Charming cafe with high quality offerings. Loved our latte and quiche. Both high quality and filling. Would definitely return. Only con is that seating is very limited, so I wouldn't bet on getting a table unless you're okay with sitting at the bar.

Located one block from the beach in Zona Romantica guests visiting Puerto Cafe can expect locally sourced Beans carefully roasted and used to make a variety of Coffee beverages ranging from artistic Lattes to pure pour-over and bottled Coldbrew with excellent balance. Offering seats, air conditioning and WiFi, all rarities in Puerto Vallarta, those arriving early may also be fortunate enough to encounter a woman named Lu arrives walking her dog to deliver chewy Cookies ranging from Chocolate Chip to Cranberry.

First time visiting puerto Vallarta and had to make sure I hit up the best spots for coffee. puerto was one of the few spots that showed up that spoke about making really good coffee. We should up on a Monday around 11:30pm and noticed it was a little packed. They have one small table for two and the rest is bar seating. People were leaving as we arrived so they kindly gave her their seats. The workers were very attentive and asked us what kind of coffee we liked. They don't have syrups to go with their coffees, however after trying the latte, we realized we didn't need sugar because the coffee already had a natural sweet taste. The coffees were absolutely delicious and I wish I went back for more.

Puerto cafe is a legit coffee shop. The baristas know what they're doing! As soon as I asked if they have any sugar or syrups for their lattes, they said absolutely not so you can taste the coffee beans in your drink I like my lattes a little sweet, but I let them make me a latte with no sugar or syrup, and it was phenomenal!!!! I love the coffee beans they use and their techniques You can see them make your drinks in front of you if you sit at the bar area. 100000/10 experience

A hole in the wall cafe with lots of character. The best coffee I had in Puerto Vallarta.

Very cute hidden coffee shop that was conveniently located directly across the street from my Airbnb. Ordered hot coffee and cold brew. They brew each individual cup of coffee so it is extremely fresh. The cold brew actually comes in a small cute bottle and they provide you a cup with/without ice for you to pour it into. Very cute spot with some seating inside!

Ham quiche and two flat whites....left us ready for the beach!

Beautiful little cafe with strong and delicious coffee. Try the baked goods as well...the ham quiche and a cookie pair quite well with the coffee! A small but perfect menu for a little snack or small breakfast. Friendly staff and great music in the background.

This shop is awesome. I have to say I did not have high hopes of drinking quality coffee whilst in PV but these guys quickly wiped away that notion. Serving Mexican grown coffee roasted in Guadalajara, the baristas serve up interesting cups of both espresso and pour over. The pour over we had was an overdosed (high coffee to water ratio) natural from Puebla which was intense and totally delicious. The espresso we had a couple of times was a little inconsistent, one shot was awesome the other a little under-extracted but still perfectly drinkable. My husband and I will certainly be back several times over our trip!

Nice local coffeehouse in the heart of El Centro district. It's a 5 minute walk towards the pier and ocean views, a few blocks away from the Lady of Guadalupe church, and plenty of local eats nearby. Place is not big, but big enough to hangout with friends at the bar or at the tables towards the front for a quick catchup. Service was good, and nice presentation with my cappuccino. Cheers!

The best cafe in Puerto. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Definitely a vibe here. They serve coffee, beer and wine.

Latte, cranberry cookie & blueberry bread! The latte doesn't come sweetened - You can ask for brown sugar on the side!

Cute, cool cafe with an authentic flavor! Definitely come here if you love coffee :) Latte (60 pesos) - it comes with 2 shots. The coffee beans are slightly strong and roasted, but not bitter! BTW the latte doesn't come with sugar because they really want to focus on the taste of the coffee itself. You can ask for brown sugar on the side! Pastries (50 pesos each) - we got the blueberry loaf and cranberry cookie! Both were very moist and paired perfectly with the strong coffee. Service was great & prices were affordable!

Maybe the best latte that we had in PV. Go for the great coffee, not the environment. It's kinda sparse and not too interesting.

Love the vibe of this cafe. The staff is friendly. I had their iced chai and it was good. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area. Worth checking out!

Clearly marked vegan options. Staff aware of what is vegan and what can be made. The vibe inside is clean and really good. The service was really great. And the best part food and beverages - there is nothing we could find that was off. The mini churros were freshly made and came to us within a minute after that. The two vegan dips - peanut butter and strawberry jelly went so well together. The family tells me the condensed milk was very good as well. The Canadiano (black) was amongst the best we have had. The brew was so smooth and tasted just perfect. No bitterness or sourness and the temperature was perfect. The vegan Iced Chai Latte with soy milk was unlike any chai latter we have had. The spices were warm and drink cold and a hint cinnamon, cardamom and cloves - OMG. We were so impressed that we came the very next day and had the same thing again.

ATMOSPHERE: Cool and clean intimate cafe with a few seats. MENU: Salads, paninis, churros, cafe-style beverages and some alcohol. DESSERT: Churro Cup Choose a gelato flavor and topping. I opted for vanilla which went well with the generous amount of mini churros piled on top and declined a topping. The churros had good, creamy flavor, but were a bit too firm for my liking either due to their thinness or simply overcooked. SERVICE: Excellent. Very welcoming and friendly with follow up in between. TIP: Closed on Tuesday's; hours are 1p - 9:50p. OVERALL: Nice variety of churro combinations.

True to its name -- Spanish slang for "calm down" or "take it easy" or even "chill out" it is a straightforward cafe with slightly elevated prices and genuinely excellent customer service. That service, more than anything else, is what drives its strong reputation. The space inside is large enough to accommodate some decent sized groups, but due to the lack of ventilation I opted for their limited outdoor seating. It wasn't the most ideal situation, as a sign fell on top of my table, a stray dog was sniffing around, and the next door space was undergoing loud construction. We still made it work, due to the graciousness of the staff and their willingness to stay open past 4pm. Their iced latte ($70MXN), double espresso ($55MXN), and mambo smoothie ($110MXN) was the right thing to order at the time, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The latte had a good amount of milk in it, so much to the point that I was unsure about any coffee. This place is cash only and the lack of additional IVA tax charges came as a nice surprise. When I'm back in PV, I'm definitely interested in trying their brunch. The chilaquiles, breakfast tacos look fabulous, though the rest of the menu seems a bit skewed toward the gringo palate. The ultra friendly staff make this place what it is, which is worthy of many future visits.

The workshop advertises itself as a place to "make chocolate"; I guess I interpreted this a little too literally. The workshop consisted of literally pouring melted chocolate into molds and then adding some toppings like nuts or sprinkles to it. While this was very fun for my daughter who is a toddler, I felt ripped off for this experience. Furthermore, that you aren't even provided enough chocolate to complete your molds is a little disappointing in my opinion. Others in my group seemed to agree. The chocolate itself is very pricy, especially for the quality. It was more expensive than the pricier bars I've seen at Whole Foods. However, if you go to the botanical gardens, this chocolate is sold there but for about 25% more than what is in the shop. It also would have been nice to have had dark chocolate as an option for the experience. I think just having one type (milk chocolate) is an easy way for choco museum to improve. While our host was friendly and informative, it felt like a stretch to call this place a museum. I did learn stuff, but it seems you could only access the "museum" if you paid for a workshop.
