Hurts my heart to see so many low ratings. Really sorry if people had bad experiences, so I'll throw mine in just to hopefully balance things a bit. Yeah the wait was a little long... a LITTLE long. I had managed to slash my wrist open on the jagged edge of a steel fence post. Note to self... Steel fence posts don't bend easily. Unfortunately, I did it at night, after hours... And I thought i'd just have it looked at in the morning. I didn't realize how bad it was until I pulled the bandage off, and doctor looked at it and said "yeah, you need stitches." For context... I'm a farmer. Almost didn't go in at all. But I was treated very well, doctor was very honest and informative about each step along the way, and I was very happy with the results. And only nine stitches... so really, how bad was it? For a farming community, or at least what used to be a farming community, we are very fortunate to have this service. We arrived at 7:15 with a deeply embedded fish hook stuck in my son's finger. The hours state that they close at 8. The woman told me that they were at capacity and they can't see anymore patients. My car plus one additional truck were the only cars in the parking lot. She lied just so she could leave work early and made use drive to Spokane. The ER in Spokane told us that is a common story they hear. Terrible, uncaring people. Once we arrived at a facility in Spokane we waited for 90 minutes before we were seen. Then it took the provider about 10 minutes from start to finish to resolve this. We could have been in and out of the facility in Deer Park 30 minutes before closing time. read more

This rural community medical practice group has no direct number to Urgent Care at this date: October 11, 2024. My last vist in June required a lab specimen sent to LabCorp. My name was mispelled, I received no results. My primary physican received no test results. I am being billed for non-payment now as Delinquent. My insurance can't process my claim because my patient name was misspelled. I did discuss this with a billing representative for the practice. I contacted one clinic practioner's receptionist today to request a note be sent to the billing department. I hope for better care for all of us in this community and our visitors! read more

Friendly staff, ZERO follow up. I walked into the Deer Park Urgent Care on the advice of my primary provider, as they didn't have an appointment available. I had a throat issue. They refuse to answer the phone, in fact their website actually states "During the pandemic, we are not taking incoming phone calls.  If you need an office visit, please come on over." Really? At the clinic, waiting in my car, I was phoned by a medical person within one hour, not seen. Based on my information they collected, in the parking lot, a throat swab, a nasal swab and a blood sample (finger prick). The very friendly technician told me I could go home and would receive a phone call with the results. Time passed with no phone call. After a few days, I emailed the only address on their website contact (infoUC@dpfcc.com), again with no response. I had to travel for one week so I couldn't just walk back in. Fifteen days since the test had passed with no response. My insurance company indicated they have billed me for the service. I telephoned Deer Park Family Care Clinic and scheduled an appointment with my primary physician. Just out of curiosity, I asked the staff member if they could "see" my test results from Deer Park Urgent Care. In fact they can. Within 30 seconds he looked up and gave me the results for all three tests. If you are in need of health care, PLEASE do your health and body a favor and go anywhere but here. Their follow through with me was non existent. I called in to talk with a nurse I've seen several times to ask a few questions about an issue I'm having. Unfortunately the person answering the phone would not allow me to talk with Scott. The nurse I've seen several times. Just needed to ask a couple questions to see if my problem warranted coming in to be checked out. He would not allow me to speak with the nurse. Would definitely not recommend calling them. Not even for severe flatulence. read more

Absolutely the worst health care I have ever experienced. Waited five hours in a half empty waiting room only to see a bumbling idiot. Leaving with inadequate antibiotics gave the infection opportunity to spread throughout body. Vowed to never return, went to Providence Urgent Care in Spokane, after making reservation, wait time was less than ten minutes and I was properly diagnosed and treated by a professional. read more

I went in for bleeding in my ear. Dr said it was a zit that had popped. Haha. She put a cotton ball in my ear with vaseline on it. It fell out and my ear was still bleeding I had to go into see a Ear, Nose and Throat Dr. I had a ruptured ear drum. Still had to pay for the misdiagnoses. I disputed the charge cause they didnt help with my bleeding ear. They told me I should of came back in. Ahhh nope so they could charge my insurance again and make me pay more. read more

Not sure how you call yourself urgent care when there 2 people in the waiting room and it take almost a hour to be taken to the exam room where you sit for another 1/2 hour. So not a fan of this place if it's something simple there not bad. If your child's sick and just need some antibiotics there ok SLOW but ok. If it comes to anything more then the average flu or cold don't bother they won't look into anything or they will just try to pass you off to the next hospital so you can start all over again. read more

The staff is friendly and prompt. Courteous. Dr. Kruze is absolutely awesome and takes his time with the exam and full professional explanation of what is going on and treatment. Dr. Kruze goes beyond to remind you to come back within a certain time frame if not better or you need additional care. read more

Don't waste your time! Spent over 3 hours to be seen(non Covid). Confirmed infection and was told they would send prescription orders to pharmacy. No prescriptions sent and office wouldn't answer calls so had to go to ER for decent care. Office staff are rude and unprofessional. read more

This place is HORRIBLE! In every way, avoid! Dr. Could have cared less that I was in pain, didn't do an exam, basically walked in and told me it could be a lot of things, and I walked out. They took a urine sample, it's been a month, still don't know the result. Of course they called to update my insurance because they needed to bill them for the consultation that actually never took place, accused me of actually not having insurance, and if I did it was probably through the state. I gave her my updated insurance info that is actually through my husbands employer so she can bill them for services that weren't rendered. I have tried contacting them to file a complaint, with zero response. I left and went to the emergency room, had a severe intestinal infection. I will be reporting this Dr.! read more

As always, things seem to happen Friday night or the weekend so we were unable to go to our regular provider. The closest place was DP Urgent care. We did not have an appointment, so we were walk in's. Upon arrival we noticed there were 3 cars in the parking lot, including my own! The waiting room had a couple patients waiting....The office was clean. Receptionist was very professional and friendly. While sitting there filling out the paperwork, I noticed when patients went back to see the doctor they didn't stay back there long....should have been my heads up. The nurse came into the waiting room to get us and we followed him back. As he was getting his weight and height, he already started asking heath questions in the hallway of the clinic. Once in the room, he took a temperature & made a couple notes then left the room. Approximately 10 minutes later the doctor walked in. An older man with a heavy accent & glasses. He proceeded to ask the appropriate questions but interrupted me every time I tried to answer. I understand he most likely knew what was going on but was quick to end the conversation and office visit. He may have been in the room for a total of 5 minutes. I felt that we were rushed and treated like a number.....for a close-to-empty clinic, I would have thought we would have at least got the full office visit time that we were billed for. read more

Horrible service. Waited for over a hour. Had to listen to the front office girl talk about her date to her girlfriend on her cell. Very unprofessional!! Bathroom was dirty. Did not see a Dr only a NP. Asked for a influenza test did not get it......avoid this place. Go to Spokane for "urgent" care. Update.....1:45 hours still have yet to see a DR. Oh and the nurse "Scott" just asked my 15 year old Daughter if she wants to have her temp taken in and I quote "the mouth or butt". Really? She is not 3. Why would he say that? Receptionist was polite and professional and kept me current on the wait, which for a weekend WA much better than I expected. My experience with ERs have been s minimum of 2 hours, so the 30 minute wait on a Saturday was a blessing. Nurse made me feel at ease and did not make me sit around waiting in a gown for the doctor, who examined me, then determined a needed to get undressed for an x-ray and even offered me a cup of coffee! Receptionist was awesome, from there it got progressively worse. Check-in nurse was okay; not overly warm and fuzzy, but the Dr barely interacted. Zero bedside manner, bad breath and checked the wrong ear as well as barely touching stethoscope to shirt to check lungs. But got what I came for....antibiotic. First time coming to this clinic and using Kaiser. Receptionist was very professional and welcoming. Nurse took me back after about a 4 minute wait. ARNP Dr. came in, calmed me down and was very nice and thorough. I would definitely come back. Great clinic! Total time there and NOT feeling rushed... was maybe 20 in and out. Got a test done on Monday here and was told it's be 72 hours for the results but to call if I didn't get a call from them. I called when I didn't hear from them. Got a will call you back. Than on Sunday I final got someone to give me the results and a lecture on calling them to much... Seriously you can't be bothered to do your job and it is annoying to you that I wouldn't let you get away with it. Considering the medication they had me taking as a precaution was making me so miserable I was prescribed pain pill and nausea medication and told as soon as we got the results if they were negative I could stop taking them can you blame me for wanting an answer. I had let it go that I was the only person in the urgent care when I went on Monday and yet it still took them an hour and a half where I was than seen by 2 people who where unable to locate the supplies they needed to preform the procedure and than couldn't reach the said supplies and dumped them all over the floor but that in combination with this is unbelievable. I had such hopes when they closed the hospital that we'd get a medical facility that was capable of quality care. Save your self and drive to Spokane. read more

We've been here many times. All minor stuff. Mostly urinary tract infections. You have to wait a while but where is that not the case? Always go to the ER in Spokane for anything serious. But my wife is an RN so we are usually accurately self diagnosed before we go. DPUC is close, convenient and we've been very satisfied with the care we have received. Always great service! Yes, you may have to wait, as there are no other medical services available in our small town on the weekend/holiday/after-hours. My family routinely gets xrays, stitches, splints, strep tests and non-life-threatening medical care here (mostly on weekends). We are in so often, they know us by name (and yes we do see a regular Dr). Got tested for flu and strep, last weekend, both came up negative. In 20+ visits, I've never seen the facility dirty. And we have never waited more than an hour. I am grateful to have them and I love the staff. read more

My daughter went to DP Urgent care on Monday for a large cyst on her face, they said they needed to culture for mersa it would take 72 hrs. No word from them so Thursday she called they said they would get back to her now it's Sunday and still no word so we keep calling them today and they keep saying they will get back to us. We've already taken her to Hawthorne Urgent care and they were great, they treated her to ease her pain but need the test results before they can proceed. Never take your loved one to Deer Park as they may die waiting for test results. read more

I broke my pinkie toe out at Loon Lake and this was the closest urgent care facility. I waited in the waiting room for 2.5 hours with my husband, 2 year old, and 3 month old before being seen. The nurse was short, curt, and seemed almost annoyed as she asked me questions back in the exam room. "Do you even want an x-Ray?" She asked. I sort of shrugged and asked if it would change the manner in which they would treat the toe. "Not really" she said rudely. This is my first and only broken bone so I wasn't sure what I needed or what the protocol was. She was about to wheel me to get X-rays when the doctor walked by. She took a 1 second look at my toe and decided it was dislocated and stated "we can't help you here" and went on to explain they don't have the proper anesthetic to numb the foot to put my toe back in place. Once they determined they couldn't help, they were all too eager to usher us out and send us to the new Deaconess Urgent Care in Spokane. IT WAS NIGHT AND DAY. GO TO DEACONESS URGENT CARE INSTEAD AND AVOID THE HEADACHE. And it turns out my toe was broken. read more

I went in on a Wed due to some breathing issues, had a couple of x-rays, the tech tells me after words I have scoliosis! Ah, your not a Dr.! Aren't you to wait till xrays are read by one. Then the Doctor comes in tells me I have a big heart and am in heart failure! Needless to say after more blood tests and xrays and see another Dr there is no problem with my HEART. So scary for 6 days while their mess got figured out! I will go to town from now on. Really big mistake here! read more
