn't a huge deal for us. We like to figure out how to play a boardgame ourselves but sometimes we had to ask questions and the owner is patient and willing to answer all questions, and luckily he said he really loves this game so he is very knowledgeable with it. We also had couple good conversations with him and other staff. They are all very friendly and you can tell they like boardgames too. We ended up staying a little after 11(sorry we got excited!) since we wanted to finish the game and browsed around the buying section where you can purchase some games that they provide and in case you wanna buy it too. Overall the food is a bit pricey but delicious. The variety of boardgames are incredible and they are nice and clean. The owner and staff are super friendly. Suggestions I have is to add cocktails on their drink menu and some more comfortable seats. We will definitely come back with friends and try out other boardgames!

It was a little chilly tonight, but I imagine the outdoor seating would be perfect on a warmer evening. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily we were seated within seconds. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it's thoughtfully designed and perfect for a cozy date night. Every employee who passed by greeted us, which made the atmosphere feel especially welcoming. We started with the octopus, served with potato foam, pickled pear, and chorizo. For entrées, he ordered the duck and I had the pork bolognese. Both dishes were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also ordered drinks. I do wish they had come out a bit earlier so we could enjoy them sooner, but the selection was impressive. We chose the bartender's choice, which was a really fun experience. The waitress asks a few questions, and based on your answers the bartender creates a drink they think you'll love. We were too full for dessert, though they did offer four different options. Overall, we were really happy we tried this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Mr. Food Mart is your typical neighborhood corner store but on steroids. I'm not sure how long…read morethey've been in business but I moved to the area in 2002 and they were already a neighborhood fixture. They offer basic grocery items like milk, bread, canned and dry goods, snacks, sodas, beer, etc... You can also find basic health and first aid items, very basic automotive items, tobacco products, etc... Of course they sell all the Virginia lottery tickets and a good variety of scratch-off lottery games as well. The aisles are narrow and crowded and the whole place could probably benefit from a deep cleaning and some updating. So far I've described your average neighborhood corner store but Mr. Food Mart is so much more. You can pay your utility or cell phone bill here, you can cash a check or buy a money order. You can pick up a bag of ice or exchange the propane tank for your gas grill then pump your tire full of air. They also have a deli counter where you can purchase deli meats and cheeses by weight and have them sliced to your preference. Then there's the food. They have a full line of delicious cold and hot subs as well some pretty decent pizza by the slice or get the whole pie. There are no tables or chairs inside or out so it's strictly takeout. To place your order just come on in or call ahead to have it ready when you get there. Hot dogs, hot sausage, bbq - you can get it here and it's pretty darn good. They have a nice commercial pizza oven and they know how to use it. Honestly, their subs are pretty amazing. Try the Club or Fat Boy or or Italian subs. Personally, my favorite is the Philly Cheesesteak. There's plenty of juicy and tender meat seasoned just right on a beautifully toasted roll. It really is outstanding. All their subs come ATW (all the way) with lettuce, tomato, mayo and oil & vinegar. They even put out a pretty tasty gyro. It's loaded with tender seasoned meat and really delicious. The parking lot is mostly adequate but can get pretty crowded, fortunately there are nearby businesses with additional parking so it's never really an issue. Be aware this is a neighborhood store so small groups of people do sometimes congregate outside in front of the store to hang out for a few minutes but it's never a problem. I'm glad to have Mr. Food Mart in the neighborhood, it's a solid choice to pick up some essentials or grab a quick meal.

For entrees I got the lobster ravioli and my husband got the sea bass. The lobster ravioli was good and they give you a lot of food. My only complaint was that the sauce overpowered the flavor of the lobster. Perhaps if they give less sauce then it would be better. My husband really enjoyed his sea bass and had no complaints. I went on my birthday so they gave us a free dessert. The tiramisu was light and not too sweet. The portion for the tiramisu was also huge so we got to take it home Overall I would love to go back again and try more of their happy hour or lady's night!

I have been to other locations in the past but I decided to give this one a try. I would say they are all the same with a few exceptions. This particular location is in another city and the food and customer service are different. I ordered a turkey burger combo which consisted of a turkey burger in a thick bun along with a drink and french fries. The turkey burger was pretty good and my fries were hot, the problem was done of my fries were not completely done, some were undercooked. The customer service from the employee was short and quite rude!.I was asking questions when I was ordering and he stop answering my questions and immediately pointed to the screen which I thought was rude!. Another concern I forgot to mention, the bathroom was quite dirty and the women's bathroom was out of order for whatever reason! I walked in and propped the door open with my feet long enough for me to wash my hands before I ate!. Would I return to this particular location?. Probably not!.
