So I requested their service as theirs were priced much lower than others ($125) per hour but you have to book 3 hours. That pricing goes up if you want more than 2 movers. They do bring their equipment and a long truck. This is how I genuinely felt because hiring movers is always a nerve wrecking experience not knowing what the experience will be like. These guys are nice. I guess Larry is the owner. He was there along with another guy. I found their services good. However, I did feel like they were slow. From coming back from their truck to my Appartment , it was taking a very long time. I did find spots where the paint of the wall and door was chipped in my Appartment and the walls in the house I was moving into as well. They secured my dresser and other things but I found some of my things had minor damaged. I would recommend their service but just let them know be extra cautious with the walls and your objects. Overall, they are nice. They just need to be faster so the work can get done within the time frame you set. read more

Heavy Lifters Moving did an amazing job! Larry was able to add an additional crew member to assist with last minute packing, which was really appreciated. We were downsizing from a house with 20+ years of belongings to a smaller home locally. All furniture and TV/electronics were covered in moving blankets. Packing was carefully done with paper wrap, which they provided. The crew even dismantled the bed and set it up at the new house. We wanted easy, efficient, and affordable. We got all of that and more. Larry and his partner (whose name I can't remember) arrived on time and ready to get to it. They were extremely well organized and it was clearly not their first rodeo. I really appreciated their friendly attitudes and the amount of respect they showed our home and our belongings. All large pieces of furniture including mattresses were wrapped and kept safe. We have some sentimental furniture and they were so kind in hearing the story behind it and treating it gently. They provided all of their own equipment - truck, dollie's, furniture wrap/blankets, & tape. I was quoted for 4 hours and they finished almost on the dot. When we unloaded at the new spot they asked where we wanted every single piece and also helped us try different furniture arrangements without making us feel rushed. They were quick to offer advice, let us change our mind, etc. By the end of the day it felt like they had become our friends. The made sure to clean up all of the packing materials and leave no mess behind. Cannot recommend them more and we would use them again in a heartbeat. We paid cash exactly what we were quoted and gave them each a tip. Scheduled a move on a Saturday. After finding out it was going to rain I was able to easily reschedule to a Wednesday. Anthony and (I unfortunately didn't catch the other man's name) were extremely helpful and quick. I was quoted for 4 hours and they finished in 3. They had tools for everything, taking the front door off the hinges, taking the handles off of the fridge, removing the washer. Would definitely recommend! Not to mention they were affordable! We had a negative experience with this moving company. I provided an itemized list of everything we needed moved, was quoted a flat fee, and paid a deposit that same day. Our move was from our one-bedroom apartment in Arden to Midtown. On the day of the move, the team arrived over an hour late, the price was increased by an additional $100 before any work even began, which was very disappointing given they quoted me a flat-fee agreement. We had two movers: one worked great, but the other carried only one or two small items at a time, which significantly slowed the process.
