We got there right at 7, a whole hour before they closed (Monday hours listed as 10 AM- 8PM), and watched 2 people go inside. Right as we are walking to the entrance, the metal roll down door behind the automatic door gets thrown shut. If their hours aren't up to date, maybe they should try fixing that. Or try posting about closing early. Maybe they're trying to go off of Salt Lake time? But they're on the Nevada side because they have to be to be legal. So, they SHOULD be operating off of Nevada time. This has happened multiple times to us and to other people where we show up an hour to hour and a half before closing. A friend of mine mentioned closing early!! Insane to arrive at the store @ 7:17 over half an hour of closing time. I arrived 7:17 and the store was closed... How could you. Last time I've arrived around the same time and they were still open. Drove so far to come here for literally no reason.. Other than closing early, I personally love their deals and the concentrates are great I love em I go about every paycheck and usually get AT LEAST 2 grams and can make it work till next pay. I had seen an advertisement that was promoting a deal that was 2 grams of gunslinger concentrates for the price of 30$. So as I was giving my order he asked me if I was a rewards member I said no. He said ok, I then proceeded to tell him I wanted the advertised product the 2 for 30, I even showed him a picture of the promotion. When I got to the car and opened the bag to get the receipt, because once they put it in the bag they don't let you open it UNTIL you leave. I looked at the recipe and he charged me 50 dollars for the 2 grams. Confused I went inside to ask about it they said oh yea you're right go up to the counter and they will help you . So I did and the guy there was about to refund me the money UNTIL he realized I paid with card then he excused himself talking to the fellow employee that over charged me, Later coming back to tell me you're not getting any money back. WHATTTTTT??? YOURE JUST GOING TO TAKE MY MONEY? Never thought I would ever experience something like this in the cannabis industry. Disappointing... Very clean and offers a variety of products and more edibles then my local dispensary. Prices are also much better here than my local dispensary. They offer an extra discount for medical card holders which makes it even extra nice. Oh and get this!! They take credit cards like amex, Visa u name it they take it. I don't know how but I don't ask questions. Plenty of parking and never too busy. One star loss is last time I didn't have my card printed and they don't take it off the phone so having to use the gas station email and print. Anyway I went waaay out of my way. I personally question the quality of what they are selling. The tinctures seem to do almost nothing. But get this, they cut the portions inside the spike THC by half and charged the same as for the same stuff with double the servings that I bought just a couple of months ago. Huge price increase. The weed is dry! If I'm buying top shelf, I would like it to be prime!! I understand it's kinda in the middle of nowhere & it may not fully be their fault, but dang. I would suggest they move to glass containers or something other than plastic bags. I asked them to recommend me items to help me maintain a certain feeling I kept saying how I cannot be tired and sleepy for work I usually use sativa but wanted to see what hybrid options they had and the lady kept saying I should do indica at higher prices. She had no idea the difference between Distillates and live resin. I finally obtained a medical marijuana card, but I didn't have the actual card yet from the mail. Deep roots would not give me a discount with the letter from the doctor that's supposed to serve as the medical card until you get the card. Those SOBs made me pay full price even though I had a medical card and approved from the doctor. These people are very short with you, don't care about you, and will not accommodate you!!!! Worst experience of my life!! I had to go home and call all corporate numbers and cannabis compliance numbers just a de-escalate from my experience!!! I need a refund for the difference, and I want everybody retrained and a formal apology!!!! I wouldn't treat somebody like that in a million years!!!! Very limited edible selection, $30 for ten and although the gummy size was the same, the THC content varied was one of two types available. Also, I asked what the hybrid percentage was for a product and the "assistant" or whatever they call them said they didn't know and couldn't look on the actual package (tucked away somewhere) unless we were purchasing. I then called the deep roots number and they said they were accepting appointments . Couldn't get in either way. Even though the parking lot was completely empty, the attendant said that my partner could not enter the store unless he was making a purchase. We've never been here before and have no idea what is available. We went out of our way to come to this store and planned to buy something, just not sure what. I guess you need to do some deep research before visiting this place so that you don't get the snarky and condescending customer service.
