I brought him home and immediately called to see what treatment he was given. Basically nothing!!! When I spoke to someone on Monday, she offered to "work with me if he had to go to the vet." What does that mean??? Then I asked if she had a handwashing protocol between pets. She assumed employees washed their hands! I asked her why a picture of my dog's eye was not sent to me, so I could decide his care if they are not willing to care for it. As far as I recently found out, our pets are left alone at night and no cameras are used. My dog will never go there again!

The email said they could and it wouldn't be a problem jusy bring down the attached application filled out Monday and we'll get her booked Go to drop off the application on Moday, January 30th at 11:00 am. Spoke to a really nice woman named Dawn who wasn't sure how to go about it, but told me they had room avaliable and would let Laurie know to give me a call later that day to confirm. I head back in around 3:45 because I hadn't heard from anyone. Met with another nice person who also said Laurie had just left but if I left my # she would make sure it would get to her first thing in the morning. I asked to please give me a call even if they couldn't board her so I'm not waiting around all day. I call them up the following day (tiday is January 31st )12:15 to see what's going on as I had yet to hear from them. My call went to the answering machine. I wish I could leave a good review as the staff I met with in person are really nice, but this is a horrible way to run a business. No sense in telling a customer you can provide a service and then ghost them. It really looks like a nice facility and I gave it two stars because Dawn was nice, but other than that, I've had the same experience as the other negative reviews

I called and made my reservations and I was happy to find out the great deal on doggie day care so I booked my dog for boarding and day care. When I arrived I was greeted warmly. At check out my dog was happy to see me. I could tell she had a great time. I will be back for sure. Also some times when you take your dog for boarding they come back smelling and she didn't it was great.

I took my dog over to meet the others in advance and to see if she would get along personality wise with the dogs and cats that would be there. Their home is very inviting and there is lots of room to run and play in the fenced backyard. While on my trip I received photos of my dog via email and when I picked her up she was happy and non stressed at all - something I always had to deal with in the past when taking her to traditional kennels. FOR YOU GARTH Dean…read moreand I have been taking Garth to a dog daycare on French Island at DIGGITY DOG DARE CARE on Dean's day off, not that Garth needed to go, we were only taking him for social interaction because Garth loves to play. We were paying diggity dog daycare on French Island to take care of our dog while he is there. Garth had to go through extensive screening to make sure "He" was a good dog with no behavioral problems and can play well with others before he could be accepted at this daycare. That being said...... Our gentle giant, our beautiful big hearted lovable Dog was viciously attacked by another dog while in their care! Now we understand no one can predict animal instincts, we get that. So this is what happened. Dean dropped Garth off at 7 AM & by noonish Dean got a phone call saying Garth was attacked by another dog and there is some blood. We were always told EVERYTIME we picked Garth up how he followed the same employee & her dog around all the time in fact they were inseparable, but unfortunately "this day" not a word. In fact, "no-one saw anything" we find it hard to believe that no one saw anything! They did tell us that they did try to clean the wound. Dean said he will be there as soon as possible (IMMEDIATELY) to get him! Dean picks Garth up and takes him straight to the vet where they had to call in a surgeon to stitch Garth's wound up. While Dean is waiting to hear how Garth is doing he calls Diggity dog daycare & asks to speak with the owner, Pat, the owner gets on the phone and says I heard what happened & we can't predict these things it's very unfortunate that this happened (?!?? NO APOLOGY ?!??!!) Dean tells the owner, Pat, Garth is in surgery right now getting stitched up and was told it's going to cost about $600 (which is besides the damn point!!) and the owner said blah blah blah blah these things happen dogs will be dogs we try to watch blah blah blah finally Dean has had enough listening to the owner, Pat, go on and on with his BS when we are only worried about how Garth is doing. Dean tells the owner, Pat from Diggity dog day care, he has to get off the phone and wait for the vet to hear an update on how Garth is doing. Dean proceeds to tell the owner Pat, of Diggity dog daycare, since you cannot tell us which dog did this to Garth, we will not be bringing Garth back there. Dean also reminds Pat of Diggity dog daycare, that we have paid many weeks in advance and will expect to be reimbursed. They hang up..... Update, Garth is ok. A week had gone by........ NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER FROM DIGGITY DOG DAYCARE OR PAT (the owner) HIMSELF EVER CALLED TO ASK HOW GARTH IS DOING!!!!!!!! Dean & I called Pat at diggity dog daycare the following week to see where things stood. Pat, the owner, was reluctantly willing to refund our "paid in advance" money back but nothing more. That is when I said to him..... Dean & I trusted you & your staff to take care of Garth while he was there, we payed you to to watch him, we understand things like this can happen BUT what we can't understand is why YOU nor ANY OF YOUR STAFF NEVER ONCE CALLED TO ASK IF GARTH WAS OK!!!!!!! Friends of Fur-babies PLEASE BE ADVISED.
