Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!! Brian and Jacob were both very polite and friendly and pretended it was not disgusting. They were professional and worked diligently despite the filth. They wrapped everything up nicely and got everything loaded up quite quickly. At the apartment, they unloaded everything quickly and then helped us to figure out how to place the furniture to get it all to fit! They did a great job and it is well deserved 5 stars!!

I used Yelp to get several quotes and I picked Sacramento Brothers because they had the best quote and quick communication. They showed up the day of the move on time and got right to work. The truck was packed before I knew it without incident. I was also leaving a couple things behind and they were thoughtful enough to move them downstairs for me. They showed up at the new place quickly and started unloading ASAP. I had leaf a couple things I needed across town so I left them to it. By the time I got back they were finished. They quoted me a 3 hour minimum and finished just before 3 hours. They didn't try to pad the time at all and the bill was exactly what they quoted me. I'll definitely use Sacramento Brothers next time I move and they even offer a small discount for repeat customers. You should definitely at least get a quote from them if read all this.

A couple of days before the move, I saw rain in the forecast and reached out to see if things would still move forward. Rain or shine, everything still went on as planned. Manny and Trey arrived on time and got to work ASAP. They loaded everything on the truck at the two requested locations and headed to Sacramento. Once we got to Sacramento, they started unloading everything. The move was to the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator and down the hall from the stairs. Though it was a tough move, Manny and Trey were both patient, kind, and efficient. They even cracked a few jokes, and we shared some laughs. It began to rain at the end of the move, and they still continued with a positive attitude. I am so grateful for their hard work, amazing service, and dedication to helping me get moved in. Overall, this was one of the best moving experiences I've had in a long time. A few items weren't handled exactly how I might have expected, but that's partly on me. I probably overpacked some boxes and assumed certain things would always stay on top. Nothing was seriously damaged or broken, and that's what matters most. Travis went above and beyond fixing a stain on my mother's leather chairs that were there when he come out to give her a quote. He also took extra furniture to donate on his own effort when we asked if he could do it. Harlan and David also went above and beyond by loading my sister's truck with furniture that wouldn't fit in my mom's new apartment. They had to do more than what we initially asked and only charged a small extra amount. They were so kind patient and helpful. "THANK YOU". They did such great work and sure know what they are doing. This crew worked so hard and worked practically nonstop in the HEAT. THE JOB / was to demolish a large patio with thick concrete patio, remove a partial patio enclosure and Saltillo tiles on a large upper deck area. You open your trunk and all the employees will take your recycling, sort if for you and give back your containers. The employees are all very friendly, absolutely helpful and professional. You just have to get out of your car to get your payment and sign. For cans, I recommend squishing them to get more room in your bag. Bottles/plastics can have lids but make sure that they have the Ca CRV label. Will definitely be coming back here.

Dee's Movers were able to squeeze us in at the last minute and saved us from a horrible move. These guys made it look easy. They were prompt, reasonably priced, and worked all day with only one small break. I would use them again in a second. So many businesses are not very professional these days, but Devon is the ultimate pro. Other movers never even called us back! These guys deserve 10 stars. read more

Hard to say what to make of these reviews. A lot of five-star reviews have recently bubbled up to the top: that tells me Dee/Devon has given in somewhat to Yelp's extortion racket. But he's still not at Yelp's platinum level; you see that from the fact that the first thing Yelp shows you is three suggestions for alternatives to Dee/Devin. read more

If I could give more stars I would! Dee and his team were just fabulous. These guys moved so much stuff from the third floor, across the parking lot and up to the second floor. No complaining, just kept working and working, up and down the stairs with just one small break all day. Highly recommend for your next move. read more

They then canceled on me 20 minutes before the rescheduled time, saying they *couldnt* leave the other move to honor my appointment even tho the other person wasn't even packed. (They just wanted that extra hourly cost from that person I'm sure). Rescheduled for the next day. Cost me money because I had already paid for daycare and for a cleaner to come to my old place. I had to pay for another day of day care and pay my cleaning person a cancellation fee plus the cleaning fee. Almost $300. Despite being very clear about moving a 1400sq ft place, they showed up with a truck that was too small to do it in one trip as discussed (Dragging out the time/cost). One mover was polite. The other was rude and the overall experience was beyond unprofessional. They left me with scratched and wobbly/damaged furniture from mishandling. They even asked us to help move things ! When the office person sent the text requesting payment, I asked about the price being adjusted for the huge and expensive inconvenience they caused me the day before and she was reluctant to do anything. After my insistence she gave me a small discount, but in actuality I should not have paid a dime over the originally quoted price due to the unprofessionalism and what they cost me by canceling. I asked if they were an insured company and she refused to answer or address my damaged furniture. She was generally pretty defensive and kept repeating the same excuse instead of wanting to accommodate me. I will obviously never recommend or use this company.

Then I got sick with kidney stones that forced me to rest. I decided I needed help and called the owner. He sent 3 employees who came to my old apartment in South Natomas. I've never used movers before, so I stacked all my heavy, heavy bins, one large book case/shelf, my queen mattress, lots of clothing, my dresser I've had for 20+ years, my son's tiny dresser, and other miscellaneous items. They were very thoughtful and communicative. I felt so bad knowing that they arrived to the new townhouse apartment that is 3 floors inside and they managed through heavy and light to carry everything up and down. Truly, I am grateful for the 3 that came today. They even kept light spirits with jokes with 4th and 5th floors! They were also courteous and took photos of any bumps in the home prior to loading. The apartment townhouse did have a small chip from the paint prior moving in. If I move within the state again locally, I will definitely request their services. Also, I paid via Venmo. They accept multiple types of payments. My goal is to move one county over into El Dorado County. Highly recommend!!!
