Recently moved to the area, suffered an injury, this was the closest urgent care, the staff was very kind, quick, efficient and caring. Since I needed a follow up to my injury they even put in a referral for a specialist which was unheard of from where I came from. Very helpful and was grateful and thankful for their help. read more

Horrible went in with vertigo, headache., sinus drainage and sore jaw. Took credit card for 110. Deb who was doc looked in my throat saw I had drainage and swollen lymph nodes. Checked my sugar and it was high I let her know just came from Wendy's and had frosty. She said sugar was causing vertigo. I told her it was happening most in morning. What about all the other symptoms. She said no sign of infection so no antibiotics. I was shocked. I let her know I have not taken antibiotics in five years and I never go to doctor unless sick. Still no antibiotics told to go see my regular doctor. Left got text next day asking for another 100+. Went to look at Bill and you have to agree to all these terms to look at it. Called patient advocacy and left mess. No word yet. Bottom line run. Just talked to billing now they say total bill is 354. 12 for sugar test (reasonable). 342 for visit. Asked how much there cheapest visit was they couldn't tell me. Asked if all visits start at 342, couldn't tell me. Who do these people think they are. 1/2 a weeks pay to look at throat and say go away. read more

I saw a doctor who wanted to charge me several hundred dollars but offered no help for IBS C. As a master's degreed therapist if I didn't help the patient I wouldn't charge them. Instead she offered me to take fiber for which Im allergic. I told her that my intern GI specialist explained to stay away from fiber as I am allergic. She treated me terribly and has zero compassion for other people, and provided harmful advice. This used to be a good place with kind doctors who worked here. I don't know what happened. Quit making assumptions and trying to clump me into a group of addicts. Making assumptions in medical will get you into trouble. And quit charging people when you offered zero help. Expecting to get paid to do absolutely nothing is why our healthcare is so far in the dumps. Shame on you. It's fraud snd abuse. read more

My typical cold symptoms turned ugly with temp of 102. Staff was great friendly and concerned for my comfort. Was see on time no wait with my East online appointment. Dr. Meredith Liebl, MD made sure I was treated in office to relieve some of my issues. FANTASTIC experience except for being sick. Highly recommend for ER visits and to avoid the long lines at hospital! And no sitting in crowded waiting rooms with other sick people. Love this place, read more

A two hour + wait for someone who is in pain and is at URGENT care is unacceptable. I'm from Seattle and this is the second "urgent" care I've been to in this area that simply sucks. I NEVER waited more Than ten minutes in Seattle and that was getting all the way to a doctor. This is really wrong, honestly. Don't have an urgent care if you can't provide urgent care for people who come here. And no, after being in pain for three days, I'm not patient and should NOT have to wait hours. read more

Being new to the area over a year ago came here in desperation for help on a Sunday morning. Not realizing my issue could not be treated by a regular physician. So it was a wasted trip. But I did very much appreciate the doctors honesty. He said he could go ahead and examine me but would not be able to diagnose or treat the issue. So I opted not be examined. Later making an appointment with the specialized doctor I needed. More recently our 18 year old son had not been feeling well most of the week. Knowing Strep throat is going around I took his temp. It read 101.9 so I gave him acetemetophine and we went to Kootenai Urgent Care. There were three or four other families already waiting. Even so we were in and out, I believe in under two hours. The entire staff was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. They treated our son as he is, an adult. But since he allowed me to come in with him they spoke to him but politely also included me in the conversations. The nurse was very thorough in asking questions about his symptoms. I appreciated that as it was very helpful to his diagnosis. She did not think his throat looked very bad. But the doctor advised to go ahead and take the quick culture test. Sure enough he had pheryngitis Strep. Gave him a Z package of antibiodics and he got well fast, yay! Thank you guys for the work you do. We are very fortunate to have medical insurance coverage through our Employers. Kootenai Urgent Care was also very helpful in looking up our co-pay so we could pay it then and there rather then be billed later. I much prefer it that way. read more

I was very happy with the get in line option for going to any of the Kootenai Urgent Care Centers. After completing a little bit of paperwork, I was seen right away at 8:00 in the morning on a Sunday. Everything was clean and each person that I came in contact with had a sincere demeanor. Kootenai Urgent Care handled my breathing issue with a warm greeting at the counter. My wait was short thanks to an online check in system that I was so happy to learn about when I searched for "local urgent care" on google. The Doctor and staff were attentive, and Professional. They listened to my concerns, were specific in explaining a treatment plan, both verbal and in writing. Then I checked out, and off to get my Prescription at my requested Pharmacy. There was good and bad. I got inside and they checked me into a room pretty quickly. Shortly after, an emergency patient came in and I was kept waiting in my exam room for an hour and a half. And even then I was with him for about 4 minutes. Very rushed. It happens. It's okay. Just keep in mind it's probably a single doctor clinic if you want to go there. HOWEVER through all of this, the nurses were so sweet!! They kept coming into my room to check on me and when I was first examined they really seemed to care about me. Very nice :) read more

Went in at slow time and they declined to help me for a splinter, and then took 5 days to process the referral to another practice, only after I called again. Then, gave the referral to the wrong practice, and then made me wait to send it to the right one because they had "other patients to see". Screw up, and then make me wait. Great service! read more

Saturday night at 8:30pm my husband and I went to kootenai urgent care in post falls because he was having severe pain originating in his right side. The dr did a simple exam without really listening to the symptoms and came to the conclusion of a torsion...torsion of the testicles were his exact words. He went on to explain that without an ultrasound he can't be sure, and hurried us to ER for further testing. That freaked me out. We went to ER, and the doctor there listened to my husband, did the same simple exam the dr at urgent care did, and told us a torsion was not even probable because physically everything looked fine and said it was kidney stones. I feel the dr at urgent care hurried us out because it was almost 9pm, their closing time, and he wanted to go home. He didn't listen to what we were saying, and the ER dr confirmed my husband's symptoms did not represent that of a any sort of torsion. SO thanks a lot Kootenai Urgent Care of Post Falls for charging us the $50 co pay and then also sending us to the ER which is another $500 co-pay all because you couldn't do a thorough exam and LISTEN to us just because you wanted to go home. Either that or you guys are just that incompetent. read more
