I went into this feeling extremely skeptical. I'd never been hypnotized before but I have, like so…read moremany other people, seeing the gimmicky magicshow trick where you go on stage and for the rest of the evening you cluck like a chicken when someone says the number 11 or something like that. I grew up in Dorchester so I am distrustful by nature, yet for some reason Eileen put me at ease immediately. She has a very calm demeanor and just comes off like she really knows what she's talking about. I trusted her almost immediately and found myself telling her things that I hadn't even honestly admitted to myself. I went to her to rid myself of my sugar addiction and for the most part I think that it worked. It has been a little less than a week but I have found myself in situations where I would normally have over-indulged in sweets but I have been definitely taking things in moderation. For example, I got on a flight yesterday and I would normally have all sorts of gummy bears and Lifesaver treats for the flight but when I went to purchase my snacks in the airport I chose a much healthier option. In fact, I don't even remember seeing the gummies but I know that they were there. It was great meeting her and I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to get this done. I definitely recommend her and will continue to use her for things throughout the years even though I live in Arizona and she is in Massachusetts!

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep.
