After a couple…read moreof months taking the Boot Camp H2O class, I began to be optimistic about my abilities to improve my swimming and water survival skills because Igor was very good at observing and assessing my areas of need while I swim, and giving feedbacks on what I need to do in order to swim better. As a former teacher myself, I understand that a teacher's ability to assess, differentiate, and facilitate learning in ways that would meet the unique needs of every learner is what produces good results in students. With that said, my swimming and water survival skills has dramatically improved as the result of Igor's good instructional practices. He has been patient, and creative with ways to teach me to be a better swimmer. During my sessions, he has implemented swimming drills to help me gain muscle memory to master certain swim strokes. He has consistently given me feedback after every activity to help me correct, adjust and improve my skills. I never thought it was possible to be a proficient swimmer, but Igor has definitely made me see otherwise.

I can't emphasize my glee in this program enough. Last summer we had a lovely gal leading us but in retrospect it was not nearly the workout that we are getting today. Karen is fabulous. . Geared toward 55 and older like I said. My sciatic nerve is completely loose. My flexibility has improved as well as my attitude! A very nice group of people that want to improve their flexibility and health in general. We laugh at ourselves. It's a great class. We are in it to win it. I hope you will join us.

After spending two years in swim school with very little progress, this truly feels like the best money we've ever spent. We realized that we're actually spending less with these one-on-one private lessons with Coach Rasha and getting more out of each lesson than the swim schools -- We honestly joke that we should've asked the swim school for a refund on all that time and money. Working with Coach Rasha has been a complete game changer and we can't imagine going back to swim schools ever again. He gave individualized tips for each kiddo/parent based on their skill level and vibe and was patient and encouraging. Our daughter definitely built skill (blowing bubbles, putting her face in the water, kicking, letting her body be parallel in the water, etc) and confidence in the water in those few lessons. Instead, several employees walked right past us, made eye contact, and never even said hello or asked if we needed help. First impressions matter, especially when you're working with children who may already be nervous about trying something new. The lack of a welcoming atmosphere made my child feel uncomfortable and lose any enthusiasm for participating. We ended up leaving before getting started. To make matters worse, when I explained the situation and requested a refund, I was told no. That was incredibly disappointing and only reinforced the feeling that customer service is not a priority here. There may be talented coaches, but talent alone doesn't make a great club. A little kindness, professionalism, and basic courtesy go a long way. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.If you want it to be even stronger, I can make it more blunt while still keeping it credible and avoiding statements that could undermine the review.
