WARNING: Please get a second opinion before paying this company anything. Our property lost power, and Deep Electric was called to diagnose the issue. We were told that the electrical panel and wiring were defective and that repairs would cost $2,997. We were informed that the situation was serious enough to justify immediate repairs, so we paid the amount requested upfront. After taking our payment, Deep Electric then suggested that an additional component might also need replacement, potentially increasing the cost by nearly $20,000. Fortunately, before authorizing any further work, we hired a second licensed electrician. Unlike Deep Electric, the second electrician first contacted OUC to verify the status of the electrical service. OUC confirmed that the outage was caused by an OUC error and that power had been disconnected by mistake. The result? There was no failed electrical panel. There was no failed wiring. There was no major electrical repair required. The problem was not with the house at all. Deep Electric performed no repairs, solved no problem, and yet retained our $2,997 payment. After learning the true cause of the outage, we repeatedly contacted Deep Electric by email, text message, and phone requesting a refund. Every attempt was ignored. No meaningful response. No explanation. No refund. We have documentation from the independent electrician supporting these findings. In my opinion, this experience demonstrated an alarming lack of proper diagnosis, a willingness to recommend extremely expensive repairs before verifying the actual cause of the outage, and a complete disregard for customer concerns once payment had been collected. If we had not sought a second opinion, we could have spent tens of thousands of dollars on repairs that were never needed. Please protect yourself. It's a rip-off. Consumers beware! Called to have a breaker replaced in garage panel (I agreed to pay $69.00 for service call). Without ANY in-depth review and no explanation as to why, I was told I needed to upgrade the ENTIRE electrical panel for a cost of $7999! He also recommended a power surge protector WHICH I ALREADY HAD INSTALLED BY OCU(?). I told him all I needed was a circuit breaker replaced and was quoted a price of $1247. I was then offered a series of payment options. I reminded him that all I wanted was a breaker replaced and if I truly needed to upgrade the entire electrical panel I needed to know why. The response: "Your panel is too small, too many breakers, not enough room(?) and we have better options". I was expecting a technical response like: Your current electrical demands exceed the electrical panel's capacity, or the gauge of the wire on the breaker needed to be changed. It was as if he came to "sell me a package" and not fix the problem (replace the breaker). Please be carefull of this company, they will ripp you off .I recently called them for some minor electric problem at my house. I was told $69 for the service call and the tech will give diagnose and give me the estimate before proceeding. Once the tech came by the name of jeff who i think is the owner he tells me i have to pay $270 for him to diagnose the problem .I threw him out of my house but i feel sorry for so many other people who paid $600 for one bad outlet or switch. Horrible customer service. Came two hours late to my house. Insulting me in my own home. Said it would be free to find out the issue. Come to find out, they charged me 69.00 just to tell me it would cost 300 to diagnose the issue. They were very rude, never directly answered my questions. read more

Wish I would have read these reviews before I called them. We had a terrible experience with this company and highly caution anyone from using them. I was told the same thing about the service call fee being applied towards the cost of the work. Their estimate for adding an exterior outlet was ridiculous. Frankly, we could tell from their attitude that they just didn't want to do it so they made it so high that we wouldn't hire them. When we called to discuss it with their manager, he told us he still had to charge us the service fee but he'd make it up to us by letting us apply that fee to another job we needed done, but when we tried to get him to send someone out, he put us off and then became unresponsive. They charged $69 to come to my house to estimate the work. I wanted them to replace 20 outlets and switches. Their estimate came out to be $1600. Needless to say I didn't use them. They wasted my entire morning from work. They kept trying to give me a sales pitch for other work I didn't want. Don't waste your time with that outfit read more

Update: Duke energy send Ferran and they came out and replaced the water heater under warranty and only charged $175 to replace a bad breaker for the water heater. I would recommend Ferran anytime. read more

They sent a fellow out to bid the job $1700. Gave them down payment, 1/2 $938. Owner Jeff came out oh they way under bid this job. I supplied all of the necessities, also 5 trips to the "3 witnesses store in one day, oh we need this, oh we're sorry that was the wrong one, uh oh, we need 3 more, we're sorry, oh we're sorry that was the wrong thing, guy at the counter replied to me, Who in the world it's doing your work? Oh them? My son and I fired them on camera and they kept coming back. My property states smile your on camera. I told them if it was going to be more than $1700 I had estimates from other companies I'd rather do the work. This company is deceptive, cheaters, and liars. Took them 5 months to replace 3 existing electrical panel boxes, and they failed inspections 3 times! Plus they jacked the bill up to over $4,200.00 2 more witnesses Hmmmm is this a company you'd like to hire? Deep Electric don't hire then you'll be sorry! My freedomof doesn't and truth!
