I went to my appointment with the thought of removing the toenail, as per all the previous doctors I had shown it to - NP, PCP and even Dermatologists and he made me feel at ease and told me not to worry, and that we will work on it with his treatment (so practical and easy to follow) to eradicate the issue. I left the appointment feeling confident and worry free. The staff was very sweet and guided me well. The clinic was clean and organized. Highly recommended!

I went to my primary care physician and another podiatrist and received unsatisfactory recommendations. I was then referred to Dr. Roith and immediately appreciated the way he looked for and addressed the "root cause" of my foot pain and developed a surgical plan accordingly, as a final resort. That foot surgery was nothing short of life-changing. Now in my twenties, I am living a very active, pain-free life, and am able to do all things I missed out on as a teenager due to foot pain. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from KC Vascular and General Surgery. My…read moreprimary care physician had noticed a substantial bulge in my groin area during a checkup and confirmed it was a hernia. He recommended I contact Kansas Vascular and General Surgery to schedule an operation to address the hernia. On my first visit to KC Vascular the Dr. I was referred to felt the same bulge and said oh yeah that is a hernia let's schedule you for surgery and turned me over to his admin team to schedule the surgery which I did. Several weeks later I received an invoice for that visit in the amount of $70.00. I immediately contacted the billing office to ask why I was being charged $70.00 to simply tell me I had a hernia when my Dr. had already told me I had a hernia and just needed to schedule surgery. The agreed that seemed odd they would charge me for that and indicated she put a note in to the local office to call me to review the charges and contact me if valid. The next call I received was from MediCredit. They not only did not respond to my inquiry on the bill they just sent me right to collections which now impacts your credit. If your Dr tells you that you have a hernia, do not schedule an appointment for the surgeon to simply confirm it as they will charge you for that. As if healthcare and insurance for healthcare and the surgury itself aren't enough of an expense already, now I am being harassed by collections to pay another $70.00 to simply confirm what my Dr sent me in there for. As opposed to discussing the charges with me and validating them, KC Vascular just sent me right to collections. I do not think that is an appropriate way to treat a patient and do not recommend seing them as a result of my experience ttying to discuss a charge, only to be sent immediately to collections impacting my credit. I think this is a terrible way to treat a customer/patient.

The $200 you pay is solely for him to read a couple questions on a paper and auscultate your heart and lungs for less than a minute. He does not explain which shots you are missing, or nothing! He also wanted me to redo all my labs (even though they were less than 2 weeks old). He also claimed I had to submit my paperwork 60 days after he signed it (again, clear signs that he has no idea how the system works)!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY going to him.

They are very careful to be sure the procedures they're doing are correct - it involves a bit of paperwork but nothing outrageous. Dr. Heiniger was great and even called the evening of the procedure to make sure things were okay. I think people (myself included) might be more prone to write about frustrating experiences, but in this case, there was nothing to be concerned about. St. Luke's also called the afternoon after the 2nd procedure to check up. 5 stars.

I answered the initial text (financial estimate for the surgery) that I would bring payment the day of surgery. No problem. Everything went smoothly and they got their payment on the DAY OF THE SURGERY. They got paid in full right then. I will NOT pay ahead of time. So this second surgery - 2 weeks later - they once again state in the text that I have the option to pay on the day of surgery so again, that's how I want to do it. Well, I have been HOUNDED with numerous phone calls and texts to pay for the second surgery a week ahead of time and then numerous times this week. Yet, I had to call them today to find out when I should be there tomorrow morning for the surgery. Just now, yet ANOTHER phone call about asking me to pay ahead of time! This is ridiculous! You'll get your payment at the time of surgery! One call about this would have been understandable - but numerous texts and phone calls is just too much. I answered the FIRST text about the payment that I'd bring it the day of the surgery. You had NO PROBLEM getting my payment for the FIRST surgery so back off! The nurses at 12541 Foster St. - during the surgery - are very nice and work with you to make you comfortable. BUT I am DONE with St. Lukes after this stalking me about payment. Offer the option to pay ahead of time on the financial estimate and leave it alone! I will NOT pay you ahead of time no matter how many times you hound me to do so.

We were warmly greeted, not only provided location but given guide to the patient room elevators. The Catholic hospital is maintained very well, with great signage and directions. The natural light makes it feel less like you'd expect. My family member's care team was present, caring and handled my family's questions along with making sure they were comfortable.

I was able to easily schedule the appointment and his office immediately sent me paperwork to fill out and bring with me. I was able to get in rather quick. I had previous tests done so I emailed those to him and brought some with me. At my appointment I was seen on time and he was extremely professional. Without a doubt he knew my gallbladder had to come out. He looked at all of my tests and listened to me unlike the other doctors I had seen. The only focused on tests they ordered not previous records. Dr. Narciso is also working with my gyn to peform surgery together so that scar tissue can be removed at the same time. This office truly cares about patients and getting them back to good health.
