    Reservation area

Went with the family for the first time and had an amazing time. We had a reserved area with a picnic table, lounge chairs, and chairs on the water. Kids went on the obstacle course, played volleyball, and went in the paddle boards. We were there all day a had a blast. Totally recommend it specially for families. Everything was clean. Can't wait to go back

Website doesn't state obstacle course is only 1 hour when selecting, or allow you to select multiple hours

My kids had an absolute blast (teenagers)! While it was a bit unclear online that I was only purchasing 1 hour of the obstacle course, it gave the kids a chance to go try out the kayaks, water bikes, and paddle boards they also offer for $10 an hour! They had a great time. While online it states NO OUTSIDE FOOD(not even eating food at your car), it seemed like if you paid for a party package you could bring in anything you'd like. The taco truck they have supplying food was very overpriced and extremely sub par (also don't carry salt to make up for the lack of flavor) chicken tenders and chicken Buffalo fries, both contain cheap frozen flavorless nuggets

The Adventure Lagoon may be the most fun I've had at any water park I've ever been to! When you are here it feels like you are at a beach oasis and can easily forget you aren't on a vacation. The entire staff here are all exceptional and were very accommodating and friendly, especially Ruth! She has such a warm smile and is so sweet, friendly and helpful and made the time my daughter, husband I spent here comfortable and an absolute blast. A huge thank you to David (the owner), Buzz, Melanie, Addyson, and Jack. They are an incredible team here and do such an amazing job making Adventure Lagoon as awesome as it is. The obstacle course is so much fun!!! There are so many fun things to do here and it is a great time for adults, kids and families! Especially with the VIP experience, being able to enjoy a nice private shaded area with ample seating, chairs, lounge chairs and a table. We also really enjoyed the paddle boat rentals and had fun on the kayaks as well. Overall this was the most fun I've had anywhere in a very long time and the best water park experience. I'm so happy this is close by and cannot wait to come back with more of my family! 10/10 experience, thank you!!!

literally one of the funnest things i've done in a whileeee. i loved going on the slides and racing with my family members, i recommend for families who want to have fun while also being in water. i love the beach but this is much more fun :) i would definitely come again especially since its summertime and the weather is perfect.

What an amazing oasis! We found this place over the weekend and for $50pp the kids can play all day ($40 entrance and $10 for an hour on the inflatables). We didn't need a cabana as there was plenty of room, but I'd love to do a birthday party here for my kids sometime. They have a well priced snack bar and the place was clean and well maintained. Parking is free. We will definitely be back! I wish they did a season pass.

We celebrated my son's 12th birthday yesterday and we all had a blast! The service was top notch, the staff were friendly and helpful. We got VIP service. Everyone was so friendly. Shout out to Dave and Buzz! It was a HOT day. The shaded party area with loungers, chairs and table made it a great place to have a kids party. The water was clean, much cleaner than a lake water. As an adult, I had no issues getting in the water. I had a blast with the kids on the obstacle course and enjoyed floating in the water. It was perfect temperature. Kids had a blast in the kayaks, water bicycles and has so much fun they stayed until closing. There were outdoor showers to rinse off, clean bathrooms, a food truck and an outdoor shop to purchase snacks, drinks, beach toys, waterproof cases and anything else you forgot to bring! All in all, highly recommend. We plan to come back again this summer with the kids!

Great experience especially if you have little ones, teens or husbands who love adventure and climbing lol. Super fun especially on hot days. Perfect for all.

The obstacle course was so much fun they had a large variety of obstacles, slides, and platforms to jump from! The entrance fee is $35 and an extra $10 per activity. The main attraction is the obstacle course but they also have other things you can rent such as paddle boards, kayaks, and even water bikes! They have showers, a changing room, and clean restrooms. I would definitely come back! Everyone here is very nice and helpful. I broke my nail and the lifeguard offered to wrap it for me. I'm sad I didn't find this place sooner

Kiddie area (only area without an additional cost)

Wholesome family fun, but not cheap. Everything is piecemeal. $35 gets you in the park with access to first come, first serve seating, access to the kiddie area (suitable for toddlers and younger little kids specifically), and access to the water to splash around. Everything else, you pay separate. $10 extra dollars for one hour on the obstacle course (the inflatables, there are no free inflatables aside from a couple toddler-size options in the kiddie area). $10 extra dollars for an hour on the kayak $10 extra dollars for an hour on the paddle board $10 extra dollars for an hour on the row boat So if you wanted to do everything once, it's really $85 per person. Which, if you go for the whole day, that's not a bad price. You just can't go in with the mindset that it's $35 or else it's going to be frustrating. They offer VIP seating, which is a small section near the rentals. But it's $150. They do not allow food in the park. They check your bags to ensure you don't have any outside food or drinks. Water is fine. They also didn't have a problem with us bringing in our Starbucks. They have a snack shack with lots of options (chips, crackers, ice cream sandwiches, etc.). Four bags of chips cost $12. They have a taco truck there from open to close. It was amazing! I ordered two burritos, a taco plate, and a quesadilla, and it came to $53 bucks. The portions were big so we could have split plates to save money and avoid leftovers. They also have a Maui Ice truck that is also there daily. It was delicious!!! But warning, the syrup attracts bees. We had SWARMS of bees around us the entire time we were eating the shaved ice. The owner of the truck had a squirt bottle and said it was normal for the bees to flock to the treats. The service honestly could have been much better. They all knew the function of their jobs really well but they did not deliver friendly service at all. The entrance clerk was mostly concerned if we were sneaking in food, the ticket clerk seemed annoyed by our questions, and the guy at the rentals was just going through the motions. We rented a bicycle boat for an hour and the girls wanted the green one. When I asked the guy for the green one, he said no because he already untied the red one. To be clear, it would have taken him less than 30 seconds to accommodate our request. And if it's against policy to do so, he could have communicated in a more customer-service oriented manner. I also found two old life jackets and a scarf floating in the kiddie area. I fished them out and there were multiple dead bugs on them so it seems like they were there for a while. Ages 10 and under are required to wear a life jacket the entire time, even in the kiddie area that is only 2-3 feet deep. Our 10-year old boys were getting annoyed with the life vests--but I get it, safety first. There were lifeguards all around, except no lifeguards on duty in the kiddie area yesterday when we went. A woman near us ran from her lounge chair into the water screaming when she saw her 5 year old trapped under an upside down tricycle boat. The kiddo was fine. They have cute activities like tether ball, jumbo jenga, jumbo connect four. But it was too hot so we didn't do those this visit. Not a perfect experience but I'd definitely go back. The kids had fun. Tips for next time or first timers: - The parking lot is small. Get there early - Arrive early for good seats (it's first come, first serve, unless you drop $150 for VIP seats) - Expect to spend $35 to enter plus $10 per person per additional hour you spend there - Expect to spend money on food - Spend the day there to get the best bang for your buck

No you cannot bring an ice chest.

You can bring chairs and an umbrella as long as it's the kind that you dig in the sand. But honestly there is no need, plenty of shade and chairs to go around

However, if you are traveling from far away, or even out of state/ country, this zoo may not be your cup of tea. Here's why. They don't have a huge variety of animals here. If you are wanting to see all the animals, then you should go to the San Diego Zoo. That zoo reigns supreme of all Zoo's for Souther California. The Orange County Zoo is nice, and great. However, they don't have a huge variety of animals here. They also have lots of disabled animals. If you are looking to see healthy animals, again the San Diego Zoo is your place. Now cost wise, this zoo is way cheaper than the San Diego Zoo. That is something to consider. I think all zoos are wonderful because they house and care for animals. I do think it is worth knowing what you want to see at the zoo and then decide which one will fit your needs. That being said, The Orange County Zoo is a great zoo. It is clean and you will see some animals for a very cheap price. If you don't mind seeing animals who are being rehabilitated, this is a good zoo.

You can cancel or postpone deliveries, up until the day before; there are no membership or delivery fees. I'm usually up late, so it doesn't matter to me if they deliver late at night. It also helps if you give them a code to your building or a phone number they can call you at, so they can get in; the same way you give it to Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods, Doordash, etc.. I'm happy with the service and food. I recently tried the Corned Beef, from the Cream Co. Meats, along with the potatoes and parsley and really liked it. Photo below. The gravy was from Whole Foods. I also tried the Alexandre vanilla yogurt with the fresh blueberries and granola I added to my delivery and really like that for breakfast. I liked the blueberries from Farm Fresh, better than the blueberries, imported from Peru, that I got at Whole Foods the same week. The food tastes great and I get to eat healthy, while supporting local farmers to the Los Angeles area and/or California with the same money I use to buy groceries elsewhere. Corned Beef & Potatoes To make the corned beef: remove corned beef from the package and brine. Follow directions on the packaging to cover it in cold water in a large pot, bring to a boil, cover, simmer/cook on low heat for about 3 hours and 20 minutes. Not on the directions: I removed the meat from the water, placed it on a piece of aluminum foil and baked it in the oven/toaster oven for 12-15 minutes at 425 to crisp the top. Removed it from the oven, let it sit for a few minutes to cool, before slicing. While it was baking in the oven, removed any bits from the meat water, then boiled the potatoes in the water and made the gravy. Steak, Mashed Potatoes & Broccoli Peel about 3 large potatoes, cut into chunks, bring water to boil, add the potatoes and cook for 20 minutes, drain, put back into the pot, mash with 1 1/4-1/2 stick of butter, add a little milk, stir until mashed. Bring some water to a boil in a shallow pan, add the broccoli, cook for about 4-5 minutes, drain. Let the steak sit at room temp for about 15 min. Mix some softened butter with slices of fresh garlic, heat the pan on medium high heat, add some oil, cook the steak for about 3 min one side, then turn over to cook for another 2 min, add the softened butter w/garlic mixture, fresh rosemary, spoon the melted butter over it, remove the meat from the pan, serve with some of the juice spooned over it. Chicken, Rice & Lettuce Spread the Peruvian Pollo A La Brasa Seasoning Sauce and spread it over the chicken thighs. Let sit in the fridge for 30 min to a few hours. Line a baking pan with aluminum and spread a little olive oil on it. Place the chicken on the pan. I add a little olive oil to the tops of the chicken, but don't have to. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. Serve with rice & salad and spoon some of the pan juice over the meat. Both Peruvian Sauce and Sweetwater Creek chicken from Farm Fresh to You. Rinse 1 1/2 cups of the rice until the water runs clear. Fill a pot with a about 2 1/4 cups of water, add the rice, add a little olive oil, bring rice to boil, stir, turn to low heat and cover. Cook for 10 min. Then turn the heat off, stir, and cook for another 10 minutes. The residual heat should cook it without leaving water, but if there is still a bit of water, turn heat to low. Fluff rice with fork, remove from stove, let it stand still without cover for 5-10 min. Butter optional. True Origin Sushi Rice and Vital Farms butter from Farm Fresh to You. Chopped or sliced lettuce. Nunes Company Romaine lettuce from Farm Fresh to You. Steak Diane Let the 1 large steak or two smaller steaks sit at room temperature for about 10-15 min. Heat up a frying pan med high heat, add a bit of oil, cook the steak/s for a few minutes each side, remove them to a plate while you get on with cooking everything else, add about 1 tablespoon of butter with 2 sliced garlic to the pan, cook for about 2 min, try not to let the butter and garlic burn, then add about 1 package of sliced Shitake mushrooms and 1.5 tablespoons of butter, stir and cook for about 3-4 minutes, turn the heat lower, add a little bit of white wine, Cognac, etc. and let the alcohol cook off for about 2 minutes (don't let the house catch fire doing this), add about 1/2 cup of beef broth, a tiny bit of mustard, little bit of Worcestershire sauce and about 1/2-2/3 cup of heavy cream, stir, bring to a boil, turn to low heat and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes to thicken it, add the steak back into the pan and some fresh thyme. Cook for about 3-4 more minutes, then serve with potatoes, rice, etc..

I later received an email saying my box had shipped, and noticed a charge on my account for something I never ordered. To make matters worse, we're leaving for the holidays, so the food will arrive while we're gone -- a total waste and extremely annoying. The percentage of negative reviews is probably not a blip on the great scheme of things. People always writes reviews when something negative happens but when things go right majority of people dont. You go here and expect madness. Kids everywhere, crowds, etc. You want tranquil all to yourself feel and vibes, go vacation to a remote island somewhere. This is for the kids. Plenty of things to do. The water slides are enough to keep kids having fun for a while. For added fees there are other optional activities but seems more geared toward younger kids. so why 4 out of 5 stars? Because I've been to the one in northern california (manteca). This property seems older. More crowded, and just doesnt have the same lodge vibes. There simply isnt the same WOW factor as the Manteca location. There is no parking garage in Manteca but instead a vast land of parking spaces. So the Lodge just commands attention and shows you are about to enter something grand. Here they use a parking structure and although efficient it just doesnt give of same vibes. The "Grand Lobby" here is also just meh. The area and space seems so fragmented and doesnt have a good flow. The manteca location is structured so well. You walk in from the main entrance and you are really in a Grand Lobby with the towering fireplace. Here its off to the side and now filled with arcade games. That fireplace is usually the photo spot for families in Manteca. Here you really dont have that. People have said the waterpark itself is better here. If it is, I didn't notice it too much. It isn't that much better to really matter. The wave pool here definitely is stronger which is very cool. But the lazy river, and everything else seems on par. I believe they have an extra attraction with the surf/wake board simulator. So IMO, the Manteca location is better overall. But this is a much better location being in SoCal with lots of other things to do here. While Manteca is basically nothing but Great Wolf Lodge.

We hit the arcade for about 15 minutes, they didn't really like it (but it's under construction, they were moving machines up into the lobby). -I brought chocolate croissants and muffins, we ate bfast in the room. The rooms have large mini fridges, there's a small microwave where the ice machines are on each floor, there's a good enough weird coffee machine in each room. -we loaded our regular bags into the car, checked out of our of the room at 9:40, got into the line for the pool. -got plenty of chairs together for the adults. -my advice: you do not needs chairs for each kid, especially older kids. They stop by, sit, and bounce. Most people eat at the tables, there are signs that people can only sit at tables for 30 min, we never had a problem eating at tables (it's so much easier). Don't waste a bunch of chairs on kids who never use them.... -the bar drinks at the pool were very very good. the Bloody Mary was the best one I've ever had. Yep. We had a mango pineapple rum drink that was so good, not too sweet at all. -every staff member we encountered was on point, very helpful and kind. -I charged everything using my wristband, very easy. CONS: -I've been several times. In my option, the pizza place is the only food worth getting when you are at the pool. The Bucket food place in the pool area is just not good, it's very cafeteria and expensive. -I saw about 15 people slip and fall, mostly near the life jacket stand outside the wave pool. Like full on hard falls. An employee has a floor squeegee, but it's pretty useless. Even people walking slipped. -the headboards in the renovated rooms are pretty bad and dangerous. They have posts spaced out like 5 inches that have right-edge corners, so, sharp. And the pillows are not enough and not fluffy. When you lean back, your head slams into those pillar posts. My daughter's head went right between two posts so she hit both sides of her head on the posts. I hit my head too. Who the hell thought that was a great design? After that issue, I noticed all the hard corners on everything in the room. My kids are older now, but parents or younger kids, take note.
