They offered complimentary amenities! Not basic stuff either First time I've ever had this level of service at a dentist, or any doctor. Erys was my hygienist. He was kind and explained everything to me. You can watch Netflix, Hulu, etc while waiting. You have your own dedicated TV. Dr. Villena saw me and put together a good plan for needed dental work. They have special technology to visualize bacteria attacking the teeth; the tech shows tooth health at each layer. Deering Dental is superior to a typical dental office. Very impressed. Flexible pricing with a discount for paying up front, in full. At the end, they gave me a welcome package. Including great dental products and my choice of a gift card The package is easily worth $50+. They offer this to their new customers. I was supposed to be seen in July. I needed to expedite my dental plan due to a filling from a (good) prior dentist coming out recently. I came in on June 9th for an evaluation. Velma--another hygienist--was thorough and nice. She and Dr. Pinto explained the urgency of my situation. They gave me specialized products to get my oral health back on track. Today, Dr. Pinto and Velma saved my wisdom tooth. This is probably the best dentist office that I have visited. They are upfront about pricing and scheduling. They make it a point to have patients arrive on time so that all appointments start on time. This was the case for me as I did not experience any wait time. They also had looked up my records and checked my insurance before I arrived. They have all the tech so that X-rays and scans are quick and efficient. It was really nice to see everything on the screen in front of me. The staff was very nice and they were considerate of making sure I was comfortable. Finally, the philosophy of the practice is not to do anything unnecessarily. Anything from a deep cleaning or filling to root canal will be evaluated to see if something less invasive can be done to preserve the tooth. read more

Visiting from Ohio (snow birds), and had a dental emergency that could not wait until returning home. After talking with a number of family and friends in the area and an extensive search on Facebook, Google, and Yelp, I decided to call Deering Dental. I have had my dentist in Ohio for more than 30 years and really love him so I was a little hesitant with the process of locating a dentist in the area. Making the call to Deering Dental was a wise choice! From the time I called late Monday afternoon to explain my dilemma to the point where the dentist fixed my tooth early this morning, I received nothing but explamary service. The young lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful and took all of my information quickly. She called my insurance company and let me know what to expect upon my arrival to the office the next morning. The inside of the office is welcoming and the front desk team members were friendly, prompt and efficient. The dental rooms were well appointed and extremely clean. Dr. Pinto was out of the office today; however the dentist who assisted me was very thorough, explained everything, and did a fantastic job fixing my tooth!! The dental assistant was wonderful and worked well with the dentist and other team members. I was in and out in under 30 minutes! The moment you walk in you feel welcomed. The front desk receptionists were very helpful and patient while I was completing my information on the iPad. Once I completed my information...I was taken back to the hygienist and did not have to wait which is nice! Dani the hygienist who took my X-rays explained what she was going to do in detail. So overall my visits were good. But my experience hasn't been the greatest since their hygienist moved away. I kept getting put with contract hygienist and would leave with my gums all cut and bleeding. They were just brutal! They finally got new hygienist. I really miss the old one. She had the best touch. Dr Pinto I rarely see for more than a couple minutes. She is nice. However. If you live a very hectic schedule and you have too much going on in your life, this isn't the office for you. This is an office for people who have nothing going on except to focus on whatever they schedule in the current day. Their policy is if you miss 3 appointments you can't go back. I'm not talking back to back appointments. I'm talking if you've missed 3 appointments in your record. Because, unless you're making extra appointments you only see these people every 6 months. So, we started going there...... I'd say at least 6 years ago. But I missed 3 appointments so now I need to find a new dentist. Mind you. They don't give a crap. "Okay. Let us know who so we can forward your records!" So, they're nice but you're not valued as a human being. Just as a dollar sign. Lost money because you had too many things pop up and forgot / missed your appointment means you're kicked to the curb. Just an FYI. But for everyone who has the luxury of having nothing else to do but focus on a dental appointment they have scheduled, perfect place for you. read more

I have never been to a dentist where everyone was so concerned about my comfort. From the moment I walked in the atmosphere is quiet and calming. Dr Pinto is patient and gentle and explained every procedure thoroughly. Her staff is also wonderful. She was understanding about prioritizing the work that needed to be done for financial reasons. I did require an extraction which was done by Dr Hernandez. He listened patiently to all my anxieties due to bad past experiences. The extraction went well and there was virtually no pain. He has texted me several times to be sure all was going well. I truly can not say enough good things about Drs Pinto and Hernandez and this dental practice. While I will never enjoy going to the dentist I will no longer be filled with dread. read more

I did not feel any pain or discomfort even when the Dentist numbed my mouth and I am very very sensitive and extremely nervous when it comes to the dentist. I came to know Deering Dental from a recommendation from a friend, to get a second cost for filling my son's cavity in the molars, which was coming out as almost $600 with another doctor (and that price after dental coverage!!). I called the insurance several times and found out the cost was being driven by the filling being white colored (insurance only covered grey filling for the molars). To make long story short, when I contacted deering dental Andrea (one of the receptionists) took my problem into her hands and figure out a way to drive down the costs and make everything 100% covered by the insurance. I was extremely happy by that, but even more so when i experienced the deering dental experience, which was better than the original doctor. They were extremely gentle with my son and used all high tech materials. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind and the facility is very warm and kind. I liked everything so much that became a client myself! Only the best words to this place. You wont regret to come in here! read more

I had a very last minute dental emergency. Being new to the area, I had not yet found a dentist here. So of course, I took to Yelp and saw the great rating for Deering Dental. The office hours listed said they closed at 5 PM but I took a chance and called closer to 6 PM and someone in the office answered! I was so happy to get someone. I asked if they had anything available for the next day which was a Friday and she said they had an 8 AM appointment available. Perfect! I was the first appointment of the day and they were prompt and professional. Dr. Pinto is very nice as are all of the receptionists and dental hygienists/technicians. I had an exam which included and X-ray of the affected area. The doctor suggested I needed to see a oral surgeon. They gave me an excellent referral which I will write about in another review. The total cost for my exam and X-ray was $75. As I don't have dental insurance, I found the out of pocket cost to be very reasonable. The office is super neat and clean. It's very high-tech and modern. They've got TV screens and music...everything you need for a comfortable experience. I will definitely return to Dr. Pinto and Deering Dental for any future dental needs. read more
