The movers were excellent. The pricing was confusing but that was on me because I didn't slow down and read the fine print.

We were so disappointed with this Company! the first person who i spoke with sounded legitimate although he has incompetent sloppy workers he employs. They dropped our dresser down our stairs, only to catch it on the last step. Secondly, another guy broke my a plate of my china, thirdly they dragged same dresser across our wood floor! which could not be removed out. The moved at such a fast pace which is why i believe all the accidents occurred. We didn't want to complain about the dresser or china. But when we cannot get this big huge scratch out of the wood floor, we contacted the owner. He told us to take measurements and tried to insist that we put the scratch on our floor trying to get out of taking responsibility for it.!! talk to another person who said we were harassing them through text messages, which was not true. We were making them aware of everything that occurred because they did not pick up their phone. This is sad. Stay away from this company unless you want your floor scratched, and your house ruined do your homework and if you have to pay more, I would do it.!! lastly a business needs to take full responsibility for their workers and the owner should've been out at the house Super supervising them.. read more

We recently hired Chris Moves for our move. We started our search from yelp and was able to decide thru yelp messaging. Their owner was very prompt with messaging and was straight to the point. Our movers were very punctual. We hired a team of two for a 3 bed and 2.5 bath. Man, these guys can work! They hustled their way and was able to fit pretty much my whole house in one trip. Chris is super responsive and a great communicator on Yelp. Among all the different moving companies I chatted with, he was by far the best at explaining his pricing and services without having to get in the phone so I booked with him. On moving day, the crew showed up on time and the 4 of us did a quick walk through of what in the house was moving. (I'll pause here just to state that I have moved a lot in my life both as a military brat and as an adult) Normally, at this point, there would be a clear leader in the crew that would direct the other 2 to make sure they load appropriately and to be more effective and efficient. What happened here was 3 guys haphazardly grabbing and loading without a clear plan. This backfired on them as the truck became full and so they wasted about 45 minutes in the street trying to 'reorganize' the load as I pulled up my Jeep and started loading it to help. I turned around to watch them stacking my bicycles on top of each other laying on their sides. I was going to say something but at that point I knew whatever damage was done was done and at the end of the day, all the bikes have damage. In the end, the job took 6 hours, when I know it could've been done in under 5 but I also bought them lunch so I'm sure that wasted some time. I'm not marking them down for too much time though. I'm marking them down to 4 stars because the crew sent was clearly inexperienced. It's also important to note that one of the guys is NOT vaccinated (& is an anti-Vader) despite Yelp's page stating everyone is vaccinated. Yesterday was move day and Chris showed up with 3 men to help me with packing and moving my things to the new location. I've worked with several moving companies in the past and none of them were as courteous as Chris and his employees. They took great care of my furniture with minimal damage. They also helped me semi organize the garage at drop off so that I can get to the things to unpack. The movers, Mauricio and Peyton, were professional, they arrived 5/10 mins early, they took great care with my items, were very efficient and FAST! My highest recommendations for these two men!!! With all my posts, mostly poor ones, I would think that at least the actual owners would step in. For me, I'm over it. I'm moving out is state this month and no, I won't soon forget how rude and disrespectful they were. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. Well, I'm dripping with oil. In my new fortress of solitude I will continue to spew my comments until they get the message. It's sad when their actions affect other employees that are really trying to do a good job. Since I was approved for a new complex elsewhere one would think I would be satisfied. However, I'll probably have to hire bodyguards in my new location. I paid about $2500 for a packing and my move and when I got was a move, yes, with broken objects, ruined furniture, the worlds worst packing, my storage is literally a mess I have to go in and clean it from the way they threw things in there. Chris assured me he was overseeing the move and even told me he was there but he was not. He was. Or even there in the job. The response from him when I talked to him about the broken items in my room and furniture-what is he knew exactly who did this and he would get to the bottom of it. The next time I contacted him he pretended to be someone else on the phone and threatened that they would call the police on me if I contacted them again. If you want to use five unskilled laborers for your move then please by all means call this company. If you want broken and destroyed items-please call them. they literally dragged my $1200 table on the cement when I asked them to please take it apart before they moved it and they assured me they would. They literally packed my living room odds and ends by tossing them in a garbage bag as you can see in the photos. And when I texted him a couple of weeks later when I started unpacking-he said he was skeptical because it had been a couple of weeks since I moved.
