Great little place for breakfast. Fast, friendly service and amazing baked goods all at a reasonable price.

Despite the heat and humidity in late May, while in PV, we decided it was coffee time. Little did I know that it was also gonna be coffee cake time too! Few pastry items illicit joy like a really good coffee cake. And, as is often the case when traveling abroad, this is not the coffee cake you order at your Suburban coffee shop. Blueberry coffee cake may very well be my absolute favorite of the flavor profiles of the coffee cake world. This particular slice came from a full pan, and she was so kind to give me a middle slice. This is not an itty-bitty slice. This is a massive slice, fit for two to share. I got a small forkfull and brought it closer to get all the smells of this delicious cake, and it hit me as I took the first bite. Sweeteners in Mexico are very different than what we are used to in the States. A blueberry burst with tartness, and a bit of sweetness. The topping had so many flavors, and it tasted so much better with just a bit of sweetness, rather than a massive sugar punch in the face. The coffee was fantastic. I love to grab a double shot of espresso anytime I visit a new coffee shop, but, being able to enjoy that in Mexico is a lovely experience. I tasted the shot without any sugar, and it was rather bitter. A bit overwhelming, but when I added a bit of sugar, it was absolute perfection. Rich, heavy crema atop the shot. Deep, bitter, rich coffee goodness just below. I love this place, and when I get down there to visit again, this is my go-to coffee spot. (Gracias por todo lo que haces para hacer un excelente café.)

Came here after the beach for a refreshing iced drink. I got a large iced americano (67 pesos). It tasted good but my cup was FILLED with ice...... not even an exaggeration. Definitely have to ask for less ice if you go. Our Uber was a couple min away so we opted for an apple coffee crumb cake slice. It was good, I liked how it wasn't overly sweet. My husband said it was a bit dry for him which I could see... but it paired well with my coffee. Nice AC and free wifi.

Great selection of coffees, teas, espresso. The bakery goods are homemade and so delicious!

Wonderful little shop right by the water in PV! The staff is super friendly and they turn around your drinks super quickly. I personally ordered a caramel latte and it was the perfect amount of sweet and coffee goodness. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Friendly staff but the pastries did not meet my expectations! I have to say I am a difficult person to please when it gets to pastry! I expect a fresh slice of cake but it was at least one day old! Too dense and not super tasty.

Needed an afternoon coffee. We got iced lattes. They were pretty good. What looked even better were all the baked goods they had for sale.

Pet friendly (our pup Raffi waits for one of Dee's sandwiches which are made quickly)

An outpost where you can get the rare authentic chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, carrot cake and good sandwiches (with some interesting twists) Run by a friendly lot led by Dee who's been here for years, there's a reason why people keep coming back over and over. Free Wi-Fi (with purchase) that's on the way to the pier (and here after you get back from the beach or some boat day trip, there's often a nice sea breeze coming through their outdoor tables. A hub bub of activity, music and friendly staff banter. Pet-friendly for sure.

Owned and Operated by Dee for 14 years. HandMade fresh and throughout the day. A variety of delicious homemade pastries for breakfast and snacks. Coffee is strong and freshly roasted. She too has smoothies, bagels, and other sandwiches. Big operation in a small town with great costumer service and Dee provides & shops the highest quality products she serves. Opens at 7 am consistently and stays open until 10ish AND Dee's is Entirely NO SMOKING. Not only is she concerned about the cleanliness inside and food preparation but to the table sitting area. Sit and enjoy your Food, Coffee, and Friends in a *Smoke Free Cafe and *No Second Hand Smoke to ruin your experience. Thank you Dee's Coffee !

Clearly marked vegan options. Staff aware of what is vegan and what can be made. The vibe inside is clean and really good. The service was really great. And the best part food and beverages - there is nothing we could find that was off. The mini churros were freshly made and came to us within a minute after that. The two vegan dips - peanut butter and strawberry jelly went so well together. The family tells me the condensed milk was very good as well. The Canadiano (black) was amongst the best we have had. The brew was so smooth and tasted just perfect. No bitterness or sourness and the temperature was perfect. The vegan Iced Chai Latte with soy milk was unlike any chai latter we have had. The spices were warm and drink cold and a hint cinnamon, cardamom and cloves - OMG. We were so impressed that we came the very next day and had the same thing again.

ATMOSPHERE: Cool and clean intimate cafe with a few seats. MENU: Salads, paninis, churros, cafe-style beverages and some alcohol. DESSERT: Churro Cup Choose a gelato flavor and topping. I opted for vanilla which went well with the generous amount of mini churros piled on top and declined a topping. The churros had good, creamy flavor, but were a bit too firm for my liking either due to their thinness or simply overcooked. SERVICE: Excellent. Very welcoming and friendly with follow up in between. TIP: Closed on Tuesday's; hours are 1p - 9:50p. OVERALL: Nice variety of churro combinations.

True to its name -- Spanish slang for "calm down" or "take it easy" or even "chill out" it is a straightforward cafe with slightly elevated prices and genuinely excellent customer service. That service, more than anything else, is what drives its strong reputation. The space inside is large enough to accommodate some decent sized groups, but due to the lack of ventilation I opted for their limited outdoor seating. It wasn't the most ideal situation, as a sign fell on top of my table, a stray dog was sniffing around, and the next door space was undergoing loud construction. We still made it work, due to the graciousness of the staff and their willingness to stay open past 4pm. Their iced latte ($70MXN), double espresso ($55MXN), and mambo smoothie ($110MXN) was the right thing to order at the time, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The latte had a good amount of milk in it, so much to the point that I was unsure about any coffee. This place is cash only and the lack of additional IVA tax charges came as a nice surprise. When I'm back in PV, I'm definitely interested in trying their brunch. The chilaquiles, breakfast tacos look fabulous, though the rest of the menu seems a bit skewed toward the gringo palate. The ultra friendly staff make this place what it is, which is worthy of many future visits.
